Extactly! Cosby Show is one of the greatest shows of all time. A Different World is right up there with this show too because Bill Cosby Show and Debbie Allen produced it.
The thing that Cosby did so well on this show....he showed the amazing history of black culture without making it some "WAR" or shoving it in your face. From this show I learned about Ray Charles, John Coltrane, T Turner, Dizzy, Lenna Horne, and so many of the various HBC out there by the sweatshirts he wore. This show was AMAZING and truly made it welcoming for EVERYONE!!! A show that actually brought American together and made us laugh in good spirit.
Speak Truth my friend. The Cosby Show gave me my lifelong appreciation of Jazz and Soul music 🎶. This show empowered a generation of Young Black Women and Men to attend a college/university. He single-handed usher in the Era of HBCU Pride and Representation. For that and much more, I am eternally grateful.
@@m.layfette6249 it also introduced legends like Lena Horne and Dizzy Gillespie (before we lost them) to a whole generation of viewers. I would love to see a box set of songs song or played during the series. Oh that would be awesome. I don't know if it could be done.
I really care less what is in the news about Bill Cosby. This show was my all time favorite in the 80's. My teen age son and I spent a lot of quality time together when he was growing up~now that he is a 42 year old man, we still spend time together and reminisce about our mother, son relationship and The Cosby Show still ranks at the top.
Frank N. Stein~No~I did not dump his dad. His dad left us homeless when my son was just 6 years old. But, I rose above it~I knew I had a tough road ahead of me and I made it to the top. I worked 40 hours a week on my full time job and 32 hours a week on my part time job to support my son and myself~I did not allow tax payers to pay my way~I always made sure I spent quality time with my son. I was never a dead beat mom~I never received one penny for child support from my son's father. He was just too weak to accept the responsibility of having a wife and son. Now, he is homeless and still a deadbeat at the age of 71.
Tigress 1 You can't care less that Cosby is a serial rapist? Really? If you still like the show that's fine, but to not care that Cosby is a rapist? Just because you like the show? Wow.
Rick Jones well we don't know if Cosby is a rapist or if these wrinkly old women are trying to ruin his legacy. Funny how they waited sooooooo long. He's 80 something let the man die in peace. Gosh
One of the most iconic moments in the history of American television, period. Something like 49 million people watched this episode, so yeah, a huge chunk of America saw it.
THIS WAS THE SHOW TO WATCH, OMG THOSE WERE THE GOLDEN DAYS, BECAUSE OF THIS SHOW, I WENT TO COLLEGE AND PURSUED EDUCATION, THIS SHOW IS PASSIONATE TO ME
Me too, I watched this in the 90s along with different world and told myself my black ass is going to college, was the first one in my immediate family to graduate college.
Mean while the actors only attended college after filming and making money from being casted on this show. If they went to college at all . So inspirational
PERFECT WRITING AND CAST!!! THEO ON POINT! RUDY A LIL LEGIT BOSS! CLAIRE SO STUNNING!!! BILL DOIN HIS THING....SONDRA, DENISE AND VANESSA PERFECT BACK UP!!!! SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!
I wanted it too. My character was going with the new homeless shelter motif. I chose not to be on tv. I rather be in this corner over here were nobody can see me
Don't give a fuck about the accusations-Bill Cosby will forever be one of my favorite tv dads and The Cosby Show will forever be a classic and one of my favorite tv shows. This show made my childhood fabulous!!!!!

My favorite show then and still my favorite...always loved what Denise would wear....so before her time....it's all the fashion again....I love what she's wearing in this episode!.....I would wear it today without a doubt!.....it's Nov 2017
I got to see Bill Cosby back in the late 70's when he appeared at the Paul Paul theater in Fresno, California. That was when he did a lot of the jello commercials. His comedy was clean, it was funny and very entertaining. He brought kids from the audience on the stage and included them in the show.
When I was a child and first saw this episode I heard this song and I was like why did she sing like that... Then I got older and saw the Ray movie and seen she was in love with him that's why she sing like that and I busted out crying.. Lol
No matter what, I will still always love the Cosby show. Some of my favorite moments are this one, dad having a snowball fight with the neighborhood kids.⛄
I remember my brother and I weren't much older than Keshia, and we howled laughing at her performance. It became an inside joke between us. Cosby may be an unsavory character, but the rest of the cast was awesome.
This has got to be one of the most, if not, the most hillarious moments on sitcom history. Shutouts to Bill Cosby and the whole concept of the show where we were shown being smart, intelligent, capable, responsible, and powerful.
Love The Cosby Show and Love Bill Cosby He Will Always be One of the Greatest TV Entertainers Author Producer you name it, A Blessed Man no matter the circumstance.
I adored the Cosby Show. Kids in sports, karate practices during that time. Husband on the road constantly. When Thursday come around we settled in for Precious Family 👪 ❤ Time.
I still watch the re runs of The Cosby Show I will always love ❤ and respect Bill Cosby This episode is definitely one of my favorites and my parents favorite too
I love, love, love this episode being my favorite of all times. Theo, rudy, and dad killed it with their singing selves. And the wife and the girls did them dance steps in tune with each other including Rudy with cute self and missing teeth. Now imagine if Denise step daughter Olivia had been a part of that trio at the time of this episode, Raven Simone would have really tore it up by adding her finishing touches on it then it really would have been legendary. And I still love bill Cosby dispute any of his flaws and he is still my favorite comedian of all times and I still watch the reruns of the Cosby show. It will never die in my 💜❤️.
Ill always love the Cosby show. I grew up on watching Cosby show and Different World. Thank you all for giving us something to strive for when we got older👏👏.Peace and blessings be with all the cast members🥰
When a person never does you any good, there's little to no hurt when he lets you down. But the greater the good a person does for you, the greater the hurt when he lets you down. Mr.Cosby did so much good with this show.....
Who's still watching in 2019!? This is hilarious and one of my favorite episodes!
