These are a pain in the rump to get set up but once you do the initial pairing for your group, it's easy. Just turn them all on and one person hits the X button. But it's totally worth the effort because there's nothing worse than one person in your party who takes a wrong turn on a trail and can't figure out where everyone else is because they don't have something like this. Stopping to use your cell to call people in your group is a pain and a lot of times you don't even have a cell signal so it's useless. Bluetooth is old tech but it works.
Get videos! I think I have watched all of them now, thank you. I have managed to pair my 2 lexin-B4FMs together, but can't work out how to get the music from my phone through both units. So what I am asking is can I pair the 2 units and my phone simultaneously, so we can both listen to the same music as well as talking to each other over the music? Thank you in anticipation of your help!
Great video! I have two B4FMs that are about 3 years old, and two that are about 1 year old. The pairing button is different is different between the older ones and newer ones. When I try pairing 3 or 4 of them together, I seem to have troubles. Maybe it’s all my fault, or could the older ones need to have a different sequence? Great video! I really enjoy my Lexin head sets!
We have a similar problem. Noise is fine with 2 or 3 way comms but when we use large group mode and pair 4 way, the noise is terrible. Looks like we are going to switch to Sena units. Lexin need to address this issue or they will lose customers who will never come back.
You’re method differs from the manual for 4 way pairing by entering large group pairing mode. I’m hoping that this solves my problems with 4 way pairing when the intercom tends to randomly connect as 2 pairs instead of a group of 4. I’ve always previously used the method in the manual so thanks for making this video.
Seems so easy, but man while out riding snowmobiles, it NEVER goes that smooth. Seems like something always gets messed up or someone gets dropped off. Do you guys have a communicator that has channels like a walkie talkie and can just set to a number and go?
Good video! THANKS. Is it normal that I can't make the pairing between a recent B4FM model and an older one? I have the old one, the one came out just before, and my boyfriend has the new one with an X. All I have to do is try to clear the memory with the volume up and down.
my friends and i have two GTX and two B4FM and we cannot get them to pair so we can all talk. please help!!! must we put ALL devices in group pairing mode? then connect one gtx to one b4FM via the primary pairing mode of the b4fm? then connect the other gtx and b4fm together via the primary pairing mode of the b4fm ? then connect both the B4FM together via their secondary pairing mode? please any advice would be great...
I have two sets, one for me and one for my sister…………so if I’m listening to music, can she listen to the same tunes at the same time?? I can’t figure it out
@@LEXINMOTO hi, I must be doing something wrong, I’m following the instructions exact!!! Plus I watched a tutorial, online how to do it, I can get the music in my helmet, but when I press the button to connect the two helmets, it switches to my sisters helmet, so I press the button again to try to share the music, and it switches back to my helmet. I tried my amazing music, and then I thought, hmmmmm….I’m going to try RUclips, as that’s should be easier to see if it working….nope…I can’t get them to share…….PS I kept both helmets here at my house to do this, over and over …etc……..so i connected them to my Bluetooth and they show connected…………..do I need her phone here? So she can connect to her own Bluetooth?
Mic placement is very important, you might have to play around with it to get it set up to you specific helmet, important things to remember if you're using a button mic is to make sure its positioned adjacent to your mouth, if you're using a boom style mic they are directional and will be labeled as such on the boom, you may need to slide the foam cover off to check, if neither of these rectify the problems you're having reach out to us at info@lexinmotorcycle.com
Try as I might, I can't get even 2 of these to pair with each other. They'll both pair with my phone with no issues, but never to each other. Any ideas?
Had the same issue, seems like they can get confused with sharing the radio. Power both on, hit the power button twice to turn on radio sharing and then twice more to turn off radio sharing. Do that on both units. Then clear the pairing memory. Then try pairing again. Mine paired right away after a couple hours where the one unit would just go into 'searching' mode and never pair up.
@@LarryWilson-MobyOnACracker Actually I figured it out. For some reason one of the devices was trying to pair with my nearby Nvidia Shield. So weird, but as soon I unplugged the thing, I was easily able to get them to pair. So glad they aren't defective!
ok, so. say if you had 5 of them connected. and one person speaks will the other 4 be able to hear them and have the ability to respond without having to press any buttons.
The white noise paired with 5 people is unbearable. Is there an issue with older models compatibility? In my crew 2 bought this thing a week ago and th rest have it for 2 years.. no bueno experience

This business of having different procedures for different number of riders is unacceptable. Maybe it's doable in an environment where everyone's maybe sitting in a garage, ALL riders present, and have the manual there at a desk and can use that for reference. But the far more likely and REAL WORLD scenario where people meet up at random locations, adding to the group as they go, never knowing in advance what the actual number will be in the final group, and not having a place to sit down and refer to a manual, this is bonkers insanely complicated. No one could possibly remember all this. I was literally about to pull the trigger on a pair of Lexin B4FM's. But seeing this... Lexin needs to do better. I'll never buy a system that's this awkward to setup in real use situations. Not happenin. UClear sounds like they've actually put the work in to simplify connecting. And that Dynamesh...
