I always thought I had to be autumn or winter because of my hair and eyes but for years I noticed that I looked terrible in both of those seasons and just figured out that I'm a bright spring. I am so happy you included Kerry Washington in this video because she has dark eyes and hair but is bright like me. I think most of us black women have been told we could only be autumn or winter and that's just not true. So thank you so much ❤️
I just came here from her video on finding your season and I completely relate!!! I just assumed that I’m an autumn because there didn’t seem to be any helpful info that would make me think there’s another option with having dark hair and eyes as the default for most black women. Hopefully I got it right and I’m very excited to see what I can come up with as a true spring!!🥰
Hi, I suggest to watch Cocoa Styling's vids - she specialises in dark skinned women. In her system, you can be any of the 4 main seasons, depending on your contrast levels, etc.
Yup I kept flip flopping between dark autumn and bright spring but I'm even more drawn to bright spring. I can wear pieces from dark autumn but not all of it
I always thought that I am a deep autumn and just recently I discovered that I'm actually a bright spring. This explains so much, especially regarding all black and monochromatic outfits looking awful on me. People have a tendency to think black looks good on everyone and don't believe me when I tell them I look hideous in black despite having jet black hair (asian genes). Wearing black makes me look dead. Now I understand why and it's such a relief! I recall a conversation with a friend of mine a long time ago where I told her that bright colours that people usually avoid because it was too outlandish or loud actually suit me and look good on me. I'm going to have fun playing around with this colour palette.
You nailed this! I am a Bright Spring and soooo many people don't "get it". Especially the makeup thing, I can only wear very specific types of makeup and I look AMAZING with it, I glow, any nude or darker lips or eyes and i look absolutely terrible instantly. Blonde in my hair washes me out. I wear makeup and jewellery that add to my glow, if it doesn't glow it's gotta go! I always look well dressed and nicely presented, but because I glow so much I have to be careful to not go over the top because i honestly sparkle so hard naturally. It's nice to see our kind represented. We are quite rare. Love the representation of different races in this video, I always spot a bright Spring or a bright winter because they stand out so much. I am fair skinned Caucasian, green eyes and dark auburn hair. High contrast baby!
Im a bright spring and i love me some nude lipstick. Like i cannot pull off nude lipstick that’s Brown that’s for sure this whole trend with Brown lipstick ain’t for me but i look great in a nude lipstick that’s more pink or orange rather than brown. And like i love me some silver every now and then…
Yes, I am a bright spring to and it took me a lot of time, to figure it out. But always, when I put on a black blazer with a pure white top, I shine. For most, exept the clear winter, this combination does nothing for them. We are those two types, who shine with high contrast near our face. I also notice clear springs and clear winters emidiately. We glow and sparkle like crazy. No other type carries this freshness and glow with them, like clear spring and clear winter does. Even in the winter months, where 90% of all people look dull and pale, we radiate fresh like the sun. Its such a beautiful coloring the nature gave us. I had a period in my live, where I only wore neutrals and a lot of beiges. Cause I thought that this classic, formal "colors" work well with me. But I was so wrong. Our natural coloring needs colors.
Have you ever tried hot pink clothes?? I have tried that colour even for my hair colour, and hey, that looks amazing on me, quite the same with clothes. I hate blond hair colour, specially the cool ones. I love being part of spring ❤ it is quite the same as my personality, sparkling everywhere
I thought I was bright spring because my skin is yellow especially at rest and light yellow gold jewelry looks good on me. But a lot of warm colors did not look good on me. I also couldn’t help but notice that my legs and hands look purply when I’m active. I love colors and found that true bright red looked great on me so I stuck to red even tho I wanted to expand on the colors I wore. I finally understood that I have a cool undertone even tho my skin is yellow. I can pull off light gold but not yellow gold like 24k. This lead me to understand that I’m actually a bright winter. Bright cobalt blue and neon green look so good on me and they were colors I always avoided because I thought I was warm toned. Can’t wait to wear more bright colors now 😁
You sound like me! I don’t look great in most yellows or oranges unless they’re cooler or pastel, but I dye my hair copper and it looks great on me. I also look good in true reds, and bright white and black look best on me, and people compliment me when I wear black. I still can’t quite decide if I’m a bright spring or winter. I think I might be somewhere in between, as so many colours look decent on me.
