    • @Fishfarts_AZ
      @Fishfarts_AZ 2 года назад +1

      Swim jigs I go verticle to make it through grass easier. Fishing the bottom or wood like a football jig or flipping jig I do horizontal. If I think I'm running into both I go horizontal so there is less chance of getting hung up in wood

    • @BassFishingHQ
      @BassFishingHQ  2 года назад +1

      Football jig is great for dragging on rock and shell bottoms. I have also stroked a football jig on deeper structure. It’s also the jig I typically will use hoping down a rock bluff. It’s not going to come through grass the best. If I am fishing around wood that is offshore I typically go with a structure jig or Arkie style jig

Jigs, plastics(worms, and creature for flipping), crank baits, and spinnerbaits Those are 4 lures you need really fish with, practice with, and try get as good as possible. This will put you ahead of the curve. 4 true , and tried big bass killers!

    Some good info, didn't know crawfish spawn at 50-55 degrees , fished two lakes this weekend, Dale Hollow and Lake Tansi both in Tennessee , water tempos were 46 and 39 respectively , in colder temps do you down size your jig and trailer and how slow do you fish them when its this cold?

    • @BassFishingHQ
      @BassFishingHQ  2 года назад +1

      I definitely downsize a lot in that situation Mike! Usually I am fishing a 1/4 oz finesse jig with a smaller junk trailer. If you watched the video I did on the 4 S of cold water fishing. I pretty much talk about what you are referring to

    • @BassFishingHQ
      @BassFishingHQ  2 года назад

      That can be difficult depending on the depth of the milfoil and if you are fishing from a boat. Usually one of the better patterns is pitching to outside milfoil lines but you typically are making small pitches and not long casts
