I love this album; I don't get the dislike for this album. It's also very high on my list as well. solid solid album that I go back to over and over again!
Glad to see someone else feels the same way about this album as I do. It gets unfairly maligned but I think it was good album. No matter what they done wouldve been criticsized just like the Stones were with every release past the early 80's. Some complain that it's not like their old stuff, while others claim the opposite.
The new Stones CD is great!
I LIKE THIS ALBUM BETTER THAN MONSTER
It was better than that brickwalled coaster of a CD "Monster" that's for sure. Still some garbage on this as well but "Yes I know (Nobody's Perfect)" saves the day on here.
You’ve ranked the last two albums a lot higher than most. They’re not bad but for me they’ve still among their worst few albums
Yeah I only like 4 songs from each of them.
Different tastes. Ive been a kiss fan since the '70s. These two albums, especially monster. Are both much better, in my opinion, than the Dynasty/ Unmasked/ Elder " lost" period. Also like them better than Animalize, Crazy Nights Hot In The Shade, and Psycho Circus.
Saw that Aerosmith tour in Boston. Very stripped down.

What would it be?
A number of the songs are fine, but generally not a great album. I would rank this 20th as Monster is the better album of the two. A time when Kiss were more of a Brand rather than a Band.
A real dud, some magazine said it was great and then we bought it and thought how can they say it’s great haha. A few good songs and that’s about it.
“All for the glory” has some really silly lyrics. Like something that would be written for a fictitious band on a sitcom. lol. Horrible cover on this one, too. But some ok songs. I didn’t feel like it nailed that classic Kiss sound that it was going for, but some ok songs and I liked it enough when it came out.
Kinda disappointed to see Sonic Boom below Monster. I see monster as an inferior version of Sonic Boom. No songs survived the album tour and it honestly sounds rushed, unpolished.
I prefer Monster also, albeit slightly. So does Paul Stanley, for what it’s worth
I guess everyone has their own tastes. For me, Monster is much better than Sonic Boom. It has more energy and punch, better riffs and guitar solos, and to me, what a kiss album should sound like

Sonic Boom was a big letdown. An 11 year wait for a few good tracks and a bunch of mediocre leftovers.
