Hey, I'm a 23 video editor. I am actually from Knoxville TN, but recently moved to Chicago. If you or anyone know is looking for a video editor I'd love to work with you. Keep up the content, & portillo's is a right if passage! Glad yall enjoyed!
If you ever go back to Portillo’s and Chicago get one of our Italian beef sandwiches, and of course, it should be with the hot giardinera!! Glad you enjoyed some of our parks. You also need to try some of our different types of pizza and our ribs, of course! Eli’s cheesecake and maybe an iconic cheeseburger at the Billy Goat (or Au Chèvre get there early!)
The best thing about Chicago? My daughter and the grandkids. 2nd? A Mayan Mocha from Dark Matter coffee. Oh and the Negroni slushie from Parsons Chicken.
You guys! Chicago dogs are so addicting - it’s the only hot dog I ever crave. My wife took me to Chicago in the winter….now that is freezing. AZ people + Chicago winter = never again lol. We missed the architectural boat tour since it was closed so thank you for showing what I missed. Looks like you love Chicago as much as my wife does.
SOOOO ADDICTING!!! Gosh it was absolutely delicious!! Oh gosh, I can’t imagine going in the winter! We were freezing & we went in May! Can’t imagine going when it’s colder! 😂🥶 The architectural boat tour was actually really informative & fun.. we totally recommend just not when it could be even remotely chilly out! Lol 😂 thanks so much for watching man! We appreciate y’all!
I agree! I’m from Chicago and when I travel to warmer places during the winter I often find myself missing the cold. The Chicago dogs are delicious as well as other popular Chicago dishes!
Looks like a day well spent in Chicago! 😃 We had visited back in 2018 during Labor Day weekend. The vibe of the city is so great. We'll definitely try Portillo's on our next visit. Thanks for all the great recommendations. ♥️
Aww… Thanks so much for watching guys!🥰🥰 Y’all are the best! Ooo… I bet Labor Day weekend was a great time to be there! There’s definitely something special about the Chicago vibe! Such a beautiful city! And Portillo’s is worth it! We want to try Super Dawg and Fatso’s Last Stand next time!😊😊

Hello I just found you guys while researching the best things to do on my Chicago trip. I am also a RUclipsr based out of Nashville. Thanks for the great Chicago tips!
I've really enjoyed your travel videos. My wife and I live in Ontario, Canada. We are traveling to Northern Central USA first 2 weeks in October. Our vacation is taking us to Cleveland, Chicago, St-Louis, Louisville and Cincinnati. We are definitely taking in some of your recommendations from this videos and other cities you've traveled to. I also like reading and taking notes from other viewer's comments of places to go and food to try. Can't wait.
Awesome video folks. I am starving now looking at all of the yummy food :). I have never been to downtown Chicago but I have been to the airport lol lol. Congratulations on your now over 5000 subscribers :).
Hi Matt and Natalie 👋 as always another great video hit out of the park! Oh my the food looks amazing. Portillos is the place I mentioned to you that we have here in Arizona. Stay safe God bless….On the road now to next stop 20k subscribers 🙏✈️🍕🌭
Hey Reuben!!! Thanks so much friend!! We always appreciate seeing your name pop up! 🥰🎉 It is the place you mentioned!!! So thanks for that! Lol 😂 aww thank you so much, we are just so humbled & excited to meet amazing people like you while doing this! 🥰 God Bless! 💗
Next time Don’t forget to try the other Chicago staples while at Portillos; Italian beef and Maxwell Street Polish. You’re welcome. Visit Navy Pier, Lincoln Park Zoo, and the many beaches (season appropriate). Chicago is the GEM 💎 of America.
I'm from Peru, currently studying hard to get into the best university here, as soon as I start getting well paid I'll travel to Chicago, thanks for the video it was really inspirational
Chicago Native here, who works downtown. From downtown original deep dish pizzas, the original pizzeria uno or their second location pizzeria duex. I tried a different deep dish pizza every Friday for almost 2 months and that was my winner. Best combination of crust/bread, sauce, cheese and ingredients. There’s a few spots I still need to try like Labriola. Roberts pizza and dough company is a great brick oven/artisan thin style along the riverfront. I’ll keep you posted though. Thanks for stopping by.
