Nikko Doan , bravo

Queen Live Aid '85. No autotune, no attitude, no fancy clothes. Just jeans and t-shirts plus the most talented musicians on the planet.
Lanir DeRose you made me feel old, cheers!
Absolutely
i personaly would say full of attitude, thats what makes queen , queen.
If it were happening today, all you'd see is mobile phones in the air lol
And Adidas shoes.
*1975 Bohemian Rhapsody is the #1 song*
*1992 Bohemian Rhapsody is the #1 song*
*2018 Bohemian Rhapsody **_is the #1 movie_*
letre favre one has to watch BR in a theater. The live aid scene at the end was very intense and very emotional at the same time. It doesn't get any better than that.
In the netherlands there is a top 2000 all time songs list since christmas 1999, and each christmas the new list comes out. Bohemian has always been on nr.1.
Exept for twice, the year with the je suis charlie terrorist attacks (that year it was imagine) and the year after that (hotel california). It is back at bohemian rhapsody now.
I just saw that movie today
Fucking legendary
1970s: He is a legend
1980s: He is a legend
1991: He is a legend
2010s: I am still a legend darling.
Powerful messege there
3070s:still a legend my lovelies
2019 He is a legend
2345 He is a legend
7000 He is a legend
He's Freddie Fucking Mercury
2018: i pity your wife if u think 40 years is enough
I was going to my first real job 25 years ago, driving through Bristol in England early in the morning after his death. The news came on the radio announcing his death, playing Bohemian Rhapsody afterwards. Stuck in a traffic jam, I saw nearly everyone mouthing the words to it with tears rolling down their face.
jca111 so cool.
Thanks for sharing this
jca111 Thats amazing ... Truly the send off he deserved
I'm 13 and love queen and Freddie mercury not because their music loves me too but because today's music suck
Nicolas Recinos You my friend have excellent taste in music
There will never be a voice like Freddie's. a true legendary singer
xLegendaryPete Robert Plant
taco 123...Mercury is better..
taco 123 I love Led zep , but there's no other like Freedie Mercury
Krista Mehanikova i still prefer freddie mercury, but freedie mercury is a good singer too.
xLegendaryPete yep.
Even when he's dead he can get crowd to go crazy. Thats talent. Man he was so talented. I hope he's enjoying the concert in heaven.
Not many can pull that off. That's Freddie for ya.
He came back from the great beyond
it only proves that people are empty inside these days.. just respect his death and listen to his music.. they are literally making millions off of a dead man...
fonkyman maybe they did but it was a nice tribute moment seeing him come back for a little bit
4 flatscreens... fuckit if you enjoyed it good for you :)
Most Singers: I empower my fans with relatable lyrics and beautiful stories that would make you cry.
Freddie: *HAAAAAAAAAAYOOOOO*
Ppl listening to most singers "ye what ever" ppl hearing *AAAAAYYYO* loses their shit. That's Mercury power right there
most underrated comment ever
Me anytime I see any hint of one of my friends:
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
In one interview Freddie says, no I don't read books who needs them anyway. A touch of the enlightened about him.
There is one fact people seem to be forgetting. Live Aid was not a Freddie Mercury concert, so not everyone was there to see him specifically and some may not of been his fans. If you watch his performance he had the entire audience eating out of his hand because fan or not they all knew how special it was. I don't think it has been, or even ever will be, matched.
I couldn't agree more. Like many, I watched Live Aid because it was for an important cause. All these years later, I remember how Queen lifted the event. They, and Phil Collins, are the only entertainers I remember.. And Bob Geldorf and Midge Ure, of course, as the organisers..
True. From that concert I only remember Queen, U2 and maybe Ultravox.
It's kinda weird because Queen were considered washed-up by 1985 --- but Live Aid had boring performances by supposedly young and refreshing stars like Madonna and U2 but it was the "washouts" Queen that ended up stealing the show
Queen and U2 in the same concert. What a jackpot.
Whats funny about Live Aid was everyone was restricted to a certain sound level. But Queen's sound man got under the stage and ripped it apart and turned Queen louder than anyone else. Was awesome.
