Also I make holes in my cake after I flip it out the pan and make a thin glaze and with a Pastry brush glaze it like a donut it cools perfect. Then I make a thicker glaze and drizzle try it

@Shelly_R Good morning. It's not the same. If you're referring to the Mccormick Cake Batter extract, it replaced their Vanilla, Butter, & Nut extract. Both creme bouquet and cake batter are good. Hope that helps.

Hi Donna, I am new to your channel and I enjoy your videos. I am learning quite a bit and some day I will tackle one of your pound cake recipes. Some of the ingredients you use are new to me, such as creme bouquet. Based on your description, I'm guessing that creme bouquet is the same as cake batter extract? I have never used either one. As for the cake flour, I remember that my mother used to have a method of converting all-purpose flour to cake flour. Well, various articles have explained that a valid substitute is all-purpose flour and cornstarch, in a specific ratio, and sifted. And you are right about the science of baking. The ratios of ingredients are so precise and delicate to produce the desired results. Bakers like you are basically kitchen scientists, whether you know it or not, because you do quite a bit of experimenting! That's what make is so interesting. Thank you for the lessons! 😃

Sister Donna the cake looks really good as all your cakes, but we love whenever you cook anything and we love you hauls and field trips but maybe one suggestion is maybe show/teach us how to cook simple quick meals if you don't want to do cakes all the time because you give us so much information on how to cook whatever you are cooking, thank you for sharing
