- In today's Achievement Hunt we'll be tackling one of the more interesting Crash Bandicoot games. Crash Of The Titans was the very first Crash game to reach Xbox 360!
Experiencing this game for the first time, we take on many new creatures, unlock some fun Achievements and re-think our decisions with playing on the hard difficulty first.
I really enjoyed this title and was really happy to finally experience it. Even though many weren't too fond of the game, it still had some really fun elements and it was something different.
So come along, watch me struggle with the unbalanced difficulty and obtain many Achievements for the Xbox 360 collection.

I remember this game being on different consoles, I played it a lot when I was a child I never beat the game but I loved the humor.
Always loved playing it on the PSP! I never got to play it on the consoles, so it was an entirely different game for me. The humour was fantastic in this game. 😂
I can not unheard grim when Aku Ali talks. Also these redesigns have always bothered me especially Tiny’s.
Completely understand that! I didn't mind Aku Aku & Uka Uka, but yeah Tiny bothered me too. 🤣

@@MICHEALKARLIS Mind Over Mutant is ridiculously easy on hard. Like it's an actual joke compared to Titans.
You can also dodge roll and the combat overall is a lot more balanced. I had a fun time getting all of the Achievements. Even ended up maxing out all upgrades for the Titans + the hero Titans.
Oh boy... sooo much memories. I was 4, maybe 5 at the most, when I first played the very first episode of Crash Bandicoot. I had all three parts of the trilogy, and although I loved them, I didn't feel the same desire as I did for Crash of the Titans, because they were already at my fingertips, I took them for granted. When I was 8 or 9, I wrote a letter to Santa Claus saying that this was the one I wanted the most, I didn't care if I didn't get anything else, but let me have this game for Christmas😂
Unfortunately I can't remember if I got it back then, I don't even remember if it was original or downloaded and copied (shh...👀) BUT I GOT IT! I was so happy as I saw the trailer on the internet at the time, it was love at first sight, there was no question I wanted it.
Every single moment was an experience, discovering what or how you can do certain things in the game. I've always noticed that there's another HP strip on the right edge of the HUD, just lighter... When I found out after an innocent experiment that there was co-op, I lost my mind I was so happy that my sister and I could play together😇
However, looking at the game objectively, excluding emotions, both camps are right: it had nothing to do with the original Crash Bandicoot gameplay, the characters were right, but that's about it. But if you put that aside and forget what the original was like, I think you got a really good end result: it was spectacular, it was action-packed, I remember I couldn't get past halfway through the game, so it was hard.
But overall, it was well done. However, with Mind over Mutant, I didn't feel the same "hype" from myself (and I've only aged a few years since I got Titans). There were a few elements that were improved, at the most the storage of 1 mutant, or the fact that the game wasn't divided into maps but you could walk around freely, through missions. New mutants, familiar gameplay etc. But still... if I had to choose between the two I'd almost certainly go for Titans. It's nice to see that other people are playing it, even after many years after these two games in particular haven't aged very well. I’m gonna admit I loved this game and still think it was amazing odd choice was tiny though and that death laugh always haunted me 😭 I wasn’t a skilled player so dying to the first boss was constant
Tiny was hilarious! Haha. As much as I don't like the new rework, I still think it was pretty funny they did that to him. 🤣
Yesss dude! I heard it so many times haha. Even in today's times I wasn't skilled, I cut out so much but the hard difficulty for this game was challenging. 😅
2:37 To me it looks like they're dragging him to Cortex but the cage is too heavy. 16:00 Not only could you have done better with light attacks, you could have just ran inside to end the "episode" 29:41 You could've blocked that actually.

@@MICHEALKARLIS uhhh yeah, you do mainly want to do light attacks with Scorporilla in both games but in general you'll be surprised by how easy Mind Over Mutant is.