*loses voice*
*sings like a powerhouse angel anyway*
Only Freddie Mercury 😂
SisAngel right!!! Like how he had throat problems at the live aid performance in 85 yet still killed it and no one knew he was going through a voice problem
SisAngel
@@charlesweinberg4263 Freddie Mercury with a voice problem is still greater than any singer to date. That kind of rock isn't even my preferred genre (apart from queen themselves of course, they transcend genre preferences) and I will happily concede him to be much better than any singer from my favourite genres.
take notes justin Timberlake !!
SisAngel so true
Such a strange feeling to miss someone you never met
Me too
The best moment when he said
-"When people stop buying our records, I'll do something else, may be I'll become a stripper"
-Which music would you use to strip?
-"All the songs I've written, come on"
Maybe*
Freddie said "I don't want to be a rock star, I want to be a LEGEND." Mission accomplished, Mr. Mercury.
Mission Passed Respect++
@@jeetrajgor2314 well he said popstar not rockstar.
there is only one top Freddie Mercury moment: his whole fu**ing life!
agreed:)
KyleKartan87 Absolutely 😊
KyleKartan87 records are meant to be broken
Jared Heath Do tell
Him being born should have been a spot XD
Did anyone else get emotional when he said "Thank you. Goodnight"? It's like he really saying goodnight to the world.
That One Unicorn : and he looks so sad.
10:10 :(
Damn you, now I've got onions stuck in my eye.
You should watch the These Are The Days of Our Lives video. It would be his last ever music video with Queen in 1991, and right at the end when he dips his head down, he mutters "I still love you" before walking off screen. THAT gives me chills.
Yes it was such a tragic loss
I'm gonna love freddie for the rest of my life
Same man
this is all good idea😂😉
this is all :: you bet.
Me too :>
And then when we die we'll converse with him in... What ever afterlife you believe in.
Freddie and Queen OWNED Live Aid. Sadly, I didn't see this as it happened as I was only 3 years old at the time, but I've seen their performance...and it was just mind blowingly brilliant. There will NEVER be anybody like Freddie again, just like there wasn't before he graced us with his epic presence.
***** I can imagine Zack-it looked like an amazing show.
One thing I've heard about Queen's Live Aid performance was during it backstage Elton John said they outright stole the show.
Well I AM old enough to have seen it. I was 13 at the time and Queen-obsessed, much to the laughter and bemusement of my classmates at school who were all into the bands of the time....U2...Simple Minds..Dire Straits,...etc.... Come monday morning at school after Live Aid.. Everyone... and I mean EVERYONE,,,was talking about Queen.
celt67 I was 10 when Freddie passed on and he was brilliant
I was 32 and watched it on TV, I was not a big Queen fan at the time but did like their music, but when I saw them on live aid I was gob smacked, they stole that show with ease.
"I'm not gonna be a star. I'm gonna be a legend."
Happy birthday Freddie, we still miss you
Ido Gilmore your comment made me cry 😢 #FreddieForever
Every day 💔
When is his birthday?
@@samfoor2033 September 4 I think
Freddie can sing 5 octaves , there are virtually no other people in the world that has that vocal range. I had the rare privilege to witness him sing. A very beautiful man.
lucky person, got a chance to see him rock on stage, my dream :')
Layne Staley hits those octaves also. Both incredible. But Freddie is my favourite.
Marc Martel..he can.
Lucky you! I saw the Beatles in 1965 right before I graduated H.S…….I missed a lot of the 80’s as I was lost in a drug fog…..M.T.V. And now U tube! Thank you! Freddie is a shining star in the galaxy who will forever shine upon us!!
Freddy Mercury is the greatest frontman in Rock n Roll history.
truth!
Standing Bull still is the from today and always will be Freddie Mercury is the best singer ever
JuicyLemonsHd 123 he's jealous he won't amount to even 0.01% of the man Freddie was.
11beardr I know that panhead guy is a sad little loser who dosent know what real music is
panhead...what's his sexuality got anything to do with his singing career??
The best thing about Freddie. Was how he was able to down a shot of vodka, and reach that explosive vocal range that he was famous for while on the verge of death. Some rockers would rather burn out than fade away. Freddie on the other hand wouldn't die without leaving a gigantic mark on music history.
Johnny Football He was and Still is a True LEGEND Ever Lived!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
Exactly.
"Some rockers would rather burn out than to fade away." Was that a Def Leppard reference or a Highlander reference.