The color salmon looks very good on me and always wondered why because I’m drawn to more dark muddy colors and wanted the cooler tones to look as good, but Now I love it and started playing around with more bright colors!
This video is the best explanation I’ve seen on this color season. I’m pretty certain I’m a bright spring now. Every detail down to muted metal finishes not working on bright springs resonated. These are observations I’ve been making since a teenager and now I’m understanding why I had these feelings about what works on me
Please, do a bright winter video too! This bright spring vid was insanely useful, and I'm really curious for the main differences between the two types. Thanks for this spring video :3
This was extremely helpful, Thank You!! Although I had found other resources that helped me determine that I’m a Bright Spring, most were vague on makeup, some even suggesting ‘natural’ as the nude-pale looks that I Knew didn’t flatter me! I especially appreciate your detailed analysis of the women’s photos you provided. Multiple examples like that provide excellent guidance. Now I can simply sort through which brights and dewy looks I prefer!
Hi. Another analyst said that if you can wear pumpkin orange, olive green & mustard yellow, you're an autumn. Otherwise, you're a spring (need brighter, clearer colors).
I see… skin is neutral or neutral warm. That lines up with silver, white gold and rose gold working best for me. This video was much more comprehensive, and sticking with the one works better than the overview of all the season because it encompasses details like neutral makeup and jewelry. I’m still lost though. I feel much happier in more “autumn” colors, with the occasional “spring”. Silver jewelry is much better because I’m not as warm as true or warm autumn implies. So frustrating, but after over a decade of reading about color analysis, I guess I’m in between.
Hi. In the 16 season system (used by Carol Brailey), there's a "true warm" season, which is in between spring & autumn. If you can't be professionally analyzed, I suggest to consider yourself as "true warm" and choose colors from the true spring or true autumn palettes. Before buying clothes, put them near your face to see if the color is harmonious & looks good on you. Good luck!
I had my colours done in the early nineties & caused much discussion - autumn or spring. Autumn was the outcome & I still feel that is correct. I have very pale skin, grey, green, blue eyes, dark blonde, light brown hair - now going champagne white. Love green & orange.
I am sure that the primary color aspect of my appearance is bright. However, I can’t figure out if I am bright spring or winter, because I find my undertone to be neutral. I think that watching again this video + watching bright winter when you release it will help!
I have the same problem! I think I'm dominant bright as I have very pale skin, bright orange hair and bright blue eyes however, for the life of me I can't figure out if I'm warm or cool, my hair is warm and my eyes are cool but my skin is neutral???
@@Paigeyy1998 have you checked out eye pattern theory? That could help you! Also if you imagine wearing a bright orange lipstick and a bright pink bubblegum lipstick, which one would suit you best? This can be helpful for me cause looking at the skin alone I can't tell What's warm or cool!
@@Paigeyy1998 So I took a photo of myself with natural light and used a palette generator, the colors were definetly cool. But I really want to try an orange lipstick like Lucy said.
I have the same problem... I look good with bright orange lipstick and bright pink lipstick. I look horrible in nudes or very dark shades, but anything that is bright, regardless if it's warm or cool toned, looks good on me. I dye my hair a lot. I used to be a very cool toned red up until recently (pink-purple), I've also tried blue hair and these colors looked great on me. Now I am a warm orangey shade of red and I look very good in this as well. I also look good in warm blonde. The only difference is that when I have warm toned hair I look good in clothing with certain warm colors, and when I have cool toned hair I look good in clothing with cool colors. My natural hair is dark brown that looks cooler than warmer, my skin is very pale, with rosy cheeks but also a blue, cool undertone, I have blue veins but also green ones, and my eyes are a very warm color, like honey, with a deep green rim around the edges of the iris. So I am incredibly confused. For the sake of just moving forward, I have decided to consider myself a bright spring when my hair is dyed in warm colors and a bright winter when it has cool colors, and wear the make up and clothing that suit that respective season.