Yes!!! Please do!!! Thank you so much for the recommendations! We are looking forward to going back & exploring & eating more! Lol thanks for watching!
Yes! It was soo much fun! 🎉 There is a bar you have to go to, we didn’t have time but it has such great views of the bean & Millennium Park… Cindy’s Rooftop Bar! I wish I could share a photo but it looks super cute!! Love that you are going! Please let us know what you would recommend on our next trip there! Chicago is such a fun city!! Ahh hope you like the boat tour! We thought it was super fun & informative! Thanks for watching gorgeous! 🥰💗-Nat
Just found your channel today while enjoying some travel channels. We love Chicago. It is such a lovely city. We have never done the architectural tour on the river before but it looks like a perfect way to take in views of the city. The hot dog didn't look great to me either but if it is as good as you say, we will have to try it out whenever we head to Chicago next. Thanks for taking us back to Chicago with this video!
Aww… Thanks so much for watching!🥰 We’re glad you found us! Chicago is such a lovely city! We couldn’t agree more. The architectural cruise is definitely worth it and yes… the hotdog was a pleasant surprise! Hope you get to visit again soon!😊
Hey couples, I'm Jade new subscriber all the way from the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago and it's nice to meet you; so you're travelling across America to discover during covid season when you can't go around the world and if you're American telling all about the country, you can count me in because I just love USA! You guys look amazing especially you miss Nat who look gorgeous like you're in the 80's, lol. What am I saying! 😅 Ok, great video! I hope you staying safe out there and keep on traveling.
Hi Jade, I'm glad you are getting to see America thru their adventures since traveling these days is challenging . They are great fun to watch. I hope you get a chance to come to Chicago in the future, our city is great.
@@debschmitt761 Thanks, I hope I will visit America someday! Yes, I will watch all of their travelling videos and I will enjoyed them; hope it's very entertaining. Chicago is a great place where you can learn about the food, culture and much more. The food that's famous in Chicago is called Deep Dish Pizza and I would love to try it for sure if I am a fan of pizza. Nice chatting with you, mate!
Next time....at Portillos, get the Italian Beef. Lou Malnaties, I get spinach, onion with extra sauce. I’m actually traveling there in May (from Maine) just for the things mentioned above!
Ooo… We have heard great things about the Italian beef! Natalie’s family LOVES it! We’ll have to try it along with the spinach, onion, and extra sauce at Lou Malnati’s! Thanks for the recommendations! Safe travels!😊
OMG. Matt and Nat, so glad you came back to do a full day here. I moved here 30 years ago and you represented Chicago well....took the L , architechture river tour, Starbucks Roastery, the lake front....my first Chicago hot dog was from a Portillos too. Too bad about the pizza, I like the sausage at Lou Malnati's but agree that selecting your own toppings would have been better flavor profile. I hope you can come back in the future to enjoy the museums the Aquarium, Planetarium, snd check out Frank Lloyd Wright studio in Oak Park. Your drone shots were breath taking.
Yesss… us too!!! Lol… Aww… Thank you so much!! That means a lot coming from a local! We definitely plan to come back! There’s just so much to do and see in Chicago! Thank you so much for watching!🥰🥰
I look for it every time but I never see the notification Bell? You guys are awesome I'm having so much fun watching your videos I wish I had the money to travel like you are it would be such an amazing lifestyle thank you so much for sharing!
Hey Linda! Thanks so much for watching! The notification Bell should show up right beside the “Subscribe” button once you’re subscribed! I hope this helps! And we hope that you get to travel more! It’s an amazing thing!😊
O , I can't be following you guys, I already have too many youtubers I have been loyal to for years to watch every week. But I loved your video and your style so much I had to subscribe. ha Headed to Chicago soon, and funny I had just looked up Lou's Malnati's for deep dish pizza, so thank you so much for the heads up, will order with my fav. toppings. Great video. Super job.
