Thanks for the vid. Hayden Panetierre is the ideal example for a true spring. She glows and has that golden tone. Good to see that you're back - your makeup is on point! 💐

I love the detail that you include in this video. Especially when you talk about saving certain colors for summer time. I believe I am a true spring, yet my coloring throughout the year can slightly vary. Wintertime, my hair is darker and skin lighter- whereas summertime my hair gets naturally more golden and my skin gets naturally bronzed. Additionally, my skin can be rather transparent sometimes, flushing easily or being more red at times, and my dark circles show very easily . Of course I try to adjust these things with makeup but I am also trying to understand what colors in my pallet work best to emphasize what. So thank you for all the detail you included that is helping me understand!

I loved the inclusion of Shelbia for an example of the summer palette! Helpful as someone who has more pigmentation 😊

Thanks so much for your guidance. I'm testing my color palette, and since my natural hair is dark ash brown, with grey-brown eyes, and my complexion is medium/tan and rosy even by some European standards, I'm coming up as a true summer. Being a woman of color, I was originally under the impression I am a winter.

You could be a Summer. It's not that if you are a woman of color you must only be a winter type. No, you could be any of the types. See how well you look in grey color. Normally, if you are a Summer type - you should look very harmoniously with it, especially near the face.

@@FilosoFashion Thank you dear lady. You are so beautiful and an artist for sure! I wanted to ask, my dark brown hair turns chestnut brown with red highlights as it grows out, especially light in the spring and summer. I checked the grey, and it actually looked good on me. Light grey was okay, medium grey was pretty but I liked the pewter grey more than black! I seem to be olive because gold fabric makes me look a bit sickly and green, unless it's bright lemon yellow or rose gold. My eyes have a blue grey ring on the outer part, and are brown with reddish gold flecks inside, so confusing! I'm quite confounded by my coloring.

@@JaylaniAngelique hi. According to another analyst, if you're cool toned and you look better in grey (medium to charcoal grey) than black, then you're a summer, not winter. Winters look good in black.

You can be both these color palettes :) Decide on what's your main palette and what is secondary. That will make your life easier.
