One of the most electrifying and exciting players to ever play the game, I have to be honest there isn't a whole lot of current players today that are on the level of Steve Francis. There is a few, but not a lot collegiately and professionally the level of talent most of the players possess these days is at in all time low, basketball games these days are not as exciting as they used to be before.
the closest thing to him would be Allen Iversen I'd say, regarding his cross-overs, but man, those dunks, his "electricity" I think Westbrook somewhat somehow reminds that game of his. Hope he's getting well
There was or is not One Guard Steve Frances height that could Fly & Dunk on Any Big man or anyone like Frances could, Frances & Rayford Alston were similar in Ball handling skills, But Steve is One of the Greatest NBA Players of his Era.
Great video. I always felt The Franchise was potentially the most talented Point Guard that ever played in the league. I wish his career could’ve gone better, but at his best, he was a force to be reckoned with.
little guy dunks like a mad man, one of the most exciting players to watch. Not at all the best team player or defender but he can straight up ball like some of the best. He is Westbrook before Westbrook.
Man Francis is one of the most explosive PG in the history of the NBA. Derrick Rose is amazingly athletic but his vertical is 40" while Francis is up to 43". That's is just insane the way he just dunks on whoever he wants.
Him and AI were crossover kings and also Tim Hardaway. Tim Hardaway was more originality, AI was quickness and effectiveness, while Steve had variety in his crossover game.
Sorry to say this but he is not better than Westbrook better than all rose combine though Different play styles Westbrook doesn't wanna get by you he wanna dunk on you Steve wanna have ankles broken different
Thank you for this video! Very well done, vid quality wasn't shot with a carrot and music didn't take away from the action but definitely complimented it and followed his exciting basketball personality. STEVIE FRANCHISE!!!
Damnnnn Stevie Franchise was Siiiiiiiiiick!!!! Player closest to him today I'd say is D-Rose or Westbrook, but Westbrook didnt have the handles Stevie had
At 1min in the magic lay up was a year before or the year he went to NY and his career was done...proof he was still the man...the league just wanted him out.......just like AI on detroit....he still had it but they messed with his mins and took his passion
@BlueEyedSmurf I have not taken it as an offense, calmly. My translator Ingles-español translates and confuses terms, because it is not the first time that happens. Thank you for thinking.
nope, they are shaking guys, and he is the one doesnt get a big advantage after crossover. He has some moments, but if you do 100 times you will succed once. Anyway one of the most fun players to watch
His cross over looks good but it doesn't create a big impact to the defense. If you observe, the defense of the players are still there even if he made a good crossover. Unlike Allen Iverson, CP3, etc.... just saying...
Stevie Franchise, Allen Iverson and Baron Davis were the forerunners for Westbrook, Rose and Lillard.
Good observation. And analysis.
Kevin Johnson robert pact dryl armstrong
@@kadarbraxton4039 hey KJ very underrated look t those matchup against the glove and he got his he could draw fouls and beat u at the free throw line
Faaaacts i said this on Facebook few months ago
Dont forget tryone lue
So underated crosses like AI dunks like vince carter

Best of all time
@Cyrilltreygod: Warriors fan since 2015 iverson was clearly better than Westbrook or Steve Francis
Dam I miss watching Franchise play, J-Will, AI, T-Mac, and Vinsanity were my favorites back then
Forgot to mention Kobe, and Shaq
+Anthony Woods My top 5 to watch...really
***** I miss all that man, now the NBA is soft now
Steve is my dad and t Mac is my uncle
lol girl stop. Terry is yo uncle lol
1:27 that self alley oop in mid-air in game dunk, no one does that now
Francis and Cutino were one the premier backcourts in the league
One of the most underrated player! The amazing franchise!!!
Nice footage!!! Extremely gifted player. Really wish he could've had some longevity. God bless him wish him well.
Steve Francis was Westbrook before Westbrook... Before Derrick Rose was Rose... A true athlete who had incredible ball skills to match...