@xSpaxy! yeah it was that one
i wish i existed when Queen preformed on live aid :")
I did but sadly I wasn't allowed to watch it. My dad was strict with the tv.
Same. I wish i was alive to have seen one of his performances
I saw them during their first American tour. 73 or 74 at the Columbus, Ohio Agora. I stood on stage...didn't thing they were that good at the time...
AshDoesStuff I feel the exact same wayyy!!
I existed. I was 1 years old
My favourite freddie mercury moments??
Everything darling. Every damn minute.
Every damn seconds darling
He fucking breathes and I have a heart attack
The interviews are fucking funny and Fred didn't give a single fuck
Amen
Live Aid wasn't "one of the finest performances of all time". It WAS and still IS the finest performance of all time.
It should be the standard by which all bands try to beat....... good luck with that one, hee
Nope. Michael Jackson performing live during Motown's 25th Anniversary show was the greatest performance of all time.
ruclips.net/video/d17ggav1Lto/видео.html
well just compare the crowds. I think it's obvious. (Not saying Michaels performance wasn't on spot, it was)
You're kidding me, right? You really think Michael Jackson lip syncing is a better LIVE performance than Queen at Live Aid? I don't think so. No comparison whatsoever. 1. He lip-synced 2. It was a choreographed show and 3. He had 0 interaction with the audience. Meanwhile, Freddie Mercury had nearly 200 thousand people singing and clapping along to "Radio Ga Ga" in sync. He captivated that entire audience like no other. And he captivated another entire audience in America at the same time. Lol. If I wanna hear the recorded version of "Billie Jean", I don't need to watch Michael Jackson lip syncing it.
*cough* Hendrix at Monterey *cough*
Justin beaber: I have a sore throught I cant performe for a month
Freddie mercury:I HAVE AIDS AND IM GOING TO SING TILL THE DAY I DIE!!!!!!!!!
who the hell even wants to go to his garbage performance
This is so true. Humanity has gotten so soft.
Bieber
Michael: I've sprained my ankle, and I can't dance to Remember The Time (which has insane choreography), but I still will perform in a wheelchair.
Freddie had an amazing work ethic
No frontman alive can hold a candle to Freddie Mercury.
+MorrYZayrr, the Bigoted Ruffian Mule-Man those are some fighting words there
Well, he is Mr. Fahrenheit. I don't think ANYONE could or can blow out his candle or hold on against his powerful flame.
You are so right. Freddie is the greatest frontman that ever lived!! I told this to a 19 year old just today. I am 62...lol. I told him all you need is the first 4 or 8 bars of his songs and you identify it. Can't do this with "singers" of today. If you can it's probably a cover...again lol...Queen was the enite package, writers, singers, world class musicians, showmen, and most of all did what they did for the fans. Period. Many ant interview bottom line was " our fans buy aour recors, and as long as they do then F*** everyone else". Freddie was purely magical, an enigma, something that we can't explain our love for him about to others. They think we arw crazy. People who are not familiar with Queen think yea well Axel Rose... no... Freddie...you clueless ass...lol
Xe M no shit he's dead
+Babaye eyaBaB Whatta we got here!? A fucking Kanye West fan!
Live Aid 1985, the 20 minutes when England was ruled by a different Queen.
get an original comment, bud, no offence
20 minutes the *entire World* was ruled by Queen.
... i have to add these : . Lets say, by the "RIGTH" "QUEEN"🥇🏆🥇 OF ROCK & ROLL AND THAT FOR THE WHOLE WORLD🫶
Freddie basically called Her his Wife...... he never wanted another woman.... he preferred men, but loved her dearly
Such a noble and respectful act
I hate when people ooh freddie is gay and then bruh he is like the most greatest like accept michael jackson
Prince Edward Gonzales Freddie is quite literally Michael Jackson level
Michael Jackson is Freddie level...but not really. Now Prince...that's a whole other thing.
Andrew Figueroa naaah You can debate music but Michael is popular among all races while Freddie isn’t known as much in the African American community
I wish you emphasized more on Freddie Mercury's musical efforts during his battle with AIDS. He recorded The Miracle in an early stage, and Innuendo during the later stages. To sing some of the lines he slammed a bottle of vodka to suppress the pain, and he also appeared in multiple video clips, with heavy make-up. And at the very end of it, he recorded enough miscellaneous lines to fill up another album, Made In Heaven. He almost literally went down, singing.
