Don’t they make a 2nd battery you can buy though for the x260’s that can get it up to same speed ?

72volts and a bac controller will have you clearing those jumps... really tho with a bac controller and being on a motocross track getting an aftermarket 60v capable of putting out many more amps than the stock one and some extra capacity like a chi battery... so itll still fit in the bike. I'm building a 72volt 30ah pack bms rated 100amps continuous at the moment.

Hey, I've seen 60v wither high amps are better for offroading and for the efficiency, why build 72v for your case ? Thanks

The bac 8000 and 72v are definitely on my wish list. Expensive though so I'm going to wait and do a few small changes first.

I've asked a few of the battery and controller manufacturers and they keep saying go with the 72v.

@@jtd315 ya 72 if you've got the aftermarket controller... but I've seen guys who preferred the 60volt because it still fits in the case and they do all off roading like it looks like your doing so you don't want a giant 72volt battery sticking out the top of the bike. Although ive seen some 72volts that still fit... by going with a 60 you could get more ah and therefore more range. Just depends what your going for... I'm all about more power if it fits and looks nice. I dont care for the litespeed 72v 40ah pack that sticks way put the top of the surron...chi batterys has some big 60volt packs that look great

@@liveteklol I'm not on a surron yet... so kind of practicing a build to one sell my bike with a new battery and 2 have some experience building a pack... I had a bunch of cells and kind of just wanted to build one. Hoping to make the switch to a surron soon tho the pack I'm building would fit a surronbut itll stay in the bike I have to sell it... with a 72volt I'm able to use more of the full range of my speed controller which is 48v to 90v ... but what you were saying about a 60v with higher amp hours being better for offroad is exactly what I was saying.
