  • I finally got around to editing this vlog of Kansas City, Missouri! If you’re visiting the city for a short time, I’ve got the perfect itinerary for you. Even though we were only there for about 48 hours, we really made the most of our time and saw as much as possible. There are so many cool museums, great restaurants and bars, and even an aquarium! I really enjoy taking you along on my trips, and hope you’ll like this one too. Make sure to read below for all of my recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Have a beautiful trip!
🏨Where we stayed- The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center- nice rooms, beautiful lobby, gym, pool, and tennis available, attached to a mall with lots to do and easy to walk to downtown or hop on public transportation
    😋Food
Jack Stack Barbecue- if you’re in KC you have to get barbecue, so this restaurant is a must try, it is highly rated, has great apps, and even though I don’t eat meat, I really enjoyed their salmon! If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, however, I would opt for a different option.
Messenger Coffee- a 3 level coffee house with a rooftop perfect for breakfast or to do work
Parlor- a bar and food hall with lots of options, including nachos, wings, pizza, tacos, fried chicken, indian fusion, mediterranean, and burgers
The Rockhill Grille- if you want to opt for something lighter/healthier, this restaurant has really fresh salads and bowls
Pierpont’s at Union Station- if you want a fancier dinner option, this restaurant is for you
Opera House Coffee & Food Emporium- if you’re looking for a quick bite and lots of options in the River Market area, check this place out, and definitely try their desserts
Urban Cafe at the KC airport- a great option if you’re looking for healthy yet filling bowls while traveling
    💃Things to Do
Crown Center- shopping and so much more! There’s an aquarium, Legoland, ice skating, and free Hallmark exhibit!
Street Art- murals are all over town!
The Museums at 18th & Vine- The American Jazz Museum and The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in one building
Power and Light District- great for nightlife and the T-Mobile center for concerts or even the circus which was there when we visited
The National WWI Museum and Memorial with Liberty Memorial Tower for city views
River Market- if you’re looking for a farmer’s market with lots of local vendors, check out City Market
    🚃Getting Around
There were free trolleys and buses when we were there, but uber was also very accessible
Overall, I really liked Kansas City, more than I thought I would, and there was a lot to do and explore. Would definitely recommend to do at least once if you’re traveling around the states.
💙 THANK YOU FOR WATCHING 💙
    ✨ Have a beautiful day ✨
    🌸 XO Becca 🌸
