Pulse Nightclub massacre laid out in detailed timeline of events

- Florida State Attorney Aramis Ayala confimred on Feb. 13 that of the more than 400 bullets shot during the attack on Orlando's Pulse Nightclub in June 2016, none fired by police officials resulted in fatalities or injuries as a result of the response to the attack.
Officials provided a detail account of the mass shooting, in which Omar Mateen shot and killed 49 people.
The State Attorney's Office provided a specific timeline of events, including how Mateen spent more than three hours "Googling" things on his phone as he his out in one of the club's bathrooms.

This is real my niece died in this shooting. Where do y’all get these cockamamie stories from. I went to the hospital watched her die and saw the casket lowered in the grave and covered with dirt. I wish like hell it was not real I miss my baby girl.

My heart breaks for every victim and every loved one. Things like this should never happen. The only person I have no pity for is the shooter who was a sick and hateful subhuman. Rest In Peace to the 49 lives taken too soon.

I think I might have met Omar Mateen in KSUPY in Riyadh.There was a discussion about shooting homosexual people. He lived near where I lived in Stuart, Florida. He was on pilgrimage to Mecca or Medina. That was what I was told, anyway, before we met, if that was him. Definitely he was told to shoot them dead. Homosexuality is prohibited in the KSA. It was extremely unusual to raise that subject, but raised it was and the penalty was declared. I did not give it any thought when it was over with. I forgot about it. Police might have used a half-wit, pulse nightclub goer to make completely false allegations against an innocent person in Stuart, Martin County, Florida, and that was some time before the attack in Orlando. I was on a forum. There was a discussion about launching an attack in Orlando. It turned to nightclubs. When it turned to exactly which type of club to attack I got off the forum and stayed off.
So let me get this right; a sicko walks into a nightclub and starts shooting and we're judging the response to that. I just want to make sure I am understanding this press conference. It's okay to barge into a club and start mowing people down, but we have to make sure that our officers didn't prematurely respond.!
Yeah judging the response, or lack thereof. There's due diligence and then there's cowardice. There's a fine line and we've seen numerous times now that police officers have tended to be cowards more often than not.
If 3 hours is premature to you…..they could’ve walked through the front door when the shooter was in the bathroom, they had the info about the shooter and they even tried to reason with him on the phone…they knew exactly where he was and how many shooters there were…..so they could’ve walked right on in and quietly headed toward the bathroom, but they didn’t, instead they waited multiple hours “to properly respond”……if that was children they wouldn’t have waite……oh wait, uvalde, my bad, so apparently the police are incompetent in multiple states and situations…..and then they bust through a wall into the room DIRECTLY where the shooter was, literally putting themselves in danger when they couldve snuck up on him, and then they had a full blown shoot out right next to a group of innocent civilians and they failed to tell the truth that some of their “friendly fire” killed or injured some of those ppl. The police messed up once again, even with active shooter training, knowing they have to preserve life.

"Exiting deceased" prolly means dragged/DOA/mortal injury cases, entered alive, left dead or about to die.
"Entered firing both weapons" Does not mean at the same time. Fired one until clip was out, switched to other. Entered firing without a pause, using 2 guns.
This guy. Why do anything to those people? What did they ever do to him? It's wrong to hurt or kill innocent people. If there are those who pushed him too far, they have to learn that there are consequences. But these people are in no way responsible for what happened and after all, it was a stupid reason anyway. It sounds like even the lady giving this presentation finds it really hard to believe. 200 rounds fired by the shooter and dozens of people killed but 200 rounds fired by police and miraculously nobody is hurt? Incredible.

I seen the documentary on this and am quite pissed that the victims are bashing the police for doing the same exact thing they did. They hid and waited. They did NOT know who the shooter was. Any one of you could have been that shooter. To hear you disrespecting them, makes me less remorseful for you victims. The cops did their job how they were trained, and shame on you for furthering the divide between us and the blue.