Agree the 1st generation of the Explosively athletic little man
i know right how people forget how good this man was still one of my favorites nba live 02
+johnny blaze aint no doubt
Except Steve can shake and bake smooth
I admire him a lot.. miss him.. he's the reason why i loved playing basketball :)
They never talk about Steve and he was amazing on the court just to many injuries
One of my top ten favorite point guards of all time! P
vince carter tmac iverson and steve francis were electrifying its basically art
Westbrook and rose may dunk like Francis but in terms of ball handing I have to give Steve the nodd his crossover was quick as hell
Irving and Curry are much better ball handlers, that's just reality
RahulPresentsKobe he didn't say better , Francis crossover was faster but I would say rose and Irving might be just as fast or quicker
bryan johnson they are
@@RahulPresentsKobe I wouldn't be so quick to say better. Maybe just as good.....
@@RahulPresentsKobe I don’t think those two were brought in the conversation bro.
Stevie Franchise! 💪
There was or is not One Guard Steve Frances height that could Fly & Dunk on Any Big man or anyone like Frances could, Frances & Rayford Alston were similar in Ball handling skills, But Steve is One of the Greatest NBA Players of his Era.
Dennis Smith will be doing this
Best Francis Mix Ever!!!
Great video. I always felt The Franchise was potentially the most talented Point Guard that ever played in the league. I wish his career could’ve gone better, but at his best, he was a force to be reckoned with.

Watching the NBA in the 2000s was the best thing ever, when iverson Kobe Vince McGrady francis Jason Richardson and Bibby ruled the league.
Miss them days franchise
Sensational moves..so intense..ELECTRIFIED!
My favourite player of all time.
100
Facts.... I was hurt when Houston traded him and Cuttino...
Back when the rockets appeared on channel 20 back when I was in elementary school.
hell yeah lol
Hell yeah bro!! I use to love the intro music playing lol. Boom boom Houston boom boom Rockets lol
@@Will-fq9pk Lmao Got damn. We're getting old guys 😔

one of the best ˝1 on 1˝ !!
Thank you very much, it is rare to read that people like both music and video.
In half of the plays, he should have been called for Illegal Hang Time, and the other half for unnecessary cruelty to the defender.
nigga what
Am I the only one who understands that this is a joke
man! this guy was so good and i didn't even remember him
Him and AI were crossover kings and also Tim Hardaway. Tim Hardaway was more originality, AI was quickness and effectiveness, while Steve had variety in his crossover game.
My guy on 2k back in the day 💪🏾💪🏾
That's my dad
your dad is great
wow, you must be proud.
That..must be really tough from wat I’ve heard of him recently
I drew pictures of him on my art page @ javie_jdd23 on instagram it would be cool if you could show him
Thank you very much, these comments motivate me to keep making more videos. The next thing is to prepare Vince Carter .... Does that sound, right?
the alley at 4:23 he literally caught that one from the 2nd story of the gym. CRAZY!
Steve Francis, crossover dribbles, makes my eyeballs hurt, while watching him!
That's was my guy one of the first explosive pg before Russ D Rose
Oh MAN! EPIC MIX
tHAKNS sPIKE ¡¡¡¡
Dude was live when they talk about most athletic pgs I hate he don't get mentioned
His shot was lethal after crossover
I mean people talk about Westbrook and pre-injury Rose but Steve was doing this wayyyy before them and better too!
PhillyFly1039 he was not better lmao
You can’t even compare francis to prime rose
Sorry to say this but he is not better than Westbrook better than all rose combine though
Different play styles Westbrook doesn't wanna get by you he wanna dunk on you Steve wanna have ankles broken different
nicely done tone i like it
i LOVE seeing steve francis dunk
It's been a long time without any comments.Good luck sf3,regard from China in 2019.
those old days. Franchise vs B Diddy :D
thx for sharing.. best of francis steve..
EXCELLENT reel
H town coldest PG 💯
Underated for sure !
steve francis was fucking good he was a true pg of that time he could probably take on most of these pgs now if he was still in the nba.
ive started following nba back at when jordan was dominating and the era that i was watching ai, grady, carter, francis..
great song :>
Houston should've kept Steve, Cato, and Mobley I think they gave up too much for Tmac. They could've gone deeper in the playoffs alongside Yao.
