    The first really low note near the end it's a Chest G#1, and at the end it was a C2 - F1 slide, Chest C2 and Subarmonic F1. :)

    The disembodied heads are in "head voice." I really liked his 'Twas The Night Before Christmas reading.

      not all the heads are in head voice, one or two are often in a smooth higher chest range

    It must be nice to have a voice so low, you can literally wake the dead. Whenever you think he has hit a note as low as humanly possible, he then goes even lower.

    30,000 subs by the end of the year? You passed that, Brad. Congrats. Oh, and I bet that Emily would agree with me. It is worse now that he is singing more, on his own. But with his voice, I'd listen to him sing a phone book. LMAO! Thanks for sharing.

    That is the voice of Thurl Ravenscroft. Geoff does use his voice but I’m not sure at what point it starts. Thurl did The Grinch, Tony The Tiger, multiple voices for Disney and barbershop quartets plus tons more!

    I am saying it. Being called a 5 Octave singer is selling these singers short. Castellucci is one of them. They sing 5 Octaves, minimum. And OFTEN use 6 different Octaves. The videos PROOF it. Look up "Tim Foust Vocal Range G0 - A5" That is 6 different Octaves.A0 and B0 are the lowest on a 88 key piano. They are amazing. (IMO that is)

    • @quinism1136
      @quinism1136 3 года назад +1

      It depends on what you define as range. Geoff has about a 4 octave natural range but can get a bit lower and higher using other techniques.

    • @donnilloyd1355
      @donnilloyd1355 3 года назад +1

      @@quinism1136 Agreed, somewhat. Naturally is YOUR definition. Vocal Range does not Limit how the Octaves are reached. If a person reaches 6 Octaves using different techniques, they still reach 6 Octaves. In my opinion.

    I honestly had no idea low notes like those are actual sounds some people can make. I never went looking for 1st octave singing. Based on the search results many people didn't besides me. Something extremely primal about those sounds. What animal can even come close to that? Male lion? Nah.

    • @RustyDust101
      @RustyDust101 3 года назад +1

      Elephants, hippos, rhinos, crocodiles, alligators. Many of them can create extremely low sounds in the 2-5 Hertz range. Humans can't hear these, but do recognize it when their diaphragm starts to vibrate. Many humans consider this to be either threatening, or discomforting. This is the infra-sound range that transmits better through solids than through air.

    • @obe22099
      @obe22099 3 года назад

      @@RustyDust101 Thanks for the info. I heard bass vocalists probably went off the keyboard because it was inaudible. People still reacted to it i assume because the sound system amplified it. Audio and visual distortions.