My family took a three-day trip to Chicago this past August and had a great time. We were staying in that area just north of the Loop, so we did a lot of the same things. In fact, we were in the Starbucks roastery a few times, because it was right around the corner (and the coffee was awesome). My wife and I did a lot of walking along the lake shore, with incredible views of the skyline. The museums were great (Art Institute and Field Museum), and we had a lot of good food -- it pays to head down to Greektown and Chinatown if you have the time. It's a cool city.
That’s awesome! We would’ve loved to have a few days so we could’ve done more like you got to! The walks along the lake shore sounds so relaxing and peaceful! Ahh… the museums are definitely on our list! Oo… I bet the food in Greektown and Chinatown is great too!!🤤 Thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience!😊
One of favorite things to do during the Holidays is to go to the Christkindlmarkt in Daley Plaza. I love the old world Christmas vibes and great seasonal food and beverage selections including mulled wine and hot chocolate which you can get in a collectible mug. Note: last day is Dec 24, so NOT after Christmas!
We loved Chicago! It’s such a great city! Looking forward to our next trip there! Yes, please come! It really is a fun spot, at least experience it once! Thanks so much for watching & for your comment! 🥰
I go to Lou's often, but i basically always get the extra thin crust with sausage, its cracker thin. Most people think deep dish is typical Chicago pizza, but most people aren't eating deep dish, its usually for when people from outside are coming to visit and they want to try deep dish. Deep dish is good, but thin crust, square cut, tavern style, is classic Chicago pizza.
Lincoln Park, and the Lincoln Park Zoo are worth a visit, then walk over to Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder for their "pot pie" pizza and Mediterranean bread. Also, most locals don't eat deep dish regularly. Aurelios thin crust is really good. If you like a lot of toppings, try the Super Six, but beware: it's almost as filling as a deep dish! And don't be afraid to get away from the loop: the neighborhoods have amazing food of every ethnicity imaginable.
i live in the western burbs, but grew up here my whole life, and i say to get Portillo's beef sandwich, and pizza? go to Gino's East, so glad you had fun in Chicago, it's our kind of town lol.
Thank you guys for another awesome video!! The content was great and the pictures were incredible!! I’m always impressed by how many places and things you guys can do in one adventure. Especially when there’s always a risk of a food coma😴. And apparently when they call it the Windy City they ain’t kiddin😳. And as a self proclaimed hot dog junkie that Chicago dog looked like heaven on a bun!! I’m glad Nat decided to try it because that would’ve been tragic had she not and never known the magic of an iconic dog. Hope you guys are doing well and enjoying our beautiful country. Stay safe and God bless you both 😊
You truly make our day Joel! 🥰🎉 We do like to fit in as much as possible… sometimes to our detriment. 😂🙈 haha food coma is ALWAYS a hazard! Haha you are 1000000% right…. If I wouldn’t have tried it, I would have never known how iconic & delicious that dog was. & now I’m believer! 😂😜 🌭 Thanks so much friend!! God bless y’all!! 💗💗💗
I know this video is old but regarding the chicago deep dish pizza I recommend asking the waiter to get you some garlic sauce. Spread some garlic sauce on the pizza. It tastes really good! My fiance and his family always gotta have the garlic sauce.
Hi you two! Hope your having a blast filming away the remainder of the states you have to visit! ( no pressure 🤪) Anne and I loved watching this one! ( we always do) You always bring happiness and humor to your destinations! Way to go! Keep’em coming! P.S. ( the hot dog bit was real funny, those things are huge! 😂) See you in the next one. Eric & Anne Curieux Nomades
Hey guys!!! Hahaha we are!! The editing is taking wayyy too long! 😂 aww thanks so much guys! We appreciate y’all more than you know! Your kindness makes our day! Hahaha we’re glad you thought it was funny too! 😂🌭 Looking forward to watching y’all’s videos right! I think we have a couple to catch up on! 🙈😂 God Bless y’all! 💗
Rude people and crime and murder. It’s ok I guess to visit for a day but would never live here. Warnings to get back to hotel room before dark. Why is everyone so rude!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching! That’s what we did. We used Spot Hero to find the best parking rate near our hotel and left our car in the garage until we were leaving the city. Driving and finding parking around the city is not a fun experience! Lol
Just subscribed to your channel. Chicago native here and I love the way the videos are put together. Capturing the views of the city with “I think are drone shots” and always trying the foods. If you’re both ever in Chicago again 2 of the best places to get Deep Dish pizza’s are Giordano’s and Beggars. Also the best time to come here is during the summer obviously because the winter makes humans not want to leave the house lol
Aww thanks so much! 🎉🥰 We are excited to have you on the adventure with us! We are looking forward to coming back & exploring more! Thanks for the recommendations! hahaha now that is true... being a Floridian.. I think I would die lol 🤣
Rude people and crime and murder. It’s ok I guess to visit for a day but would never live here. Warnings to get back to hotel room before dark. Why is everyone so rude!
