So awesome ! Reminds me of when I was a young man in my 20’s ! I had a 53’ rigid panhead . 6 - volt , kick only , chopper with a 16” overstock California springer front end . It was ( out of 13 ) along with my 1981 “ Sturgis “ , ride with a primary belt drive . I never DID understand how SO many old school Vietnam Vet types SUCCESSFULLY installed primary belts - but The Motor Company failed at it - and THEN never hired an engineer to actually DO IT CORRECTLY ! A total “ head shaker “ for me my entire adult life … Anyway , awesome build , and the end with the friends all pushing the bro down the street to jump start it ( no trolls please ) actually brought me to tears … I’m 63 and can’t ride much because of my (5) spinal fusions , but it really brought back memories because you just never really “ see “ friends doing things like that - like I used to . Owning a Harley back in the 1970’s and early 1980’s was special on many levels . If you were on the side of the road , for example , no self respecting rider of ANY brand would fail to at least pull over and offer to help - or go FIND A PAY PHONE and call a friend of YOURS and come get you in a pickup or trailer … Miss those days gone by , and the brotherhood of old school motorcycle riders back then ! Peace ☮️
Man this puts the fire back under me to get back to my build... 2 years in the making already and still a ways to go. I gotta put my evo engine back together and paint the bike and a LOT of little things. Sharp bike man. I LOVE it
Gorgeous bike!! I love the old school styling, and the white and blue paint job!! I love what y'all are doing at your shop: keep it up!! I'm having an Easy Rider Captain America tribute bike built, and it's nearly finished. Can't wait!!
Oh wow ! I have a “ page “ out of a recent Easyriders magazine stapled to my garage wall - advertising for such a prize ! Could you possibly be a fortunate man having a “ Denver’s Choppers “ bike commissioned to be built ?
I'd not have thought of doing a Harley like that, it's stylish with the striping on the tank, for me it brings to mind drum and bass album covers, jazz music and nice trainers.

Very nice sled, sir! I'm in the process of converting my apehanger kickstart belt drive fatbob 79 shovel into an electric start sporty tank drag barhopper. 66 years is long enuff to kick em!
Yeah - I can RELATE ! I’m 63 in June ; I’ve had (2) knee surgeries , myself . Before I bought my last ride , a new Low Rider , I spent 5 previous years on a 1983 FXWG Wide Glide . It , of course had both the kicker , and “electric boot” . After it warmed up - I would always kick it over . Especially leaving a bar ! Not to brag ( or complain ) I had to kick it with my left foot ! My right knee was the most torn up between the two - so I taught myself how to use my left leg . Anyway , I hope I didn’t put you to sleep with my “ memory lane “ back - in - the day story .., Lol 😂 Peace ☮️

Looking into attempting a build like this. Where did you get most your parts? Was this a kit? OEM? used/eBay? What frame did you use?
Most of the parts are from the 80s Original Equipment and the frame is a jammers cycle frame.
There’s some odds and ends from Lowbrows customs
@@hardtailgarage6938 sweet man, so cool you got original stuff on there. Thanks for the reply

It’s a Denver Choppers frame. 2 up 38 degree rake 4 inch stretch.

How much does it cost (roughly) to build a bike like this?
If you were to build it yourself anywhere from 10k-12k.

We have built them anywhere from 14k to 17k depending on a number of factors.
