    Like so many people, I’ve struggled to find a system that works for me. I think this will work well! I’ve come to realize that writing things in two places, such as a monthly calendar and then again on the daily page, works for me, too.

    Love your process. As many times I’ve tried to read GTD, it has not clicked for me. Thank you for breaking it down so,what in layman’s language.

    Have really enjoyed your videos! I have toyed with the idea of going back to a standard size and a traveler’s notebook this year and then for 2020, even though I’m so in love with my A5 folio. Paper Penguin Co is also a favorite of mine and I’ve always loved how they have that standard size Tomoe River Paper notebook!!

      Thank you! A5 is so roomy - I just ordered a TRP in that size for homeschool : ) Have a happy 2020!

    Really love your set up! I am trying to mirror it in 2020 :). Do you have an end of year migration process?

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! I have a few sticky notes behind December 2019 that contain 2020 dates. Those will be migrated into my 2020 month on two pages from Paper + Cats. Nothing else needs to be migrated, as I keep using the dot grid with daily/weekly pages until I fill it up. Any new goals for 2020 will be reflected in my tracking insert. No migration beyond what I do to set it up monthly anyway. I do have have a video on when I migrate into a new dot grid notebook ruclips.net/video/tM9Unyo7DN8/видео.html

    Saw the cardboardy paper at 11:16, I was just wondering if you need a thicker page so that your pen won't ghost to the following pages?

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  4 года назад

      Hey Angela! This is blotting paper. It allows my to close my notebook before the ink is completely dry. Without it, my ink would smudge. It does not prevent ghosting. It is easy to cut to size and lasts a very long time. www.gouletpens.com/products/herbin-ink-blotting-paper-full-sheets-white

    many 'aha!' moments here and I also watched your daily planning video. NOW I can go back to bullet journaling in a TN. I LOVE the standard size and I will be getting my Tomoe River inserts as soon as I finish this note. Also I love 'getting things done' and how you designed your 'trigger pages' so to speak is brilliant!! Thanks for the two videos I have watched so far. I made some big expensive mistakes in the inserts I ordered for 2020 and TRpaper is what is missing also. So ....just WOW. It's only the middle of February so I can re-purpose later and get on with it today!!

    I am not done watching but I had to pause and write genius! I think setting up the framework before doing my review would prevent the long lists I always find myself writing! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am so going to try this from now on because I think it’s going to be a serious game changer. Okay back to watching!

    I always love to watch your setup! If a task from last weeks review isn’t “important “ do you still migrate to Monday or do you continue to look at last week everyday of the following week so you’re not just making another list?

    • @InkImperfections
      @InkImperfections  5 лет назад +2

      No, I definitely do not continue to review the past week. I only review the current week's pages at the end of the day. I don't go back into the previous week looking for unfinished tasks once the weekly review is completed. If the task was important, I move it to the current week. If it's not important, I decided if I actually need to complete it. If it needs to be done soon but no specific deadline, I add it to that bottom section under the days of the week on the weekly overview page which I check daily. I hope that helps!