@@MICHEALKARLISYess! I remember playing this game when I was about 6-7 years old still holds a lot of nostalgia for me and put a lot of time into it as a kid. I’ll admit things could’ve been done a lot better to smooth things out and general improvements but I don’t know why it gets as much hate as it gets. This was the 2000’s era of ps2 games and crash and Spyro were getting given to random game devs to make games fast and change a whole lot about the series at once. Looking back it’s crazy to see how many ps2 games were actually rushed and made every year I feel like that was one of the problems with this game as well. But it also sucks because smaller game devs or small groups of them could put alot of heart and hard work into ps2 games for way cheaper and put out a banger game. Different times now sadly :/ but I just bought this game last night on my Xbox 360 that I dug up and got the legend of Spyro before the 360 marketplace gets shut down next year😆
This game was a masterpiece honestly, and its so unfair how people treated it just for not being more of the same

I recently finished the game and went for the 100% completion on the hardest difficulty as well... let's say its a pain to keep dying by two hits , especially when the titans decides to jump you all at once.. pause
Nice! Congratulations on that 100%, it's not the most difficult but yep completely agree, it was a pain. I thought it was a little unbalanced but this may be due to the other ports and port this possibly being rushed. Still a terrific game though! 🔥
@@MICHEALKARLIS Titans had the better visual locations and mutant had the better gameplay mechanics thats the Best way I can describe the 2 games ( also a bit of a different topic might help if you try and make a video for mutant one of the challenge was to shoot a large projectile ( which oneshots btw ) using the co-op mask which was something I never knew you could do in that game and I played it as a kid more than I can count )
Hell yeah crash titans is my childhood game. I saw a channel caddicarus talking about crash games but bad ones and this one was one of then
Definitely one of my favourites. Yeah I've seen some really negative things about this game. I can understand why, but it's so unique and had so much going for it. I still loved it, even if the reviews weren't the best. 🙂
When taking off rose tinted glasses Tag Team is pretty bad imo

Yes! Highly recommend man, some absolute bangers on the older consoles. It was definitely different! Not as tough as those traditional games, but difficult enough to keep you captivated.

Believe it or not, it was my 3rd crash games to be honest and correct it was the 2nd crash titans game, and back in the days, I was playing day and night. Even when I did a challenge for myself to beat every crash game I had, it was the first game I chose ( again, I am referring to ( Crash: Mind Over Mutant )). And if you ask if I did a video about it, the answer is ( yes and no ) I did, but I deleted it by mistake 😅😂😢😊.

My man knows what's up! Some are actually a little pricey, but don't you worry, got them in the pile waiting to be recorded. 👀💯
I’ve managed the platinums for omniverse 1 and 2, cosmic destruction and vilgax attacks. VA and rise of hex are 360 exclusive, but you can’t get Hex anymore because it was removed from the Xbox store years ago after I foolishly deleted it. You can get everything else is on PlayStation, because I know that you like to go for obscure platinums. Thankfully I kept all my other Ben 10 games. I have every Ben 10 game and the only one I’m missing is rise of hex and traded in vilgax attacks for the Xbox years ago and I have no idea why because it’s so good and now it’s so expensive, I have it on PS2 though. Galactic racing is actually a total pain If you’re not good at racing games, I gave up on that one. The Ben 10 reboot game on PS4 is completely manageable apart from the boss trophies so I’m stuck. I haven’t touched power trip yet because the game just doesn’t feel good to play and I saw that a lot of the trophies were bugged and I have no idea if they still are, you should definitely try Ben 10 reboot and Ben 10 power trip because I would be interested in seeing if they were possible. I would also recommend generator Rex agent of Providence and both Pacman and the ghostly adventure games generator Rex is basically a Ben 10 game
The two Pacman ghostly adventure games are really fun.
Ben 10 has been my favourite show since 2006, and I’m almost 29 😂😂 but the games were actually pretty solid. The reboot games aren’t the best though but are still good. Anyway, take care :)
Sorry for the info dump dude. Would love to see you tackle them all one day. A good way of saving money is to buy disc only copies, but I tend to avoid that unless the game is super old.

Its very unique in terms of crash games but in my opinion the formula didnt need that kinda change up. Also mind iver mutant and this game are basically identical. Not a bad game, but not a great crash game
