Best players in the world were playing in that Serie A followed by La Liga, EPL and then Bundesliga. #4. Ronaldo Nazario was one of the best dribblers, playmakers and passer. #8. Ronaldo Nazario is the best striker in history. #9. Ronaldo Nazario is the youngest player who won the Ballon D’or. #10. Ronaldo Nazario scored 47 goals out of 49 games at Barcelona in 96/97 season. Most people say that Ronaldo without injuries could be the best player in history. In my point of view the mistake that Ronaldo did was that his move from Barcelona to Inter Milan. Because Serie A at that time was extremely aggressive. If he were stayed at Barcelona, he would have been won the 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and even more Ballon D’Ors. @@richardsmith9615 if you watch the highlights closely you will notice most of the times R9 starts the action from midfield or from the wings...
thank you!!! amazing highlights!!!
What a beast. The best ever
R9 was phenomenal but my best Brazilian was always Romario who made scoring look effortless!Ronaldo was all about pace, skill and power!
I am a 34 year old football fan. I remember well that Ronaldo's lateral movement with his foot completely disappeared after the 2002 World Cup. Before that, it existed
Best Stricker ever. ❤
He's teammates were too slow to back him up. He made a lot of easy assists that were not scored. He was playing too fast for his teammates.
Yes, Djorkaeff, Simeone, Kanu and Zamorano were slow players in modern standards. Ronaldo was too fast for them.
Zamorano didn't play for like more than half of the 1997 season too. The only other good attackers were Djorkaeff and Recoba. Djorkaeff wasn't fast and nowhere near top 15 attacker in quality, and Recoba played even less than Zamorano and had piss poor form even in his best seasons.
He was too fast!
Yes, there is indeed 1 Ronaldo and this is the most interesting thing: Ronaldo is Ronaldo, CR7 is CR7, they are clearly different, don't compare them.
Keep hating on Cristiano Ronaldo😂😂😂😂
❤❤ CR7
Absolutely love this video
@5:37 Look at the ferocity, physicality, balance, rhythm change, and speed. Jesus. You just do not see that anymore since peak Messi 2015.
The player who made us fall in love with beautiful game, even goalkeepers had number 9 on their backs
messi e cristiano ronaldo grew up watching him and dreaming of becoming like him... It has never happened. He was from another planet.
these the types of videos ive been looking for all over YT thank you bro, commentary & the fans cheering really the best not those outdated videos w/ music over them
This man was the best footballer and realist G I ever seen on d pitch absolute Legend
The biggest "what if" in football 🥺
R9 The real Goat 🫲🏽
To those who know, there is no what if. It was witnessed and it was known.
Ronaldo was for me tha most exciting player. Explosive and sniper precison. Injuries stopped him from absolute dominnation. I enjoyed football back then.
Ronaldo fenómeno 😍
Underrated Legend
I was born in mid 2000s but I still knew about R9. He was my favourite player to play with in PES 5, 6 along with Ronaldinho. Too bad he was injury prone in those games
The Real Ronaldo the greatest player ever pre 23 years of age from 18-23 the greatest ever even Maradona and pele Weren’t that dam good at that age
Pelè was...
@@davidemaglio5745 not from 18-23 pele is the #1 in history and his 2 early World Cup wins put him way ahead everyone but individual quality and abilities Ronaldo was by far the best he’s the the greatest ever we all know and we all know why he didn’t accomplish it
@@EastBayNorCal Pelé scored 6 goals and 2 crossbars in 3 games in WC as a teenager.
In Brazil in one game he scored 7 goals Vs Altafini's team. That was before 1958 WC (I heard from Altafini/Mazola's mouth)
In 1962, his second WC, he was universally recognized as the undisputed best player of the world, but he got injured.
So R9 and Pelé are the two best teenagers ever, with Maradona close second and Messi third
@@davidemaglio5745in the local paulista championships Pele scored 58 goals and this was in 1958 also
The BOAT (best of all time). Maybe didn't have the longest peak/career to be the GOAT, but his best was better than anyone else's.
This is the best and most accurate comment of them all. Well said!
Totally agree
R9 the best of the best ❤
Legend! The best Ronaldo!
Ronaldo da Lima was like a jaguar!
Without injuries 🤕 one cannot imagine what stats he would have achieved. Still one of the Goat 🐐 of all time.
Referees don’t protect him like Messi . We missed all his wonders
When will pristiano tapinaldoggy fans stop crying??😂😂
@@subratabrahma3793pessi fan 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
The best brazilian ever with pele zico❤
Melhor Ronaldo
Melhor do que CR7 e Messi juntos.
@@luizcarlossiqueira8046 kkkkk nao
No one comes close to the Fenomeno
The real
The one
The true
RONALDOOO
This guy is too great that his body simply couldn't handle it
Good analogy.
EL MEJOR 9 DE LA HISTORIA SIN DISCUSIÓN.
He was unstoppable at that age and just before
Yeah guys you think Messi or cr7 ist goat. Our Generation is he the goat. He bring the Football to the next Level.
Damn 🔥🔥
Even his teammates couldn't keep up with him
He was a strong bodied player but very fast and he knew how to get around defense quite well. Very innovative and had a higher IQ and was relentless.
The thing that set him apart was skill and the burst of energy to cover large distances and score.
Amazing player.
No wonder his knees exploded.... so much power, just look at his explosiveness , stop and start and intricate turns. His ligaments were working overtime non stop.
Maybe with todays training , physio etc we woukd of seen a longer career
Hes my goat
Despite is he or not the greatest of all time, and although I’ve been watching almost all of his clips for decades. I still repeat watching and enjoy as if it’s the first time. Not just that, lately, I’d get some snacks ready if not popcorn before watching as if I’m about to watch a Hollywood interesting movie that just came out lol
So the argument of who is the GOAT that ever touches the ball will always be there, very understandable because it could relay on many factors, stats, & circumstances if not people’s favor. But I think the best football ability of all time you can see in a single player and to entertain yourself watching, from the amazing speed, skills, dribble alongside power, to scoring with ease and coolness, all that with effectiveness and productively, will only be the R9.
He is the football movie star!
