Wow man! So happy that you hit my pond, first in video. Yeah you filmed the shallow side that I normally don’t fish this time of year but if you keep working it you should stay deeper. Over by the drain, and work your way around to the north side Swimmers, top water, shallow cranks and blades jigs work great You might not catch a lot of fish there but you’ll get some quality fish
@@TylersReelFishing there’s like 6-8 fishing holes. You have to hike through the vegetation to get close enough to the bank. But yeah In the spring it’s pop’s there. I always catch at least 1 fish there Not pressured at all
@@derekjackson1039 lol nothing stops me, I wear boots and jeans and walk through those tall weeds to get where I want. Only problem is struggling to cast. I use a long rod for that

There's something about you that reminds me of Granger Smith. You kind of seem like you could be his younger brother. Maybe he will let you fish at his pond and bring him along for some fishing. That would be cool.
Such educational and entertaining videos Tyler ! I'm new to bass fishing so your Channel is my go to for information! Thanks for these pond videos! Don't have a boat to fish from yet so I'm loving these! Keep up the great content! Thanks!
I do not have the opportunity to fish lakes very often, but I fish ponds all the time. I really appreciate these videos more than you can imagine. Thanks Tyler!
Awesome vid Tyler I’m hoping to get the Lew’s Mach 2 combo for Christmas and I’m most likely going to use that for jigs I’m going to get it in 7’ Medium heavy action
Really love to see someone who lives in Texas fishing local areas maybe you can make your way around San Antonio. But this series is very informative and the channel is becoming one of my favorite 🤘
In my humble opinion, starting out as a bank fisherman as a kid and finally getting a boat many yrs later made me a better fisherman. And we’re always learning and being educated by guys like #TRF and some others I follow. But pond hopping and walking canals can be a grind and definitely gets ya in shape lol! Thanks for the content Tyler, your channel ROCKS!
I know this video is a year old but I've got a wonderful series of ponds. The biggest pond is on top of a mountain and it flows down to the next and so forth. I'm in Atkins va and these ponds are public property but not many folks know about it and even if they did, you've got to hike up a steep hill and most people are lazy. It's a very unique, very isolated set of muddy Appalachian ponds that are overflowing with bass and many other spieces. I'd love to fish with ya someday man!
Tyler, i bet everyone wants this to happen but it is for you to make ur own merch with Aftco or someone. something with ur logo or something like that would be amazing!! much love tyler, always making amazing videos
My boy Tyler I been working hard at the refinery’s and haven’t had not break for fishing hopefully this Christmas I do because this TX weather in Houston been crazy hot the next and cold 😂but I always check up on the videos you always have some tips for me and the boyys but mad respect bother for making context for this young bass fisherman hopefully you remember me from them summer days when I had the break but either way love 2 you brother 💯💪
If you ever past Louisiana (Baton Rouge) we have a big pond/lake you can come and fish… it’s a new subdivision and the lake hasn’t been touch since they just build the subdivision. LMK

It would be good for beginners to do episodes starting with winter and so on, make transitions as the seasons change the environment in the bodies of water and in the behavior of the bass .... Greetings and many Blessings from Puerto Rico, your videos have helped me a lot 🤙🏽🎣🔥
Love your videos @tylersreelfishing. Can you please explain why you wouldn’t opt for using some sort of float in the super shallow water to help the lure not sink quite as quickly?
Tyler would you consider making a list of the ponds you visited within this series that were within the DFW area to include their exact location? I would like to visit these ponds myself since I too live in the DFW area. It would be great since you provide a great insite for which ponds would yield a good result. Thanks in advance.

I have a pond in Wichita Falls Tx. Its called Plum Lake. I have caught a few small bass. But I have been told there is some big ones in there. TPWD just recently stock some channel cat and next week they'll be stocking trout.
I live in Alvord Texas. Wise county. We have the federal grassland. With several pond/small lakes. Come fish the grasslands. You've never been here!, plenty of bass and crapp8.
Good time to finesse jigging. Went to visit my family in Arlington TX for Thanksgiving just caught a nice 4 pounder at a neighborhood pond yesterday. It was 🥶
Awesome video dude. I'd love for you to come fish the lake on my army base in Kentucky, at Fort Knox. It's called Lower Douglas Lake. It's a 73 acre natural/man managed lake.. I will go ahead and email you all the specifics. Hopefully we can fish together one day.
I've got a lake for you that is tough for large mouth. Briar creek lake in berwick Pennsylvania. I've only caught 2 large mouth outta there. If you like catching crappie though there's plenty of them.
I have 0 confidence in some of my lures(ie:spinners, jigs), what's the best way to gain confidence besides the obvious which would be catching fish with them? Not sure I'm Using them at the right time either.

I find that blade baits work super well in my pond anytime the water is under 50*. As well as lipless cranks. I also use quite a few drop shots, which is not my favorite way to fish as it is super slow!! But it does work in the cold. Love what you do jj
