I love the sour cream pound cake. It is my favorite of all cakes because it reminds me of those church homecoming they use to have years ago some people call them basket rally. We couldn’t wait to get those cake that those Mothers use to make. That cake brought back a lot of memories

I recently found some old bottles. I know she used 3 flavors n a pound of butter. Yea extremely rich. You have inspired me to try her cake again after many many years. Hey, Y’all! Dude #1 is hilarious! Looking like a little kid eating that cake! Beautiful cake as always! When cutting it, you can cut like you would normally cut you cakes. Each slice will have part of the design of the pan or, you could do like Dude #1 said and go with the grooves. If you do that, you’re just going to have folk fighting over the big piece or the little piece! 😂 Congratulations on the new mixer, too! Yummy recipe as per usual Donna! Have to try to make it! Anyway in answer to your question as to how to cut it with that Bundt cake design just slice as usual. You don’t need to follow the design. Just slice the normal size. The design will add a different look to each slice!

That mixer did the job, beautiful and cake looks delicious. Pound cakes are a momma and them dessert. The older the auntie is she called the cake “ sweet bread”. I could tell by the taste of the batter that this is not only a winner, but the recipe I will forever go to when making pound cake. Hi I cooked this sour creme pound cake last night it was delicious . I have about 1/2 pound cake left ..I used vanilla extract , butter extract , and almond extract for the cake batter and vanilla extract for the glaze ...You are amazing , thank you so much ....love the way you explain every step ...blessings🙏

That mixer did the job, beautiful and cake looks delicious. Pound cakes are a momma and them dessert. The older the auntie is she called the cake “ sweet bread”. Ma’am, politely I am obsessed and this cake hasn’t even been in the oven for 10 minutes. I could tell by the taste of the batter that this is not only a winner, but the recipe I will forever go to when making pound cake. I cannot wait for my minis from extra batter to be done so I can indulge in some fresh pound cake. Hi I cooked this sour creme pound cake last night it was delicious . I have about 1/2 pound cake left ..I used vanilla extract , butter extract , and almond extract for the cake batter and vanilla extract for the glaze ...You are amazing , thank you so much ....love the way you explain every step ...blessings🙏

I have made this cake so much that it is in my memory. Changed the flavoring a little so I just added 1/4teaspoon of almond extract so so good 👍🏿 Thanks for all you do!!! Happy Thanksgiving 2022!!!!

He said grandma can we meet them one day and I said we will see, 😊😊😊. He's 7 by the way. I made some sweet potato Bundt cakes and dump cake with a vanilla glaze. I like glazing now too.
