    My biggest takeaway is understanding and learning how to scale your business properly in order to have the increase in clientele and income. Not to be playing Russian roulette with prices like many barbers do which ends up hurting your business and shooting yourself in the foot

    My biggest takeaway is that there isn’t a certain market you should be looking for or trying to get lawyers,doctors, or basketball players in your chair. You should be looking for a problem in someone’s haircut that you can solve BECAUSE in business value is created by finding solutions to peoples problems.

    Biggest takeaway I got from this video was a greater change in perspective. The Russian roulette analogy of raising prices without strategy really made me Re think my direction.

    Watch the video from start to finish, and what I ultimately learned is that you shouldn’t be trying to target a certain clientele or high earring people. Instead focus on establishing your business on a problem/ solution , mainly focusing on your strong points with in your service & catering towards people who VALUE A haircut & care about the way they look. THATS HOW YOU SCALE.

    My biggest take away from this video is to NEVER play Russian Roulette with our prices when we don’t have a STRATEGY behind your prices raises. I just joined the new era program and I absolutely love it and I can see that there is so many STRATEGIES behind all of this. I love how you talked abt to never try to attract ppl who make a lot of money instead focus more on being a PROBLEM SOLVING BARBER because ppl will pay you that top dollar price if u can fix a problem with their hair! My biggest take away!

    My issue was myself, my ego took over and i raised my prices up from 30 to 40 because i felt like my work was worth more. But i really didn’t know what tf i was doing. and I’ve definitely noticed how shitty my clientele got. I lost some clientele flow and now i feel like i need to go back down to 30 because I destroyed my business by at least 50%

    • @dlucs_
      @dlucs_  Год назад

      I would 100% recomend going back down to 30. Most won't admit it and will try to "force" their business at that new price point, but they fuck themselves longterm bc they can't make more income. Go back down, build properly so that you can scale without guessing next time! No harm or foul in that!

    i need to keep focusing on the college kids in my town and not try to get athletes in the chair. there’s a barber here that cuts all the athletes and gave me THE EXACT same feedback recently. he said they always hit him up asking for a last minute squeeze in. i thought it was jus his experience but now i know it’s a truth all over!

    Yo d, what I learned and took away was scaling the business in a wise manner vs just shooting for the stars aka Russian roulette and ruining the biz / clientele. I also heard I should join the mentorship. Which I may. Keep at it this is good business help.

    Takeaway, develop the skillset and be good at what you do. Don’t rush into raising the prices by big margins. Create a plan and act. Properly scale your business and know how to market

    Don’t get stuck in the normal routine. Rather focus on bringing in and attracting the right people that see value in your business to your chair. And also don’t scam the tax system then you will be stuck in it for life.

    As a 17 Year old Barber this definitely gave me more clarity on my clientele and focusing on who to go to. this video prevented me from going the “ russian roulette “ route.
    I was just about to raise my prices like you explained but continued to listened and am grateful i didn’t. definitely a great message that more barbers need to hear and i’m glad i watched this at such a young age 🙌

    My biggest take away from this video is that not to chase people that already have a lot of barbers there for them and you need to establish your worth and let them come to you and raise your price because now think about it , i put so much time into something and I enhance people’s looks it should just be more then 25 bucks woman’s nails are 50-100+ bucks so instead of being an ordinary barber I need to be a barber for restoration and for new looks to earn more . Thanks dlucs. I’m gonna charge 60 thank you for helping me get out my shell 💯

    You need a system in order to be able to run a business the right and fix your problem using that system so you can be able to grow

    My biggest takeaway is everybody else’s business blueprint,shouldn’t necessarily be your blueprint. And, not to mistake income amount with a true quality client. Don’t be afraid to raise your prices, but when you raise them, be consistent, and make it make sense to actually raising your income, time should be money.

    It’s not about getting high paying clients, it’s about giving supply to a specific demand. Like any business, solving a problem is what people will pay for, nice vid. 🙏

      Ehhh, not really. It's about getting high paying clients, but by solving a problem but not supply and demand focused

  • @yobarberrileyy

    Focus on solving people’s problems with their hair , most barbers just cut and are looking for the next buck instead of solving the issue people have with their hair… don’t break your business raising your prices

  • @ikuezechidera3490
    @ikuezechidera3490 Год назад

    Biggest take away is don’t play Russian roulette with how you raise your price ❌
    Focus on solving problems as a barber rather than finding richer clienteles 👀
    Normal people who aren’t athletes or doctors or lawyers also pay a huge sum as long as you’re able to solve their problem.✅