OrkTv Yea like Days of our lives and I'm going slightly mad
hhEheHeHEheheHEHE
gO to trutHConTEstcOM, reAd The pResEnt
Brian May tells this heartbreaking story about how Freddie sang the first two verses of Mother Love, on Made in Heaven, and then felt too tired to go on and said he'd do it later. That was the last session. Brian ended up singing the final verse for that song.
Innuendo and miracle were the same period.
True in my view. The Miracle was still 80s, while Innuendo was more mature, clearly, and showing more reflecting pieces, although "Was it all worth it" has a comparable message as "These are the days of our lives" and "The show must go on".
god, man. he was such a legend. i miss him
Heroes come and go, but Legends...They Never Die.
They just live long enough to see themselves become the villain.
heroes die and are remembered by history books but legends are immortal.
hero's always get rememberd but you know legends never die!
New singers: *sneezes* gotta cancel the show
Freddie: *dying of AIDS* let's make some music darling
IKR new singers are wimps. Freddie is a legend beyond the word.
Didn't actually like fat bottomed girls, STILL did his job. :)

@@laviniajockers4169 this comment broke my heart😭😭😭😭💔
Nobody talks about Queen at Wembley? This show is so underated it got the same quality as Live Aid but 6 times the run time.
It's just because Live Aid was broadcast live to over a billion people.
That's a significant factor in that performance because Freddie was literally born for it.
Merely playing to 72,000 people a year later is easy by comparison!
Neither of these compare to Montreal 1981 in my opinion. That concert had some of the best performances by Queen and Freddie.
Live Aid was the best total set - definitely no argument there!!!
My personal favorite live song is “Somebody to Love - Montreal - 81” . It’s magical!!!
Am I the only one who STILL gets goosebumps when I hear Queen?? It started as a kid and I’m 48 now!!!
Me too... started as kid and I'm 48 y old now.
Goosebumps... Everytime.
Whenever I hear Barcelona it brings tears to my eyes so AMAZING!
Same
If you have the opportunity listen to him sing “Somebody...” live at Milton Keynes. The intro is just stunningly beautiful and passionate.
Nic Ann : You’re right, I was there and it , he was fantastic !
The show must go on, Freddy. RIP
*FreddIE*
It never really went on without him
Freddie'sMyMoto true......never will go on without him❤❤❤❤

It's impossible not love Queen and Freddie, they are one of the few bands to reach perfection!
“Hero's get remembered, but legends never die.”
-Babe Ruth
And yes, they were and will both be legends.
Panic at the Disco
When I read your comment, all I could think of was The Sandlot, lol.
An angelic legend
Missed a lot
Created songs still of reverence today
Both? Wait,...who else passed? Not one of Queen? I hope. I hope. I hope!
Never mind. Took me a minute, that’s all. RIP, Freddie Mercury, AND RIP, Babe Ruth.
Love how Americans stereotype the British to think we all have teeth like freddie... Nobody in Britain deserves teeth like Freddies none of us are worthy enough!
Chantelle Tyson He wasn’t English anyway.
I have never heard anyone stereotype that
@@RiamiAurum no he wasn't
@@RiamiAurum Well of course, but what I meant was that he wasn't white. He was Parsi Indian

Yes ladies and gentlemen... Freddie ... A true legend ... His death (25 years ago to this day) still hurts the music industry till this day ... Only a few in history came close to his greatness. .. RIP Freddie. . You are sorely missed 😢
“It had been over 2 decades since Freddie Mercury had left the stage we mortals call life.” I don’t know what it is but I love that phrasing. Maybe It’s because the stage was his life, he was meant to entertain people.
"Goodbye everybody. I've got to go.Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth." This makes me cry. 😭😭
Freddie Mercury is the only human who can make me cry only by the sound of his voice. I love him and I also love Queen. Greatest band ever!!!!
I LOVE TO EAT ASS
I will never, EVER forget seeing Queen at Live Aid (on t.v.) in 1985. I knew then and there, at that moment in time, my generation would make Rock History. To understand the magnitude, one has to understand the sheer number of music legends, being broadcasted simultaneously around the world, for the first time ever, how utterly wonderful you already THOUGHT it was, and then ...... KABOOM!!!!! QUEEN .... and A MILLION EXCLAMATION POINTS EXPLODE! RIP Freddie.
katsleggs Freddie and queen ruled the world for 20 minutes ... 1.95 BILLION (1/3 of the planet) stood still to watch Queen ... with such awe ... a whole other level completely the only way to
describe Queen... ❤️🙏🏻
I was watching too. I pity those who didn't live that experience. So much talent all for one cause. But -- it was Queen that raised the bar and turned an "important to watch" event into a joy to watch..
