Good idea on the Anisette. I only had Langoustine tails to cook with once. (Doc Martin's Taos NM) But I'm a big fan of Ouzo, and pairing it with sweet shellfish, especially scallops.
No way in hell I would challenge BF with chimichangas, or anything Espenglese (Spanglish) He's too comfortable with that, and I'd want to throw him off. If I ever got the chance, which I never good, because I'm not that successful a chef. Still, you can't help watching a competition, and thinking about what plays you'd try.
Zaire Ra-Horakhty I didn’t like the show cuz when the “anonymous” voting would go on, Flay would make arrogant type of faces when the judges would talk about his dish and he would always win cuz of that! Like one of the episodes I saw was on flourless cake and the guy Flay was up against us a dessert maker and is a food writer in Paris and when you looked at their desserts, Flays was burnt looking and gross but he still won! Why? Cuz the judges didn’t find the other guy’s cake that sweet🤨🧐
