I love wearing makeup but I have not for the last few months because, my eyes are watering all the time so it’s very uncomfortable. Even eyes drops not helping me.😢😢😢.
@wildwildwest1662 I know that this may sound daft, but how is your gut health? Same thing happened to me, fixing my gut health and so many things are coming right, watering eyes, stuffy nose, menopausal hives, allergies...just a suggestion
Being 63 and loving makeup I find that you ,my friend give the best tips and tricks especially for us older gals. Take care of yourself and I hope you are well.
Thank you! At 75, this is the BEST eyeshadow tutorial I've seen for mature ladies! I've been a makeup junkie since the 1960s and aging does make all makeup more challenging especially eye makeup. Your tips for lifting the eyes are very appreciated . Again thank you. Donna
I am a mature lady who loves makeup especially eye makeup which I do every morning it makes me feel good thanks for sharing your knowledge and showing me how to apply my makeup better X 👍❤️
I am a mature friend (58). Need something to take my mind off my son’s seizures. We’ve had over 50 in the last three days. 😢 Loved the video, i have hooded eyes as well so no lid space. Thank you Sinead, sending uplifting healing energies for you. ❤
Yes!!! I’m 63 and have worn make up since I was 15. Indeed, it gets more challenging to work with aging skin and physics lol. Just found this contributor and appreciate the details. Now subscribed!
I'm 58 and still learning what I like after getting into makeup jus a few years ago. I realized the makeup tutorials online are often about testing out a palette and using s many shadows as possible. I have actually found a three shadow look is great for me, or even just one matte and one shimmer or even just a satin. It looks elegant and not heavy.
I turned 46 recently and my eye shape and textures have changed. I have dark circles and now have hooded, dry eyes. Can’t wait to learn new tricks. Any tips on how to reduce the look of fine lines below the eye? I use tarte sharp tape concealer and Armani Luminous silk foundation with a beauty blender. Thank you and hope you are well!
Your the best teacher ever👍 I've watched a sooooo many vidios and I think I've got the best teacher thankyou so much for all the information and explaining so clearly thankyou thankyou
Me too! I have the trifecta of hooded eyes (fold almost touches lash line) , minimal lid space , and downturned eyes (down past my outer corner and blocks any attempt of wing eyeliner) .
You will always and forever be my favorite RUclipsr/makeup artist. Great tips as always. I'm in my mid-forties and only really discovered makeup about 6 years ago. Thanks for all your tips and tricks! Love it!
Love the tips about the angles. I'm going to be trying out that tip tomorrow morning!😍 [ I don't comment often and don't have a high frequency emoji, so I am choosing heart-eyes ]
Such helpful tips (I’ve learnt a lot watching your videos) thank you & your voice is very soothing. I think you mentioned in the video that you’d share some recommended products for us mature friends but can’t find it. I’d love you to do a video on evening up features such as eyebrows being uneven, an eye being smaller or more hooded than the other etc. I’m also losing lip definition in my bottom lip so tips on what to do to overcome that uneven wonky outer lip line would be appreciated too.
@@TheMakeupChair Thank you for all that you do for us to give us that boost and confidence. I love & enjoy your videos. The tutorials are easy to do without any fuss. I like that. I hope that you are feeling much better And enjoying the fine things in life. God bless and continue to give you good health🙏🏽🤗🌟🎶❄️
🤦🏻♀️ is my most used emoji! I would love you see a tutorial about makeup for small eyes. My eyes are average distance apart but are very small. I have to be careful with shadow not to make them look smaller.
Hi 👋 such a great video tutorial for us more mature ladies. I really appreciate it. Can you mention the eyeshadow products that you were talking about? I did not see a list unless I missed it. And also, what did you use for your eyeliner? Thank you so much.
So sorry I missed you! I've been in the hospital and having staff coming in every 2 minutes. Thank you so much for these tips! I need to try them all! 😂❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m in my 50’s and wearing makeup again for the first time in decades. 😊 Do you recommend using a primer that already has color in it or just mixing a clear primer with concealer? Also, do you need primer when using liquid eyeshadow? I find liquid lays better on my skin than power. Power seems to make my skin look dry and migrates whereas the liquid seems to stay in place well.
Thank you for the tips 😊. I am hoping you will possibly do more of these videos for Mature Friends . I find it hard to find a good concealer or foundation that won't make me look older than I am . I am to the point that I just don't wear any make up anymore , as I am more embarrassed with how I look with it on than without but I don't feel like myself without it. So any tips on foundations or concealers for mature skin would be so helpful. I know you aren't there yet. Such a beautiful girl. Thank you so much for your time .❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've never considered 'cleaning up' the area around the eyes and I can see the difference it makes. What product do you use for this? Is it concealer or foundation? Thank you!
Thank you for your suggestions. I do believe as you age less is more. I clean up my eyeshadow fallout with a makeup wipe. I don’t think mature skin should clean up the under eyes with concealer it adds more makeup which you don’t need. It’s only for clean up. I use concealer to cover my dark circles under my eyes. I don’t need to add more to clean up my eye shadow. I did try it a few times and it turned into a cakey mess. I do my eye shadow first clean up with a makeup wipe than I do the rest of my makeup. Younger skin can get away with more makeup than mature skin.
wooow thank you very much for mature make up.i need apropriate products and how to apply them. concealers under the eyes and on the face is hard to apply for a person who is 40 or 50
I love this video! I am not only new to makeup (I generally just use a small amount of cream shadow and mascara). AND I am new to RUclips so... I'm embarrassed to ask but, do you have a list of the products you used in this video? Is it already somewhere and I just don't know where to go to access it? Thanks so much for any information.
Yah!!! Thank you so much. This is for me. May all your ministering angels continue to do their watch over you. May the blood of Jesus speak on your behalf. Good to see you again!!!!!
@TheMakeupChair I mostly text with my kids and purple is my favorite color. A purple heart from Mom says "thank you", "love you", "drive safe", all kinds of things.
Very interesting information, but your model needs to be a much older lady - like in her 60 or 70s - so the older mature women who watch this can relate to this video and see how to apply makeup with the wrinkles, sagging skin and discolored eyelids. A mature makeup tutorial needs to have a much more mature model.
These are more lessons, not so much to watch and follow but to learn the advice. I do have a video on my mom, if you'd like to see it - ruclips.net/video/TUcleJ2PpKo/видео.htmlsi=i_QZUOoMOPLn3-5g

It would have been a better video if you used a model who really is older, with bags under her eyes and crepey lids. Just saying.

It would be nice to see you do it on actual mature skin!! ! It will not look the same! Very misleading!
Agree. The model us young.
😢 not on old skin

So i need a primer