@tabita stan If you can wear orange, that's the giveaway that you aren't a cool season. Cool seasons can't wear orange because their skin is blue-based. That's why there is no orange in winter or summer palettes.
This has definitely confirmed it for me!! Well...I can 90% confidently say I'm a bright spring. I'm sad because I do love a monochromatic look and muted tones, I find that if I'm tan they don't look bad! But these colors definitely make sense for me. Especially the lipstick. This was super helpful.
Love all of your videos. They have the best clarity of concepts and production value of all the PCA videos I’ve seen. I send them to my friends when they start to get into PCA. Can’t wait for bright winter (for myself) and soft summer (for my friend).
I am eager for your extensive video on a True Winter. This is a really interesting series. I can tell that you have worked very hard on these video. Well done ! 👏👏👏
Its nice to see that I was naturally gravitating to colours that contrast. I didnt know why i loved red and yellow together, but it always looked good on me. I have now figured out why haha!
I love this. I’m definitely a bright spring. No need to go to a pro analyzer because my wardrobe and makeup is screaming bright spring 😂 bright winter colors fit me too! It’s the neutral undertone working 🤣🌸
Absolutely love your videos I watch other videos of other people explaining colour season but you are the one who helped me understand.Don’t stop making videos!!!!
Always assumed I was an autumn or even a winter until I saw that Michelle Dockery is typed as a Bright Spring. I have the same very fair skin with a warm undertone and dark brown hair and eyes.
Same! I've always thought I was a winter because of the snow white coloring, but I noticed that black although wearable is a bit too overwhelming and I can take the brightest winter colors even ones that lean a bit warmer so I consider BS now.
Waiting patiently for the bright winter one.. watching dark winter and bright spring meanwhile to get ideas hahaha your videos are so thorough and concise.
I believed I was a dark autumn just because I am kind of yellow but now I am in doubt if I am a Bright spring. Lots of the characteristics mentioned here fits me. However I don't think I look good wearing some shades of pink, specially pink lipstick
You're probably an Autumn, then, if you can't wear pink lipstick. Pink is usually good for all 3 of the other seasons. You could be a True Autumn instead of a Dark Autumn. Soft Autumn is usually obvious because of the lack of brightness, so you probably aren't soft.
Hahaha I still wear a lot of neutral only and monochrome outfits. I think bc it’s trendy streetwear lately it’s ok but I def have to brighten it up with bright red lips or a bright colored purse
I used to think im a winter or deep autumn bcuz i got dark Brown hair naturally but honestly grey is like one of my worst colors(still love me some silver jewerlies at times tho ) and i look better in gold than silver.i still look good in most colors from winter Palette tho and while i look good in the deep autumn Palette i cannot pull of Brown lipstick like there’s this trend of brown lipstick that i wanted to try but honestly i cannot pull that shit off. I look good in nudes that have more pink or orange in em or bright lipsticks so i think im a bright spring. I love me some nudes and monocromatic outfits every now and then tho
Wow, I really enjoy your videos! Hope to see my season (soft summer🤗) too, but it's still exciting to watch other seasons. You chose great and beautiful examples for outfits. Really great job😁👍
I think I might be a true spring or a true autumn... Can't seem to figure it out yet 😢 I think I like muted colors but I don't necessarily look my best in them, so I'm leaning more towards spring
I was blond-ish as a kid and always have been very pale with light blue eyes. I also coloured my hair blonde once or twice at a late teen. Simply out of habit I tended to tell myself "the first thing I see is light" (Not bright). Only later I realized that "light dominant" Basically looks Scandinavian. So, out if habit I was misjudging my own appearance. I tried different types of colours and felt "nothing displeasing" About wearing bright colours, but as I heard bright colouring is rare, I decided I must be missing something. I also didn't like standing out, so bright colours overwhelmed me psychologically, not my personal colouring though. I got analysed recently as a bright spring with neutral-warm undertone. Man, was I shocked. I was going back and forth between "am I winter? No I'm too light for winter with my brunette hair that I subconsciously perceive as light" "Am I spring? Nah, bright colours suck". 🤦♀️
i’ve always thought poc cannot be other than dark winter or dark autumn (somehow it’s what i’ve always been told and from pictures as well, spring examples tend to be very white). apparently asians can be bright spring too??
