Michael Bolton is a classically trained, operatic vocalist. What's impressive here is Mariah's only like 19 and she's able to keep up w/ him, even tho her voice is no where near as developed/trained as his. Mariah naturally developed a full-bodied voice, at such a young age, impressive. I wish she still had this voice type, its the best voice type any singer can develop. Most don't develop such a rich, poised, resonant and agile voice like this until they're like 40. Mr. Bolton is literally in his prime here, he's a fully developed man, I think 37 here.

@@rogl3W meaning he’s a grown man. Mariah still was very young here and singing w her youth voice. She wasn’t a fully developed grown woman voice yet
