Excellent job Ms. Kimberley. I live in Humboldt County, CA and we had snow last night. First time in about 8 years. I bought some Grow Big Roses due to your recommendation. Our rose society has never heard of it and they are so curious. Thank you, take care.
Great job. When you said it was 50 degrees and you didn't have a windbreaker or sweatshirt on, I thought, what a trooper! I stepped outside yesterday when it was 58 and I was so cold. I know I'll warm up as I get moving. I live is So. Cal, so I guess it's what we are used too! Thank you for another helpful video.
Hi Kim, This is another great video. Looking at you in this video it seemed that we should wear full sleeve clothes while moving the roses just to avoid the love bites as much as possible. It will help to cover our skin to protect from scratches.😊
NICE ! Pretty soon I need to perk up my climbers, too. Here in PNW zone 8b we have another cold spell, temperature drops to low 20's at nights, low 40"s during days with occasional sun...also occasional snow, so strange. I have to cover up everything AGAIN because i just hard pruned everything last week, and the peony shoots just emerged. Not much I can do out in the garden at this moment so I particularly enjoy your videos now. So much fun watching and learning how other people care for their yard. It's really funny the way people react to "love bites." I usually mumble ow,ow,ow,ow,ow then *^$!@# then have a serious talk with the roses that try to poke me...🤭
Hi Kimberley! thanks for this very informative video. we're having a wild late winter/early spring here in KY 6B, and you inspired me to hurry up and shuffle some roses around while they are still somewhat dormant! Can't wait to see your garden start waking up and also to see what you're adding ito your garden this year! Did i tell you that with my Heirloom gift card (that i won from your giveaway ) I got Bliss? I thought you'd be proud of my choice as I know you love Bliss and that way when she's blooming I can think of my internet rose geek friend. 🤗
I have to move a rose with about ten four-metre long shoots (canes) soon, I am going to ask at least one person to do it with me. I do not want to cut it back because I suppose it is a rambler which flowers on old wood. I do not remember where the cutting was from :-)
In one of your videos with Jason Fraser he said it is a good idea not to prune on newly transplanted roses. Did you forget or disagree with that advice?
I pruned my roses, but another prickly shrub and some conifers. So focused on pruning I didn't think about 'love bites'. Later I saw my arms were covered with scratches. All done for love is so true. Good lesson on tying a climber (very intimidating🫣)
Nice job, will you show us all what these climbing roses look like once they leaf out and have flowers on them.

Nice video. Hope you enjoyed the hot weather today. Got to 75 in my area.
Спасибо за видео.

@@TheRoseGeek Thanks a lot!
Hi Kim, Do you use Felco pruner to prune your roses, especially in Spring and summer? I need to buy a good pruner. Please recommend one. 😊
Forgot to ask, about how long ago did you plant the first rose you transplanted? Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it. Thanks
My garden soil is sandy loam with lots of small and medium sized rocks. What should I use as soil conditioner for my native soil?
@@TheRoseGeek Thank you!

I have to reassure my friends & family that the cuts on my arms are "love bites" from my roses. 😅
