Sensei, why is なつとう pronounced as nattou? Is it a particle that's why? I have never studied particles so sorry 😔
Thanks for your comment. It's not particle. Its small つsound.
If you look closely, you'll see that the tsu in なっと is smaller than つ. It's called chisai tsu. Same with ょ and よ. It modifies the previous sound.