Yes! I would say that a lot of POC will fit into winter or autumn types, but there are a few examples of Summer and Spring. I don't think light spring or light summer but I have definitely found soft spring and soft summer examples for these seasons in POC. For Asians, I also think the most common are winter and autumn, but I have definitely seen bright spring examples too, due to the high contrast that the brightness in features creates. I would have to look into trying to find more examples of other spring and summer examples for asian, but due to the usual high contrast of features it might be hard to find.
I am East Asian and got professionally typed in person in korea as a bright spring! My cold back hair vs light skin is cold but my skin tone is warm, both gold and silver look good on me.
The vlogger ASMR twix got professionally typed in person (twice!) and both analyses typed her as summer. So yes, East Asians can be springs or summers. The vlogger Xixiplease (Korean) has a draping vid & was typed as a spring. So dark haired springs & summers exist! (especially if POC)
This is helpful. This video makes a bright spring seem more likely my season, but I’ve always thought I was a winter due to my dark hair. Do you perform color analysis or have a recommendation on who to have do this?
Excellent rundown of the season you’ve made. Also, good news is that men are getting more comfortable with various colours, as I’ve noticed on the street this past spring and summer. So men can get a lot from your videos too. Maybe not the makeup portion though lol.
I got typed by House of Colour as a Blue Spring, which is next to Winter in their system, so I guess it translates to Bright Spring in 12 season colour analysis? I was told I suit the coolest bluest colours in the spring palette but I don’t like blue very much so I don’t know what to do!
Is it possible to be a dark winter AND bright spring? The vibrant jewel tones in both palettes really make me pop, I noticed anything desaturated or grayish make me look exhausted and dirty.
Could u be a bright spring with grey eyes? Also its weird bcs in pretty but every aspect I'm warm toned except my veins which r blue. Am i still a bright spring?
Mikaela ayudaa 😥 no logro descifrar si soy bright spring o dark winter.
Determina tu temperatura (calida o fria) y ahi vas a poder ver si sos winter o spring :)
How about those people having their hue as their tertiary? I myself can't quite distinguish my hue, but do lean dark (value) and clear (chroma). If I may ask where do I fit onto the personal color wheel? Any advices or outfit recommendations would help as well.
You could be a bright winter! It's hard to give advice unless I actually do a proper color analysis. I will keep making videos trying to explain all the concepts of color theory thorougly so everyone can learn and understand!
@@MikaelaCarrizo It is just that maybe I am a warm skin tone bcus of my yellowish undertone but the contradictory is that I fit better with cool toned outfits. But yes i'll consider what you've said and will check, thank you for your insights and I just wanna let you know your videos are very concise and helpful! Tysm
Hi. Some analysts have said that as we age, we may become more muted/ softer. If you were a bright spring before, maybe try the true or light spring palettes - see if the colors suit you better. I use the palettes from Dream Wardrobe.
No! I do have their book and read their blog, I forgot to put sources on the description box but will edit right now and add them as a source, amongst other blogs I read!
@@MikaelaCarrizo no problem. I love their blog and saw the link under one of your videos. I just thought you were the owner for some reason. Great video! I enjoyed it :-)
I am very confused. My eyes are a grey ish blue, my hair is golden honey blonde, my skin is light and pinkish, and I have low contrast. This makes me feel that I could be warm because my hair, but cool due to my eyes and skin. Can someone please help me?