Same here. I was completely mesmerized by Freddie. The way he commanded that audience and even had the Philly auidience clapping along. I still get chills watching that. They were considered to be washed up. Well Freddie proved them all wrong..He owned it! I love and miss the 80s. You can go and not worry if someone is going to blow up or shoot a gun. You could bring in a flag and wave it. No phones. You participated. Such great times. I even bought the Live Aid DVD collection
Agreed. As a gen-xer, i remember: "Ooh, *cable,* lol! Ooh, *MTV!!"* 😂 So, i thank you for this comment. Lately, i've been feeling more & more agitated when ppl comment that they've seen Queen 15x or U2 25x, etc. So, this comment has really restored my gratitude! i saw "Live Aid" *LIVE* !!!! Thx again.
#GratitudeAttitude 😌 💞
My mom watch Live Aid on TV, too. She recorded a lot of it on VHS, so I have the original live recording of parts of Live Aid somewhere in my basement
The greatest singer ever, God bless you man. You'll always be here. A voice, a presence and a legacy like this will never die. Forever the GOAT
The only man who could wear short shorts and be taken seriously
I dunno, Sir Bobby Moore and his England teammates winning the '66 World Cup in short shorts worked fine!
If someone says to you "describe Freddie in one word"
You have to say "legend".
Raiyaan Saleheen multifaceted
There will never be anyone like him again :(..R.I.P. Freddie
They broke the mold when they made Freddie Mercury . I don't know if we will ever see greatness like him ever again
Scientifically, probably not. They've determined that he did things with his voice that no human should have been able to.....
It has been 31 years since he passed on but still rocks our hearts like never before. R.I.P Freddie Mercury, you will never be forgotten.
I genuinely can't pick my favorite Freddie moment. His voice has never been bettered...
"Left the stage we mortals call life"
Nothing, nothin to say about that
I wish the narrator would shut the fuck up!
Richard Easterling I wish you’d shut the fuck up
Mortals is the key word there
Watching this made me miss Freddie Mercury all over again. There has been, and probably will never be, no other performer with the talent and depth of Mercury's skills and presence. And the music of Queen stands as some of the most original music I've ever heard. I still listen to Queen on a daily basis. Long live Queen.
Freddie, Brian, Roger & John together made Queen legendary. Each one worked together (and argued together) to make their unforgetable sound. Freddie's voice was amazing. RIP Freddie.
One amazing singer. One of a kind.
actually, that's been proven scientifically now as well. Audio specialists have found that he did things with his voice that no one has been able too and shouldn't have been able to....
Try 1975 and then again in 1985. Great guy X
Muskoka Mike do you know where i can find it?
Eric Schmit nicely put :)
Borat was supposed to play him in a movie. What an epic one it would've been to.
Freddie Mercury is the true definition of an ICON/LEGEND!!!
Weird that Thanksgiving day is on the date of Freddie's death. Well, I am thankful for Freddie Mercury and Queen all the way. As much as I am thankful for my family!
Flamestar320 power to the people I was thinking the same thing
we had thanksgiving a month ago in Canada, we got to watch your debates on our thanksgiving lol
Isn't thanksgiving the 2nd last Thursday of November? If so, it's not really the same date, just this year it is
it's actually the last thursday
mk6rfc1 it's the fourth Thursday of every November. Seriously check your calendar.
It's 2021, he is still legendary.
Brb, crying. 😭🥰
It’s 2023 and he’s still legendary ❤
What a fantastic voice!! Proof that it is possible to sing without autotune and carry an entire concert at that. Amazing band. Never be another one like Freddie. Ever.
Check out Marc Mantel! He isn't our dear Freddie, but I say he carries on the legacy.
Sami - Marc imitates - Freddie was an original
OMG, his voice quality is amazing, even today's singers dont have this
kind of voice
Today's singers can't sing....
