At the wild canned fish store duh
I keep cans of spam in a big out bag. As well as instant mash potatoes. Save the cans for things like carrying coals or makeshift cups

@@sirich7751 when prepping a survival kit always make sure you dip at least a dozen matches in hot wax and that will water proof them. Save them for situations where you really need them

Maybe I am not understanding the concept behind that burner, but I was always taught that, no matter what, if you set a fire in the wild, you clear all debris around it, so that nothing can catch fire around the fire. Doesn't matter if it's in a can, a pan, or anything else. Clear around the fire before lighting it! No debris!

@johngutwald8454 almost anything is less aromatic than fish which we know is one of bear's favorite foods. I have also read that in bear country you should cook at least a couple of hundred yards from your campsite so there are no food smells to attract them to your campsight.
@@richardelliott9511 If you're a real dyed in the wool camper that tries real hard to be isolated in bear country you would have to know not to spread anything that a bear would be attracted to that kinda means any and everything. I use to try camping the last time I was camping was 45 years ago went to watch the NHRA drag racing Brainerd Minnesota I felt safe because of the size of the crowd 20,000 at least.
There aren't any Bears in my country so I can't relate

Not really a fire its in a container and it wouldnt just catch that stuff on fire and hes cooking food so the fire from the tin wouldnt go unsupervised
@@killas6097One hot ember falls and catches and fires get out of control EXTREMELY fast. Trust me i learned the hard way. We had yellow ish green grass on a dry day and i forgot to clean the area around my fire pit and a small wind gust hit and started a small fire next to the fire put with was growing and spreading rapidly and there was also about 3-4 more hot spots around the yard that caught anywhere from 5 mins to 1 hour after that gust. Hes in the woods with no water hose. one wind gust and hes fucked
@killas6097 doesn't matter, anything can and will burn around in seconds. Shrubs or leaves that accidently get blown onto or kicked up besides the fire will set the ground a blaze. If you're going out your way to show people a technique. Do it properly and still get your clicks.

I always set a fire in a dry forest floor, guaranteed to wake up nice and warm the next day.

No offense, but that grass is tinder dry, he should have dug away the grass down to dirt ,then started the fire in the can on the dirt. Being fish oil, doesn't mean it won't send off a spark or two, and that is all it takes to start a forest fire!! He could also find a big rock or rock to build the fire on!! Again, no offense, I've spent a lot of time in the bush camping, and you always need to be aware of sparks and also keeping food up high so bears and other animals won't be tempted to come get it!!!

That would require the sardines to be in vegetable oil in the first place, for if your canned fish is in saline water (yes, there is canned food in plain water), you get the idea.
People in prison do that to cook. One of the first things I learned in there was a toilet paper fire starter. Toilet roll if prepared properly will burn about 2 hours

@@Nutella_GG кроме шпрот - 99.9% консерв (за исключением тех что в томате) - не в масле а "с добавлением масла". Гадость. Обман в масштабах страны. При СССР консервы были именно в масле. Сейчас к примеру сардины в масле, как были в СССР - можно купить лишь за границей. В португалии к примеру. Я уж молчу что в изолированном от мира СССР шпроты были в " прованском" масле, т. е. в оливковом. Просто деградация полным ходим
