Nice video, loved how informative you are. I was going to tackle this job. I have a 2009 toyota sienna with the 3.5 liter engine. Will the procedure be the same? Also, do i need to put rtv or gasket maker with the gasket or can i just use the gasket by itself? I've done a few oil pans and transmission pans before and i always just used the gasket without the rtv and/or gasket maker.
@@doja-3652 The gasket came with the rtv. I believe the reason is due to the low torque on the oil pan bolts. I would recommend it. Plus it helps hold the gasket in place. Let me know if you have any more questions.
@@c2155car I applied the sealant to the top and bottom of the gasket, so that it sealed to both the pan as well as the engine block. Thanks so much for checking the video out and for your comment. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

The sealant goes under the gasket and not on top of the gasket. Is that correct?