I think Brendon Urie has some pretty amazing quality. Not to say that mercury doesn't cause that would be a damn lie but I don't think all are trash
Not all are trash, but none can hold a candle to Freddie.
Kahlia Lemmon Brendon's rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody was really good
Kahlia Lemmon Brendon Urie is amazing
Damn right! no one can outshine Freddie Mercury
And no one will.
no disrespect but Michael Jackson?
+King .Azi not even close
Absolute crap!!!!
King .Azi Lol no. Michael is a great performer but his voice and range is like 1/4 or Freddie's.
I love this man so much. My heart aches for Freddie Mercury. I can’t get enough. True fan!
Quarter a century ago I cried.
And he was the only celebrity who made me cry.
A legend was no more. :-(
Quargelbrot1 legends never die
Same for me. Even now when I watch a video like this I feel sad. Don't have that reaction for any other celebrity or rock star.
For me, it's partly because he was genuinely an amazing and selfless person (rare with celebrities, especially ones as renowned as Freddie) but had such a sad life, few true friends, always having to hide the truth of his sexuality and for years being hounded by the press about his condition. But through it all he remained stoic and true to himself...a true legend.
Capnsensible80 yeah, he was a very humble person, and to some degree even shy - but damn he was able to turn on some switch, when he went on stage to perform!
Quargelbrot1 don williams
the only disagreement i can have with this is Live Aid was not "probably" the greatest moment ,it definitively was the greatest musical performance in history!
Here is another great Freddy Mercury moment. I was watching an interview with Elton John with him talking about about Freddy. The Christmas of year Freddie Mercury died Elton John received in the mail a a present that Freddie had bought for him from an artist that Elton collected and there was note that said "Sharon Hope you love this Love Malena"
To me that story shows what type of person Freddie was that even while he was dying he was still thinking of those closest to him and trying to bring a little bit of joy to their lives.
thepayne78 Freddie not Freddy holllly crap !!!!!
Hard to believe it's been 30 years since us fans lost, in my opinion - the most talented performer ever.
A gentle sweet man as well. ❤️
So who else is here cuz they're binge-watching Freddie Mercury videos after seeing Bohemian Rhapsody?
Me
I just can’t get enough of songs and interviews
Disney Chick I... can’t..... stop......
Me
Disney Chick, try BEFORE seeing Bohemian Rhapsody, but AFTER seeing Queen live with Adam Lambert as the front man
Have him seen 3 times live... best moments in my lifetime
Gordium oh my god you’re so lucky, he died before i was ever born and i will forever regret never hearing his brilliance in real life.
I saw him live 3 times also ,best concerts ever!
@@Cerenmorningstar I saw them at MSG in NY in September 1980, the week "The Game" went to No.1. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I too saw him perform 3 times and also the best moments of my life. I have all their albums and my kids know him but not for who he was. They will now. Freddie was the game changer! And Adam Lambert will keep the band alive. He is doing a great tribute to Freddie and now let’s let him turn it on as well.
How lucky were you...
Died before his time but his music has made him immortal. Legend of a man, there will never be another Freddie Mercury RIP.
Queen will always be legends - because of Freddy's voice but also because they created magic together.....
Perhaps not a Mercury moment, more a Queen moment, but the fact that MTV banned their video I want to break free, because they were in drag made them stop touring in USA.
😢
And it wasn't even Freddies idea to do that but Roger Taylors is the funny thing!!! We Americans suck for doing that to Queen!!
Sigh. America is so ridiculous.
MTV? what an oxymoron..
@@mrrebel5150 It used to actually air.... wait for it....... seriously........ Music videos. All day every day. And much fun was had by all.
If any person could be brought back, I would want it to be him. I miss this guy.
But he would be 69 by now and well past his prime. As sad as it was that he left us so early, at least we can now forever remember him at the top of his game, without old age taking that away from him.
I hope Mick Jagger doesn't read this! LOL
Quotenwagnerianer Look up Steven Tyler performing on American Idol a few years back.
Quotenwagnerianer, I know what you're saying and even appreciate some truth in it, namely, that we will always see him as he looked in the prime of life. That said, I'm not sure he would have lost any of his vocal prowess or charisma. I think we've lost out on much, not only Queen & rock songs but had Freddie lived, I imagine he'd have continued to explore new genres.