Chicago Blues is a great spot and there are a few locations. Some incredible talent and never know what you're walking into but have to go early to get a seat as there is very limited seating. Also, Lincoln Park Zoo is Free. I used to live nearby. And it's in a neat location and very walkable.
Rude people and crime and murder. It’s ok I guess to visit for a day but would never live here. Warnings to get back to hotel room before dark. Why is everyone so rude!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Of course! We actually check RUclips whenever we travel somewhere to see if you guys have gone first! You're quite the inspiration to our travels. Send me a message If you ever come back to Iowa. We are right near Iowa City. Would love to show you the sites!
Right?! We were shocked! 😂🙈 lol We really thought it was our sunglasses lol It was surprisingly good! Let us know your thoughts when you go! Thanks so much for watching y’all! We appreciate y’all! 🥰💗
Dick portillo started a hot dog stand in 1963. He sold it in 2014 for 1 billion dollars. Right away the quality was a little bit less. It's still good but not as good as it was
I am originally from the Pacific Northwest I haven't seen a Oregon video from you guys yet but if you ever go to Oregon make sure to go see Multnomah Falls it's a 620ft waterfall and it's gorgeous it's about 30 minutes from Portland...I'd also recommend going to Voodoo donuts in Portland also!
Ahhh… We LOVE the PNW! And Multnomah Falls is so beautiful! We went back in the fall of 2019 (before we had this channel) and loved it! And yes… Voodoo Donuts are SO GOOD! That Maple Bacon Bar is delicious! We would love to go back and film a vlog! Thanks so much for watching!!🥰
As a lifelong citizen of chicago i'm glad you guys had a great time here and enjoyed the food. And most important i'm glad you made it out of here in one piece. You need to be careful on those trains and the mag mile.
Aww… Thanks so much for watching! 🥰🥰 We really enjoyed our time! Yea, thankfully through all of our travels, we’ve learned to be smart and watch our backs… especially in busy cities! We’re glad we made it out in one peace as well! Lol😊😊
My new hobby is English learning. Maybe it's funny for you, but I'm using your videos as English lessons. Besides that, I've always liked the USA, so you teach me about American culture. Thanks!
Great! I suggest next time you try an Italian beef with sweet peppers dipped, and a chocolate cake slice. Also, check out the Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum, The Art Institute and the Aquarium and planetarium.
So I'm traveling to MN from NY next week to visit my wonderful newly found biological siter and I was thinking of staying in Chicago for thursday night. I drove this trip a couple times last year and I dreaded driving under Chicago and always ended up splitting my trip by staying in Rockford, IL mainly because I was intimidated by the thought of staying in Chicago. I was wondering if there's an easy and not too mind blowingly expensive way to drive my car into Chicago and just stay the night and jet to MN the next day...maybe enjoy some night food...I'd be in Chicago around 6pm on thursday. Where would you stay for one night just driving thru? I'm going to keep doing my research, but I'm running out of time as I leave July 27th! Love you guys!
If you guys do ever go back I recommend trying Pequod’s Pizza. That’s my personal favorite Chicago style pizza. I also tried Lou Malnati’s and thought Pequod’s was better.
