    Tried them in store and I was very impressed by the sound stage being so wide, noise cancellation was great, the only drawback was comfort, they were way too heavy for me

    Finally an honest and sincere review of these headphones. MKBHD trashed these since they were not an apple product, since we all know he's an apple fanboy and very bias in his reviews!

      Thank you, man. MKBHD definitely has his preference (just like everyone) but I don’t think he’s necessarily biased. I felt that he was not interested in the Dysons at all and that’s ok.

    I enjoyed your review. Between PX 8 and Dyson On Trac as you have them, which one do you recommend, or which one do you prefer in terms of sound quality? Thanks

      I still like the PX8 for sound by a lot. The OnTrac has better sound transparency and a really interesting customizable design.

    Hi, how does it work if I need often to switch between multiple devices? Let’s say I want to use this headphones with my phone when I’m going on a walk with a dog, then connect to my iPad when I’m back and switch to my work laptop when somebody call me. At this moment I’m using cheap cable headphones with usb-c adapter, so it’s easy plug out and plug in. I’m worried that with dyson zone this will not be that easy…

    • @MichaelSoledad
      @MichaelSoledad  2 месяца назад +1

      Unfortunately it does not support multi device connection. Something I only realized after a while since I only use this with my phone. Meaning you can pair it to multiple devices but you would have to manually to connect every time you switch to a different device

  • @LapoCalamandrei
    @LapoCalamandrei 26 дней назад

    No. No hires codec on most phones (available only on chinese brands) meaning subpar audio quality, no cable connection (w/o a separate adapter) are a HUGE drawback with that price tag. I don't even care about not having multilink.

      So what you’re saying is that the OnTracs are not for audiophiles. Yes, you are correct.

    They look cool but no where near as good as offers from bowers & Wilkins, bang & olufsen, focal, mark levinson or any high fidelity pair of headphones
    I tried these out in the store and was underwhelmed to say the least
    I have been using the 799 focal bathys as my daily driver and pretty much nothing besides the mark levinson 5909 and bang & olufsen h100 can beat it's sound stage and quality
    Dyson should stick with vacuums just like apple they have no clue on how to built a pair of headphones
    They just "suck" for the price they charge, i would say the sound on par with sony or a bose
    To much base, terrible mid response and Muffled highs

    • @MichaelSoledad
      @MichaelSoledad  4 месяца назад +3

      Your hearing is definitely much more refined than mine as I could not justify spending more than my PX8 just yet. However I think they sound better than any Bose I’ve tried so far (haven’t tried the latest from Sony but I’m assuming they’re close).
      I don’t want to discount Dyson or Apple from making headphones. I think they’re on the right path. Besides, we also know that most of the people who buy them may not be as passionate about sound quality as audiophiles.
      Thanks for the input!

    • @Liam.geeraerts
      @Liam.geeraerts 4 месяца назад +2

      @MichaelSoledad agreed! Congratulations on the px8, magnificent pair of headphones
      I think the reason why everything sounds as muffled is partly because I own many different power driven headphones and speakers
      It's a whole different experience, but we have to be honest that for 500 almost 600 they don't sound like a pair of headphones in that price class

      Not a sponsored post. Bought these myself and yes I happen to like them. I don’t think they are worth $500 the same way I don’t think the AirPod Max do. But I like them for what they are and I think the sound transparency is pretty good.

    I returned mine, the ANC, Build, comfort and all that was great, but the sound wasnt impressive for the price
    sounds lifeless, bass wasnt there
    Cheaper pairs like the Soundcore Q45, Space One Pro (My favorite pair atm), Cleer Alpha, or Edifier WH950NB, All honestly sounded better and more immersive to my ears than the Dyson did
    A few other reviewers and redditors also agreed that the sound wasnt all there even when using LHDC audio
    they seem super overpriced for the sound to be super underwhelming, i guess dyson put all the money into build and ANC

      Dyson products are definitely expensive. I never think of value per dollar with them even when it comes to their vacuums. But at the same time I'm glad they're competing in this space because it makes it a lot more interesting and they do make interesting products. I'm super curious about the Space One Pro. Might have to check it out so thank you for recommending those!

    • @WaldemarPress
      @WaldemarPress 26 дней назад

      I find the sound of the Space One Pro nothing special, perhaps better balanced than the Space One. I think the sound of the Dyson is very pleasant, with very good bass and good detail separation. I'm torn between the PX8 and the Dyson.

      Yes I agree with Flossy Carter's review and had returned mine as well. Design is good with interchangeable ears pads and outer caps, ANC is good and battery life super BUT the sound quality is just . Flossy was right they should just stick to vacuum cleaners or maybe you need one to operate simultaneously so that the headphone will sound better.😂

      @Saaurier 3 месяца назад +1

      @@jrtoyman14 how would they sound bad? They have the same drivers as the zone's, same codec, and same tuning. From what I've seen, it looks like there's better channel matching too. This plus it being very close to Harman OE 2018 means that it WILL sound good lol, much better than most other consumer Bluetooth headphones.
