Our teacher retired at the end of first grade. The next year a new girl came to the class, and a few months later our old teacher came to visit us. A lot of kids were very emotional and then the new kid started to sob. I didn't know Amanda either, but my powers of intuition tell me that Amanda was a beautiful soul who had no bad in her and would have grown up to cure cancer. This video is a great example of how, when the heart is open, empathy can become so strong that not even reality can stop it.

I'm so sad for this reporter and his friendship with Amanda that now could never be. You guys don't understand how this has affected me. I could totally picture Amanda and the reporter painting a room together and then playfully splashing paint on each other, going to the park and buying ice cream cones from a stand and laughing at literally nothing. The trauma of knowing that this will never come to fruition has me all sorts of depressed. I'm in therapy. I've started a Go Fund Me for my medical bills and relaxation travels.