It's funny that you said it's weird seeing Seagull's in the city because Chicago is like Amsterdam🌷🇳🇱 in sme similarity both flat, both have residents that ride a lot ov bikes, and both have Seagull's because thee body ov water. Also in my city there are a lot ov buildings like in Amsterdam with that one door to the far left or right or even middle ov a cottage apartment that leads up a flight ov stairs to another apartment or old office space turned apartment.
By any chance u guys hitting Grand Canyon, don’t miss out the pretty Flag Staff town walk-around and Satchmo’s BBQ pit. A lot of people skip it as they think it is just a boring motel stop-by but that’s all wrong.
Hey Arthur! Thanks for watching & for your comment! We did film at the Grand Canyon in our Arizona video, & we did stay in Flagstaff which was amazing… but we didn’t film anything in Flagstaff just Page, AZ! It is absolutely on our bucket list to go back! It really was so pretty! Thank you for mentioning it! Now we know we need to go back & film! 👌🏻😜💗 Thank you so much for watching! Have a great night!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat if you do get back to Flagstaff in winter ❄️ we have a ski resort Snow Bowl. If you come outside of winter you can still take the ski lift up to get a really beautiful view! I white-knuckled it all the way down as I have an issue with heights.
In many larger cities, we rely on public transportation and/or Uber to get around. For Chicago, we paid for parking at our hotel and just left out there the entire time till we were leaving. I will say, the parking garage under Millennium Park is an excellent place to park and explore in Chicago. We did that on our very first Chicago vlog… ruclips.net/video/zB010bLoHu0/видео.html Thanks so much for watching!!😊
Omgosh thank you thank you!! I’m going next month with my 12 year old, for my bday! She loves crepes and Nutella. That’s two of her favorite foods. Was it cold when you guys went?
Aww… Thanks so much for watching! The weather was cool but pleasant while we were there. It was a little cold in the morning and night, but the days were nice and brisk. We hope y’all have an amazing time!! Safe travels!😊😊
Thanks guys! Quick feedback: the musical interludes were much louder than your voices. I had to keep turning the volume up and down. Great video anyway!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat if you guys more of a crispy pan pizza. pequods is fantastic. it’s not a chain so there will be a wait and line during busy days and times. don’t do take out if you go! it will make the crust soggy

Covid kind of ruined your trip. Chicago was mostly closed and not many people around. Usually its bustling and not that dead. I hope you still enjoyed your trip and comeback when this blows over
Yea we are really looking forward to coming back when it’s bustling!! We love the vibe of the city! Thanks so much for watching! Any recommendations for our next Chicago trip?
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Deep dish pizza from Milly's Pizza in the Pan. Best deep dish in the city. Formerly operated out of a ghost kitchen in Humboldt Park, they just got a brick-and-mortar shop in Edgewater. Also, the breaded catfish at Harold's in Rogers Park; dim sum at Ming Hin (the Lakeshore East location is my favourite); sopes from Edgewater Tacos; mushroom melt with pastrami from Humboldt Haus; patty melt with mushrooms and a side of pizza puffs at Dengeos (which is just across the border of the city proper in Skokie)

Ok, great video!
We hope you get to visit someday as well! You’ll love Chicago! The sites, the food… it’s all so good!😊
How did I miss this one...Chicago dog is my favorite of the regional dogs... I'm always so hungry after your videos 🤣🤣🤣
Hey guys another brilliant video as usual 👌 👏 we just love u 2!! Wow the hotdogs 🌭 look fantastic!! Keep up the amazing work 🇺🇲🇬🇧🍺
Aww... Thank you so much!!! 😊😊 The hot dog was SO good! Better than expected for sure! Lol... Hope you're doing well!!
My favorite RUclips couple!! Love watching your videos!! Makes me happy!! Congrats on 5,000 plus!!!! Bravo 👏👏
Aww thank you soo much!!! 🥰 We appreciate you so much more than you know! 💗💗💗
If you get back to Chicago, you should go to the John Hancock Tower observatory. Great views of the city. Especially at night.
you both are fun😊 next time you guys come to chi-town visit the burbs, fun things to see and do there as well.😊
I look for it every time but I never see the notification Bell? You guys are awesome I'm having so much fun watching your videos I wish I had the money to travel like you are it would be such an amazing lifestyle thank you so much for sharing!