That's a very common misconception. Because pretty much everywhere says that if you have pinkish skin your cool but you still can have a warm undertone (its usually called peach). You could try using pink lipstick and look at what is closer to your skin tone. You could also try watching some video's. I know Your Color Style has something on it.
I find the concept wardrobe references so misleading, they show red haired models (w a warm filtering) in their warm and bright spring, the eyes are showing a Color but they are photoshopped eyes, and moreover they are not representing hair or eye colors that represents people of Color that may be bright springs. (Same goes for all their references, not a fan.) they don’t match the celebrity examples you have included in this video that are Asian or black. I think we should try to tear down the idea that you have to be blonde or redhead to be a spring.
I agree with you. The vlogger Xixiplease (Korean) has a draping vid & she turned out to be a spring. ASMR Twix (also dark haired) is a summer (also has draping vid).
I am planning to talk more about this in a future video very soon! I think that it's easy to show the features and kind of 'exagerate' them to have people understand the concept, but color analysis is more than that. Features matter because they will help you carry different colors, mostly, the depth/value of your features matters. For POC, asians and other ethnicities and mixed race, it will count too BUT, a proper color analysis should be done comparing all the possibilities of colors, dark, light, soft or bright, cool, warm and the in-betweens, the only way to properly tell what colors suit you best is by doing this. A lot of POC and asians will fall into winters and autumns, because of the depth and contrast, having dark eyes and hair will help you carry deep colors, but sometimes, the skin undertone is delicate and, although they can probably pull off dark colors, soft colors will be better, or bright or light. It depends on each person! What I find is that for a lot of POC and asians the range of colors they can wear usually is broader, they can pull off colors that reflect their unique features and skin. I hope this makes sense.
Why don't YOU make videos about fashion for prople who look like you - instead of complaining that this content creator makes videos abou people who look like her! She can use whatever models she wants, in her videos - and this seasonal system was created in the 1980s for and by white people. Just like black people created hairstyles just for them, without considering whetjer they suit white people. Lame to just complain.
@@summerlake356it’s an educational video, there should be more every day average person examples because we’re average everyday people. I don’t think the criticism was unnecessary
Bendiciones! 🤗
Half of the women on thumbnail are not bright springs. Heather Graham probably warm spring, Emma Stone too low contrast for bright spring, Cintia Dicker is true autumn. Redhead in the low row, too low contrast for bright spring. Definetly not a bright season. The 4th blonde in the first row looks like warm spring. Bright springs women have usually naturally dark hair, it's the darkest spring of all springs, like in Rachel Weisz case. Bright spring is way more common in POC. Most of white women are overpowered by bright colors and it's clear on many fashion photos that you showed in the video.
Black or dark brown hair are not part of Spring. Race or ethnicity is irrelevant. According to the links you posted in your description "Deep" is not a characteristic of Spring. You need to reread your own resources because of you are mistaken. A dark complected person can NEVER be a Spring regardless of race or ethnicity. Eyes are the last not the first consideration for seasonal color analysis. A Winter or Autumn can have "sparkly" eyes.

I think this is the perfect one for me. I wear these colors already
yess this is me! Bright glowy peachy makeup, and I've always loved adding pops of purple and turquoise. now I will go for it even more!
Your videos are so in-depth and helpful!🦋
Edit: really appreciate the quality of pictures used
Thank you so much!
Thank you!! So glad they are useful to you and your friends, makes me extremely happy ❤️
I am eager for your extensive video on a True Winter. This is a really interesting series. I can tell that you have worked very hard on these video. Well done ! 👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
AWESOME video. Can you do this same exact thing with more people of color and addressing grey hair. Thanks.

Absolutely love your videos I watch other videos of other people explaining colour season but you are the one who helped me understand.Don’t stop making videos!!!!
Great detail on cours & make up choices;very helpful thanks
So helpful, Would love a video on true/warm spring. Thank you
Always assumed I was an autumn or even a winter until I saw that Michelle Dockery is typed as a Bright Spring.
