This is about the only time Claire annoyed me 🤣🙄 got that man doing store runs on Thanksgiving Day for stuff she should’ve had at least a week in advance and then had the nerve to go next door and borrow things from next door when she should’ve did that to begin with 😩

Some times you just gotta let people in. Like Theo and his friends, that's okay because they were in need. Now Olivia's mom is a question, it has good sentiment, but really it's Denise, she has a good heart but she's dumb as a poll sometimes. In the end it was alright though.

My grandmother ALWAYS forgot something EVERY Thanksgiving and Christmas, and she would ALWAYS send Grandpa out to pick up those items. He ALWAYS found some place that was open, then ALWAYS come home as grumpy as Cliff did.

Isn't the whole point of the show that ALL kids are completely incompetent at any task the parent gives them? Sondra would have refused and cited the statistics of traffic accidents in bad weather, Denise would have brought back some "creative" alternative that would make the cornbread inedible, Theo would've never found the store, Vanessa would've gotten involved in some crazy misadventure, and Rudy didn't have a driver's license, but if she did...who knows what would've happened to her??
This always made me angry. I never would've kept going back out there like that and I would've told Claire that if she needed those things so bad she should've bought them the day before.

Isn't the whole point of the show that ALL kids are completely incompetent at any task the parent gives them? Sondra would have refused and cited the statistics of traffic accidents in bad weather, Denise would have brought back some "creative" alternative that would make the cornbread inedible, Theo would've never found the store, Vanessa would've gotten involved in some crazy misadventure, and Rudy didn't have a driver's license, but if she did...who knows what would've happened to her??

Poor Cliff, how did they not have these things before hand? And you know Claire when to at least two houses for those eggs. Like one person will lend anyone a dozen eggs on Thanksgiving. No one has that laying around, unless your over prepared or a baker.
