I love what you said about looking at your lips to figure out what color blush to use. So many beauty guru's say that EVERYONE should wear a baby pink or bright pink blush and it looks TERRIBLE on me, so I decided to try other shades and found that on my medium caramel skin tone and with my purple toned lips pink makes me look sickly but purple's look best. Great tip that is often not told.

You are so naturally beautiful, and this video really shows how you can use makeup to enhance your natural beauty instead of trying to cover up or hide it. I was never really into makeup because I grew up in an abusive household and had really low self esteem and didn't see the point in it, but now as an adult I want to start wearing it to look more polished and professional. I think this video will help a lot.

You looked absolutely stunning in this, Sinead! And you looked so like your mom at certain parts. And pay no attention to people who dislike you repeating beginner videos. Your quality of video, delivery of information and knowledge is always improving, so it's basically just updating! God knows the way I paint, and the way I *explain* I paint is 10 times faster and more streamlined than it was 2 years ago, so I'd be half-mortified if people were following tutorials I made back then, now.

wow! this is the best beginners tutorial I have EVER seen! it has really improved my confidence on wearing make-up. I feel like youtube is a lifesaver! for example. when my mum was little she didn't have tutorials like this to learn how to properly apply make-up and probably left the house like a clown (no offence mum) I feel like these tutorials really help. I tried the look and it's so natural and beautiful...I love it, the tips about foundation really helped as I feel very orange wearing it normally (mostly because I'm more tanned and have to get darker foundations) I honestly feel like there is so much more to describe about this but can't tell you how thankful I am! thanks again-molly xx
I have dark circles, veiny eyelids, and big pores on the cheek area near my nose. Should I use foundation, bb cream, or concealer? Bran recommendations? And a brush or sponge? Help!
+Brinely March For the dark circles and veiny eyelids, use a high coverage concealer such as Rimmel Wake me up and collection lasting perfection. If you can afford also look for a good corrector such as Bobby Brown's. For the pores use a pore removing primer underneath your makeup. The brush or sponge it's just a preference

how is this for beginners? i have no idea what bronzer or highlighter is, or what they look like. how do you draw eyebrows?
bronzer is used to enhance and create a tanned look, and depending where and how you apply you can change the structure of your face with makeup. Higlighter is a light, shimmery makeup that comes in powders and liquids, you use it to "highlight" the areas of your face light would hit naturally.
Then google it... She can't explain what everything is

CourtisShort no offense but no one doesn't know what's makeup anymore. It's all over the internet you can ask a 10 year old girl and she'll tell you everything about makeup. If you have a question, google it. She's just showing an example of a simple makeup. Not too much effort needed.
No offense but there are non English speaking people and people who don't watch makeup tutorials on youtube all day long. You were not born with this knowledge and you also started there. Every marathon starts with one little step. Makeup artists also started at Zero. I don't know a fuck about contouring and eye shadow and I'm 20 :D I mean I know what bronzer and highlighter is but I still can't use it. I end up looking like a zebra in the mud.

Sineady I loved the way you instructed how to do brows. So many beauty people on RUclips show such harsh, drawn in, fake looking brows. Since this video is "beginner" most young girls don't need or look right with heavily drawn in brows. I've been wearing makeup for a long, long time, lol. But I still always learn new things from you. Great job as usual, my dear!

A BEGINNER needs to learn this. Otherwise do not wear makeup. Is it too difficult to cleanse your face and take care of your skin? Take it step by step. One day at a time. Start with cleansing and moisturizing with spf (sunscreen) Aveeno has a great one..Positively Radiant with sunscreen. Apply a little lip gloss and go. Practice that for a week and add the steps 1 at a time. This is the best beginner video.

i used to watch u when i was a kid , i used to watch this video everyday, i even tried to buy the same makeup products that u used in this video. i still use the the same foundation that u used here, i have the same eraser concealer that u used here . i always remembered u . i have always followed your teachings, after almost six years i just dropped by to say hi . nowadays the makeup videos are just maybe not satisfying enough for me . but i love your videos .