Very helpful after my professional analysis!
Waiting patiently for the bright winter one.. watching dark winter and bright spring meanwhile to get ideas hahaha your videos are so thorough and concise.
I'm looking forward to warm spring!
I love ❤your channel! Please do a video between differences between light spring and light summer. Thank you!
Hi. If you can't wait for Mikaela's vid (she might be busy), Filoso vlogs has a good vid about those seasons.
Soft Autumn is usually obvious because of the lack of brightness, so you probably aren't soft.
you know there are other types of autumn too. have you looked into that?
Hopefully true spring is next ✨👌
Wow, I really enjoy your videos! Hope to see my season (soft summer🤗) too, but it's still exciting to watch other seasons. You chose great and beautiful examples for outfits. Really great job😁👍
I thought i was bright spring but i may be true spring. can you a video for that next?
I think I might be a true spring or a true autumn... Can't seem to figure it out yet 😢 I think I like muted colors but I don't necessarily look my best in them, so I'm leaning more towards spring
this helped me verify that i typed myself correctly omg yessssss
If you find the bright spring colors too bright, I suggest to use the palettes of true spring or light spring.
Can you do true summer please 🥺🥺🥺??? I love your videos!!
i’ve always thought poc cannot be other than dark winter or dark autumn (somehow it’s what i’ve always been told and from pictures as well, spring examples tend to be very white). apparently asians can be bright spring too??
Thank you!!! Very helpful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🦋
Such a great video! You discribed it really well😄 could you please do a video about light spring? That would really help.
This is helpful. This video makes a bright spring seem more likely my season, but I’ve always thought I was a winter due to my dark hair. Do you perform color analysis or have a recommendation on who to have do this?
Thank you! And yes! I started to do personal color analysis consultations, DM me on instagram or email me!
Can you wear orange? That's a dividing line, since cool seasons can't wear orange well.
Excellent rundown of the season you’ve made.
Also, good news is that men are getting more comfortable with various colours, as I’ve noticed on the street this past spring and summer. So men can get a lot from your videos too. Maybe not the makeup portion though lol.
Yes! Although my videos are targeted to women, it's the same concept for men!!
I got typed by House of Colour as a Blue Spring, which is next to Winter in their system, so I guess it translates to Bright Spring in 12 season colour analysis? I was told I suit the coolest bluest colours in the spring palette but I don’t like blue very much so I don’t know what to do!
Your makeup colors look fantastic! 👌💄
Thank you so much 🙂
I feel like in the middle of Bright Spring and Dark Winter
Very well explained, thank you.
Waiting for trueeee
I’m glad to know I’ve been gravitating to the colors that look best on me!
Hope you’ll do true autumn next!!!
Could you do true spring please?? Im not sure if im a bright or a true spring🙏🙏🙏🥴
can i be a bright spring if i have high contrast, slightly warmer undertone, but have really dark brown eyes?
no
@@tigroussibirak8006 liar
Is it possible to be a dark winter AND bright spring? The vibrant jewel tones in both palettes really make me pop, I noticed anything desaturated or grayish make me look exhausted and dirty.
i have a neutral undertone and dont like gold. can i be a bright spring still?
I need help i cant tell if im a dark autumn or a bright spring!!!
but wait, some of these celebrity examples like Emma Stone have cool toned skin, is this possible for a bright spring?
Emma Stone is a natural blonde - she dyes her hair red (she's said it in interviews). She's probably a spring or summer (maybe LSp or LSu).
Could u be a bright spring with grey eyes? Also its weird bcs in pretty but every aspect I'm warm toned except my veins which r blue. Am i still a bright spring?
I’ve watched every video today and I think I am all of them but the blonde hair ones! Sheesh!😅
Mikaela ayudaa 😥 no logro descifrar si soy bright spring o dark winter.