@Quotenwagnerianer : yeah, he would be old by now, but think of all the music he could have made in the 90's and 00's... we would have so much more to listen to
There’ll never be another...
Oh hey, look, Freddie Mercury Jr! He leads the rock band Princess.
Something insanely sad I just thought of....another Freddie MIGHT be out there right now! But he'd never break into the business looking the way he did back then. They'd make him get a nose job, new teeth and try to strip away any unique qualities before he touched a stage and that's a damn shame.
Of course there will. He doesnt want to read that. He has to reincarnate you know.
There can be only one
Mark Martell
It’s really hard to explain why he was so awesome he just was like just the energy he had was magical
Under pressure was written when both Mercury and Bowie were hammered in a bar and they've written it while drunk
Wrong it was written during a jam session in there music studio in Montreux, Switzerland.
John Deacon created the bassline. There are lines some parts that were originally from that Roger Taylor's unfinished song. Only Brian who backed out but still played the guitar.
And they were doing a hefty amount of coke that weekend.
where did you pull that out of??. They went into a studio and each recorded separate pieces without knowing what the other was recording..except Freddie cheated and heard a bit of what David had done and complemented it
They both enjoyed the booger sugar.. it's not that hard to comprehend
The Greatest. Without any doubt.
MCP/ChronicBuzz The King of Pop 👑, Michael Jackson.
em chen bah
Idk I think it’s mercury but the existence of Robert Plant makes in not unanimous
Opinion, so.... Doubt is built in.
I agree however closely followed by bono
I miss him so much and yet he was gone six years before I was even born. It breaks my heart that I’ll never have the privilege of watching him and Queen live in concert. What an incredible feeling that must have been. Truly an absolute legend and his legacy will never die. I can’t wait to hear your voice in heaven one day, Mr. Mercury ♡
This!
Hey. Try to find the video in reelz. Or on Netflix ...gooood video which actually gives Freddie his real lifetine...
Still amazing
+Grace Very sweet and beautiful comment
Grace Leonard Same. If only we could get into a time machine and change that...
There was and never will be anyone as fabulous as Freddy. RIP. Miss you.
Breaks my heart that I will never see queen perform in my life
cai thomas well the band still preform just without Freddie Mercury. They preform with a American Idol singer now.
Same here. :(
@@captcrais101 And that's why it would never be the same. Sure, it's great the others are still going at it, but without Freddie....it just feel right.
Same :(
Honestly🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️❗️
41 year old American here saying Freddie Mercury Live Aid performance was the greatest planet earth has ever seen.
20 year old American agreeing with you 50000%
46 year old American agreeing with you. I'll NEVER forget it.
@paris snow Paris just RUclips Queen live Aid and watch.
71 yr old agrees!
50 year old here saying it was also.lol
I went to the cinema to watch "The Greatest Showman", but was let down when I found out it was all about P.T. Barnum and not Freddie Mercury. 😞
That movie sucked.
Not trying to be a dick but what made you think that movie was about Freddie Mercury? I mean, the circus setting kinda gives away that the movie is about PT Barnum.
@@akilbrazier1421 Oh, yeah, I'm not sure why I missed that, especially with all those domestic mini-tigers he kept in his mansion. I hope he keeps any "Shape of Water" creatures away from the mini-tigers, less he wants them to be eaten.
Well then, aren't you an idiot if you didn't know who the greatest showman is about. And if you did, and you were just trying to be funny..... didn't work.
@@josefernandez7840 Trying to be witty, not funny. Relax son. Not trying to make fun. If you are dying from AIDS im sorry, not trying to make light. If you couldn't pick up on that. You might want to develop your sense of wordplay before you open your mouth.
Freddie Mercury and David Bowie. 2 Legends in Heaven. RIP
Man, the decade to come will be a f**** rock funeral without endind....
freddie said he wanted to go to hell
I love that they used new technologies to bring Freddie Mercury to the stage for everyone to see him perform many years later.........Go Mr.Fahrenheit....😎😺
Best entertainer, best frontman, best singer...just amazing! None like him.
I believe in terms of showmanship and being a frontman and entertainer, Matt Bellamy of Muse is as close as you can to carrying Freddie's torch

Indeed
Michael Jackson?