Hey Linda! Thanks so much for watching! The notification Bell should show up right beside the “Subscribe” button once you’re subscribed! I hope this helps! And we hope that you get to travel more! It’s an amazing thing!😊
I'm glad people are making your dreams come true. I wish people would make my dreams come true.
Super job.
Beautiful footage and music backdrop.
Aww… Thank you so much!!🥰🥰
My family took a three-day trip to Chicago this past August and had a great time.
John where did you recommend to stay in Chicago....
I'm glad you guys got to visit Chicago. I've always wanted to visit Nashville. I heard it's a fun town.
We loved Chicago! It’s such a great city! Looking forward to our next trip there! Yes, please come! It really is a fun spot, at least experience it once! Thanks so much for watching & for your comment! 🥰
You guys speak so well. I wish I was a good speaker.
ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS
Thank you!😊
I have loved Chicago style hot dogs since i was a young boy, when my grandfather would take me to a local spot here in Milwaukee for them!
Oh man, we have been MISSING OUT!!! It was soooo good! We can’t wait to have another one! 🤤😂
I’ve seen the kayaks and cruise ships going under a tunnel in Chicago. The water looked green there, like in Ireland.
CHICAGO BEST CITYYYYY
It’s awesome!!! 🎉👌🏼
Cool video I recommend next time venturing out to the actual neighborhoods you guys will surely get a real feel and vibe for the city.
Thanks so much, and thanks for watching!
Will be here in 2 weeks..... Hope to get a lot into our day here
Hope you had a great trip!!
Im 100 percent like Matt, a purist that must try things in original form!
Yesss! Glad I’m not alone! Lol
@@AdventuresofMattandNat you’re both very welcome!! 😊
Bern to Chicago a few years ago. The best food we had was the deep dish pizza. It was amazing!
I recommend checking out Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder next time. That is always our must do when we visit.
Thanks so much for the recommendations! 👌🏼
I know this video is old but regarding the chicago deep dish pizza I recommend asking the waiter to get you some garlic sauce. Spread some garlic sauce on the pizza. It tastes really good! My fiance and his family always gotta have the garlic sauce.
Ohhhh GREAT idea! Thank you so much. Great suggestion! I bet that makes it so much better! 👌
Hi you two!
Hope your having a blast filming away the remainder of the states you have to visit! ( no pressure 🤪) Anne and I loved watching this one! Rude people and crime and murder. It’s ok I guess to visit for a day but would never live here. Warnings to get back to hotel room before dark. Why is everyone so rude!
Where do you park your car for a one day visit to Chicago? Is that the recommendation to park and buy the one day transit pass?
Hey! Thanks so much for watching! That’s what we did. We used Spot Hero to find the best parking rate near our hotel and left our car in the garage until we were leaving the city. Driving and finding parking around the city is not a fun experience! Lol
Thank you for the update. Note: I found your guys video to be very informative. You guys are awesome… Much Mahalo!
@@ajjjng You’re welcome! Glad you found the video helpful! 😊 We appreciate you watching!
If you're in Chicago on Wednesday or Saturday june - august go to navy pier. There's free fireworks there in the evening.
Cubs game for sure!!

Pequods too (although it's a bit of a trek)
Chicago Blues is a great spot and there are a few locations. Some incredible talent and never know what you're walking into but have to go early to get a seat as there is very limited seating. Also, Lincoln Park Zoo is Free. I used to live nearby. And it's in a neat location and very walkable.
Thanks so much for the recommendations! We'll have to add them to our list for our next visit!😊😊

If you ever come back to Michigan,go to grand rapids downtown,or mackinaw island
Hey, next time you guys go to Chicago, you have to get the deep dish sausage with giardiniera at Lou's! It's amazing
Ooo… We’ll have to try that! Thanks for the recommendation! And thanks for watching!😊
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Of course! We actually check RUclips whenever we travel somewhere to see if you guys have gone first! You're quite the inspiration to our travels. Send me a message If you ever come back to Iowa. We are right near Iowa City. Would love to show you the sites!