Determina tu temperatura (calida o fria) y ahi vas a poder ver si sos winter o spring :)
I wish this also applied for women of color . It would have been helpful.
I suspect that I'm a bright spring but I tend to wear pastels or muted colours. Please help😅
But if I bleach my hair blonde my contrast becomes low, am I still a bright spring? Or should I shop the true spring/light spring colors?
Can I be right in the middle of bright spring and bright winter? I just can't figure out which one I am...
Tysm
Can hazel eyes be a bright spring? If they are bright and have a sunburst pattern
yes
How can i buy the color chart at 3 minutes? Thanks
What happens when a Bright Spring goes grey, and develops a grey ring around their golden brown iris? Me @ 66yrs.
Hi. Some analysts have said that as we age, we may become more muted/ softer. If you were a bright spring before, maybe try the true or light spring palettes - see if the colors suit you better. I use the palettes from Dream Wardrobe.
There is a reason that nude lip colors basically make me look sickly!
Rose gold looks best on me out of all the metals.
I don't know if I'm bright spring or bright winter as I feel like I have neutral undertone...
What of you land in the middle of all 3 scales?
This is amazing but I still don’t know what I am 😭
What do you mean can't wear neutrals? :c
Wait so dark skinned people can’t be bright spring? I was typed bright spring. But my skin is very saturated.
Hi, yes you can be a spring, accdg to Cocoa Styling. Check out her vids.
At 9:30, I hate the look on the right. It looks garish and wrong. The look on the left looks harmonious.
Or bright spring because I know I have high contrast
Are you the writer of The Concept Wardrobe
No! I do have their book and read their blog, I forgot to put sources on the description box but will edit right now and add them as a source, amongst other blogs I read!

Rachel Weisz.

i actually think rachel weisz looks much better and more polished on the photo on the left
I totally agree.
She looks beautiful in both picture but I agree with you, the make up on the left is better for her.
I am very confused. My eyes are a grey ish blue, my hair is golden honey blonde, my skin is light and pinkish, and I have low contrast. This makes me feel that I could be warm because my hair, but cool due to my eyes and skin. Can someone please help me?
Is your skin cool pink or warm pink?
@@elliettelune9275 hmmm… I don’t know. I guess I just assumed that pink is a cool tone. Can you tell me how to distinguish if it’s warm or cool?
That's a very common misconception. Because pretty much everywhere says that if you have pinkish skin your cool but you still can have a warm undertone (its usually called peach). You could try using pink lipstick and look at what is closer to your skin tone. You could also try watching some video's. I know Your Color Style has something on it.
Its also possible that your neutral. And I think in one of her videos Merriam Styles said that conflicting features can mean that your soft.
@@elliettelune9275 thank you so much for your advice! This will help since I was ruling out being warm!!
High contrast doesn't look good on Kibbe Soft Classic body types who are Bright Spring.
Agreed. I have the exact same problem!!
My body type is Soft Natural and my essences is natural, classic and Ingenue - I'm struggling with the same😅 how do you handle this problem?
@@anoukpenna1048 monochromatic look or similar colours
What's your seasonal type??
@@kitty_s23456 asmrtwix got winter
Why don't YOU make videos about fashion for prople who look like you - instead of complaining that this content creator makes videos abou people who look like her! She can use whatever models she wants, in her videos - and this seasonal system was created in the 1980s for and by white people. Just like black people created hairstyles just for them, without considering whetjer they suit white people. Lame to just complain.
@@summerlake356it’s an educational video, there should be more every day average person examples because we’re average everyday people. I don’t think the criticism was unnecessary
Bendiciones! 🤗
Are you repeating other youtube info?? I'm shocked
My eyes are slate grey, so I guess I'm out.
I feel like the lady is reading this and she is so boring. I can go online and read this myself.
Your channel is amazing and so insightful! Please don’t stop what you’re doing!🙏🥹
Thank you! I won’t!
damn my fav looks are all monochrome and beige neutrals… 🥲
Can you be both a bright spring and muted autumn?