I never have a chance to meet Mr Mercury in fresh, because I was born 9 years after his death. But what Mr. Mercury did inspire me so much, and his songs, just keep living through times, and brings me more passionate, more belief. My dad was a Queen's fan, and he told me that standing in the Wembley stadium at the Live Aid concert, watching Freddie dancing and sing "We are the champion" is one of the most beautiful things he had ever done. Your legacy as well as the Queen will live forever
Every other singer: "I love you all, I am about to perform a song for you all."
The crowd: *Silence*
Freddie Mercury: *Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhyooooo!*
The crowd: *Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhyooooo!!!*
AAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOO
AAAAAYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOO
*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!*
@JORDAN SMITH SAME AS WELL
@JORDAN SMITH Oh no, great music is great music, regardless of what it is!
After all these years I still miss Freddie and I can´t hear The Show must go on without a Tear coming in my Eye. God bless your Soul Freddie, wherever you are!
Michael Jackson is the King of Pop...
And Freddy Mercury is the King of Music.
Don't you mean the queen of music? That seems like the title he would have liked better ... 😉
LillyTheLonelySock unkind and unnecessary comment. Shame on you!
@@islandliferelaxation6257 Don't worry, I'm fine with it!!
@@islandliferelaxation6257 I meant it as a simple correction for and compliment to his royal majesty Freddie Mercury. Shame on you for thinking I would do otherwise! As far as I'm concerned, even though he has past away no other can ever inherit his crown or title!
@@islandliferelaxation6257 he definitely would have referred to himself as queen
Nobody has, or ever will, do a live act like Freddie and Queen!. The best.
I agree but Muse comes close
The Beatles.
Go search Marc Martel, it's UNCANNY!
I'll do it
Which Freddie Mercury movements are your favourite?
Me: "All of em"
I hate opera
@@judithryle2113 I like it

💜
@@judithryle2113 what does that have to do with the price of cheese?
In honor of his birthday today (Sept 5), I'd have to say his greatest moment was the day he was born.
Shit, I have the same birthday as Freddie flipping Mercury and I never knew it!
Such a legend
ya
HE IS NOT ONE OF THE GREATEST... HE IS THE GREATEST EVER!!!
Certainly the best pop singer ever. When I try to think of voices I'd put in the same league, I think of opera stars, jazz singers and some of the US Brat Pack. All very different disciples. And none of them were also composers..
Bernadette Parnell I lost brain cells reading that
Freddie: Mary is my only friend
Brian: um...
John: ....
Roger: Well shit
Oh man. I was definitely born too late. I would love to have seen this legend perform live. Live Aid was a fantastic performance... Freddie's memory and legacy will never fade away!
ThEASbO888 relatable
ThEASbO888 Freddie lives forever in our hearts and minds
Anyone here after watching the movie?
Masterpiece.
Yes I came here because of the movie not to say what a wonderful film it is, but to say the actor as Freddie sucks, he emphasized so much on the upper teeth and his bottom lip sunk in, his mouth is to small and not have the hunk Freddie is, Freddie had beautiful eyes that's what I love the best and his little dimples, all in all not really happy the movie didn't do Freddie any justice.
@@MariaRamos-xp7rp I like how your reason why you think the actor is bad is that hus teeth were wrong. Also, everything was basically on point, and he did a great job at playing Freddie. Just look at the live aid scene compared to the real thing.
Rami did an absoluty brilliant job as Freddie!
Maria Ramos Are you dumb... Rami did an absolutely amazing performance in Bohemian Rhapsody.
The movie need to put all of their journey..
But why roger and freddie didn't seem like bestfriend?
Freddie Mercury. The greatest singer and sexiest man of all time
He was the absolute alpha male. His pure presence alone was enough to make other men think to themselves "well, can't compete with that".
freibier no he was gay
So, WTF does that have to do with it? Alpha Males can be gay. It's about raw charisma, leadership, attraction, captivating the crowd & inspiring loyalty. Sexual orientation doesn't matter...
FreddyKurganNimmo no you have to be straight
No. It doesn't really matter. He was sexy and I think attractive to both genders. He was a very good looking man and moreover he was bisexual. It doesn't matter because if a man is sexy you can clearly see it, same if a woman is sexy.
There are 2 reasons Freddie is greatest singer AND front man of all time, first it's not only his amazing 4 octave vocals but such as breath control, vibrato, and tone but also, and secondly, he can control crowds/whole stadiums with just him scatting. There will never be another like him