Cato was trash tho....
Na just steve since there relationships was not that good.
TRUTH!!!!! I’m still mad at VAN GUNDY for making that trade
Kelvin Cato robbed the rockets with his ghetto trash contract.
Hyped Yao ruined all their careers
It's called Jahidi White, played in the Wizars for a few seasons and its height is 6-9
This current guard friendly era would have been perfect for him
The Franchise in The Answer to best point guards period
Thank you for this video! Very well done, vid quality wasn't shot with a carrot and music didn't take away from the action but definitely complimented it and followed his exciting basketball personality. STEVIE FRANCHISE!!!
Haven't forgot about you Stevie franchise
This was koo but y’all disrespecting him with the music😭😂
? this is awesome synced up well
its from 2013 tf you expect
awesome tribute mate!
miss this man
@Pacman4275 Graces, Steve was the most rapid, beside possessing a jump in vertically favoured .. the whole crossoverman ¡
Damnnnn Stevie Franchise was Siiiiiiiiiick!!!! Player closest to him today I'd say is D-Rose or Westbrook, but Westbrook didnt have the handles Stevie had
Steve represented the name well
Yea I can say his my top 10 pg of all time ppl slept on him
Yeah, Steve Francis was definitely underated, he was so explosive and fast, he was definitely a great player
stevie franchise
very nice compilation of highlights and music!
2000 dunk contest period
sensations
the reason...miss him
At 1min in the magic lay up was a year before or the year he went to NY and his career was done...proof he was still the man...the league just wanted him out.......just like AI on detroit....he still had it but they messed with his mins and took his passion
My favorite dunk was at 3:04, that was amazing
My favorite was at 1:25 he caught the rock off the rebound and got air, then 2 hand piped it like Shaq
this guy Francis was very NASTY! 🙅💪☝!!!!!!!
hes my ideal player untill today ^^ not fading
great mix
@tugay199156 this song is : "Love Island" by Fat Boy Slim
A legacy.
Awesome mix
Song: "Love Island"
Band: Fatboy Slim
He had a lot of similarities also to D Wade
I miss seeing you play Wink.
STEVIE FRANCHISEEEEE
As soon as t mac and Yao got on that team he went from the franchise to the French frie
Drippy Jay thats a funny joke
Haha I like it
This man would be playing now is a monster
Killer handles
0:47 looks like NBA Live 2000 it’s crazy
STEVE FRANCIS IT'S A WASHINGTON DC THANG ALL- AMERICAN AT MARYLAND UNIVERSITY ALL - PRO NBA VERY EXPLOSIVE
He got so much air on his dunks.
@BlueEyedSmurf I have not taken it as an offense, calmly.
My translator Ingles-español translates and confuses terms, because it is not the first time that happens.
Thank you for thinking.
who else always gets a devry university ad
Nice vid...My fav player of all time!like westbrook athleticim but much greater handles and passing skills in his prime
I don't see Steph or Kyrie shaking guys like this.
nope, they are shaking guys, and he is the one doesnt get a big advantage after crossover. He has some moments, but if you do 100 times you will succed once. Anyway one of the most fun players to watch
Hoops Journey explosion mixed with different paces!
He had some hoops for 6 foot 3 dude and he had good cross over
Great compilation. Can you re-upload it with better resolution maybe?
Great video, even better music! Great work man!!!
@ZoomZip I do not also understand, that was not obtaining ningun contract.
最爱Steve, nba
His cross over looks good but it doesn't create a big impact to the defense. If you observe, the defense of the players are still there even if he made a good crossover. Unlike Allen Iverson, CP3, etc.... just saying...
CP3 only crossover big men. You don't really see him killing other point guards
he just used the crossover to create separation ...he used his quicks to blow by defenders
But you do see him getting killed lol i.e. Steps Curry
Steph*
***** he's using pick and roll alot
Steve or Kyrie, who's got the better handles?
Steve
I think the song put me in a trance or some shit like that
Francis or Iverson. Who are you taking?
I mean Francis was nice but let's not get crazy here. LoL
