Ok I thought I was the only person that LOVES Stutter Edit! Great vid and track! I tried trance but it came out hip hop on my review, lol This was nice PH! Blessings!
Great job and review. However why do I dislike 90 percent of all NI libraries ?! They all sound so cold, overprocessed and cheap. There is no character in most of their libraries. If I wanted to create something great with them it would take way more time compared to using libraries from OT, Spitfire etc. Really really disappointed, even though that library is for free at the moment.
I'm not going to say that they're a bad producer, but you can't really get something good out of a quick composition like this one. You need a decent amount of composition to start benefiting from the plugin. I'm not a good producer nor do I have any background in music production, but I feel like the video is undermining what really is a pretty decent plugin, because he just doesn't have enough layers and it sounds surprisingly bland.
I guess it depends on what you're going for. I'd agree the Spitfire libraries are amazing, but their whole premise is realism and you def PAY for it. NI's instruments are def gear towards their target markets.
@@producerhat Btw I might have been harsh relating to your comp. It's not my style but it's not bad tbh. It's just that some of the epic dystopian/utopian futuristic music that I might expect out of this type of plugin wasn't shown in this video. I liked it tho 😁
No but as with any Play series instrument you can set the sequencer up in a specific key and then it doesn’t matter what you press - all arps will be in that key.
great presets! what do you think?

I’m still figuring out the ins and outs of Stutter Edit but it’s def great for movement! Your review def had some hip hop vibes but it was dope.
beautiful man.. could see you're having fun
I appreciate that, thank you
I love Native Instruments! I have Komplete 14. 😊
The best!
Found you from your battle with Nathan, I think he only just pipped you on that one (hee hee) but your mix was dope.. Sub'd. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate ya!
These play series is going hard on these expectations

Great tutorial music👍
Glad you think so!

also realize I attempted to make an entire composition using mostly 1 plugin to showcase it. let's look at the whole picture here ;)

Maybe I missed this, but what are you using for drums?
Great question! The Rare Vibrations expansion by Native Instruments for the kicks and snaps/rim. A top loop from Splice for the hats.
@@producerhat Thanks brother
Sweeeet
Glad you liked it
Sounds like an Emu rack synth from 2000. Great if you want old skool stuff, but sounds pretty old though...
Does it show the notes because I don't know music theory but if I see the notes I will know what notes to use
Not entirely sure what you mean?
@@producerhat does it show the notes on the white keys

No, what you see on my video is exactly what you’ll get.
@@producerhat I need to check that out
I released a new song called Untouchable Love on my channel. 😅
i'll have to go check it out! :)