Love to see videos of people visiting my beautiful city, Chicago! Looks like you both had a great time! Come on back and visit when it's warmer 😄
Thanks so much for watching! We definitely enjoyed our time! And hope to be back when it's warmer! lol
Portillos is the answer if your from the suburbs. You can go to portillos in phoenix and florida. You have to go to a dive next time.
For future trips, I would say Provincetown on Cape Cod, MA . The Lobster Pot is my favorite restaurant. You will love it if you enjoy seafood.
Ohh great suggestions! Thanks so much!
Wow I had no idea that the water was the blue either 😂 I ALWAYS see Portillo’s but have never actually been there! Need to try it out 😊
It's still good but not as good as it was
❤ missing there
I am originally from the Pacific Northwest I haven't seen a Oregon video from you guys yet but if you ever go to Oregon make sure to go see Multnomah Falls it's a 620ft waterfall and it's gorgeous it's about 30 minutes from Portland...I'd also recommend going to Voodoo donuts in Portland also!
Thanks for sharing! What's new for this year?
Next time you guys are in Chicago you need to order the Italian Beef from Portillos!
Lol😊😊
I ride it everyday never had an issue
The burgers at Portillos are also really. Whenever i need fast food. That's where i go. Nothing from any other fast food chains comes close
Ohhh good to know for next time!! It really surprised us how good it was!! 👌🏻
My new hobby is English learning. Maybe it's funny for you, but I'm using your videos as English lessons. Besides that, I've always liked the USA, so you teach me about American culture. Thanks!
We love this so much!!🥰🥰 Not funny at all… very smart actually! Thank you for sharing! And thank you so much for watching!🥰🥰
CTA is call the "L Train" because the train is elevated above ground. Which in turn is called The L
Aww that does make sense!
Cool video!
Thanks so much!!! 🥰
Great! I suggest next time you try an Italian beef with sweet peppers dipped, and a chocolate cake slice. Also, check out the Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum, The Art Institute and the Aquarium and planetarium.
Next time you come to Chicago, you need to g et some Garrett’s popcorn. Popcorn sounds boring. But this isn’t! It is melt in your mouth GOOD!
Ohh thank you so much for the recommendations! We’ll have to check them out next time!! We appreciate you watching & leaving your recommendations!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat no thank you guys for the awesome content! I enjoyed the Memphis and Nashville videos. I’m heading that way next week.
@@AdventuresofMattandNat if you do get back to Flagstaff in winter ❄️ we have a ski resort Snow Bowl. If you come outside of winter you can still take the ski lift up to get a really beautiful view! I white-knuckled it all the way down as I have an issue with heights.
Ahh… I bet that is beautiful!! We’ll have to add it to our list! Hahaha… That’s great!😂😂
Oh great idea!!!! That would be so much fun!
my fam. 9 of them visit chicago for 5 days and we travel all down town, the loop, and all the museums FROM PUERTO RICO!!!!!!!!!!!

We used the trolley, which was very Informative!
For kansas do the Nelson Adkins and the Kauffman botanical and the street car with city market, they are all free
We’ll have to check that out next time we’re in Kansas! Thanks for watching!😊
😂😂 9:44 should have 100% been the thumbnail.
🤣🤣🤣
You guys should try Mario’s Italian ice!
Maybe in the larger cities you can add recommendations for parking too.
In many larger cities, we rely on public transportation and/or Uber to get around. For Chicago, we paid for parking at our hotel and just left out there the entire time till we were leaving. I will say, the parking garage under Millennium Park is an excellent place to park and explore in Chicago. We did that on our very first Chicago vlog… ruclips.net/video/zB010bLoHu0/видео.html
Thanks so much for watching!!😊

You answered my question! was cold all day?
Aww… Thanks so much for watching! The weather was cool but pleasant while we were there. It was a little cold in the morning and night, but the days were nice and brisk. We hope y’all have an amazing time!! Safe travels!😊😊
