Iron Maiden's two best albums: 1. Killers 2. Iron Maiden. Those two albums get the most play from me. No disrespect to Bruce, but those two albums with Di'anno have the most staying power with me.

You are completelly right, PAUL DiANNO is my favorite IRON MAIDEN vocalist (they had few before him, never listened to them), BRUCE is good,nothing against him, but the music became boring with time. First two albums are dynamite!
Ralph. You know how killers changed this 12 yr Olds life !! Still my fav maiden album, and my fav metal album to this day, fav album cover, and the best lineup in my feeble amity opinion, great job on this clip thank-you!!! First 2 and the Japanese ep the best!!! Paul's fav band ramones!!!

I love Maiden with both singers.
Each of the two singer line-ups has given me many memorable hours of great music. There were also good moments with Blaze, but unfortunately not quite as many ...
The Paul Di'Anno albums made me a Maiden fan for life. Then Bruce came along, and I still preferred the Di'Anno albums. And I love the Dickinson stuff. But there's just something special about those first two albums.

Dianno era Iron Maiden is my favorite band. They were the perfect fusion of Punk energy and Metal. Holocaust and Tank had a similar vibe.
I have often wondered what The Number of the Beast would’ve sounded like with Paul on vocals. It’s a shame Maiden didn’t make a couple more studio albums with Dianno. They should’ve rehired him when Dickinson left. That would’ve been amazing.

I came into Iron Maiden later, so Dickson always had my ears, as it was the Iron Maiden I knew. That being said, I’ve really enjoyed the first two albums.
Powerslave is my favourite album with Bruce. Killers has really grown on me, and I love most of the albums up until after Fear of the Dark, which I had before anyone in my town did, as I got it a couple days before in Scotland, so I was popular with my buddies showing off an album nobody had yet. So many great memories with this band.

I am an adamant Iron Maiden fan. Like you, my first show was Piece of Mind tour. I was in the Navy on the west coast in 82. I was sent to the east coast late 82, so I missed Iron Maiden and Judas Priest because they were on the west coast after I left. My favorite Iron Maiden album is Maiden Japan. I saw them twice on Powerslave, and Bruce sounded better live when I saw them, than he did on Live After Death. Even though I have seen Maiden 20 times with Bruce, I still love Maiden Japan.

Through Somewhere In Time, I loved Iron Maiden even more than Priest, I'm not sure about that now, but I definitely loved the first 2 Maiden albums, especially Killers, almost as much as those first 3-4 Bruce albums 🤘🏻
I, without a doubt, agree the first two albums are still the best. I like some of those old demos from their club days with that Wilcock guy also. Yeah Bruce is good, but its a different band, different drummer too.

I actually preferred Maiden with DiAnno on vocals they were a lot rawer and had more grit and gusto, i like Bruce's voice too and yeah he has more range but Di'Anno's voice , energy and attitude were a massive part of what set them apart from the rest

I disagree when people say Maiden only took off when Bruce came on board. Well, they were just on the second album and had already toured in the States and Japan with Paul...
But unfortunately I have to occur that the band wouldn't have last that long if Paul had stayed.
I think he would have sounds good in Invaders, 22 Acacia Avenue, Gangland and the Prisoner, but no way Diano could excel Bruce in Hallowed be thy Name, as none singer can! 😃

For me , dianno was and still is the voice of the maiden I loved. No operatic drama queens.... just good ol fashioned boot in your face metal with a sprinkle of punk attitude

truth to be told think it was 83 first time hearing maiden and then one night mtv would play these fri or sat night concerts and bam was like hey who the hell is that guy from then i always dug on the raw energy of the band from that time period

I agree, after Piece Of Mind it gets spotty for me as well. That's not to say there isn't some gems, absolutely there is. What I don't like is when Bruce is reaching, straining to hit those notes, almost hurts the ears. Still an awesome band, especially live, one of the best live in my opinion.
Di Anno talks about being a punk singer, but did you hear his first post Maiden album? Loverboy😅 I LOVE Paul's voice, but he needed some direction post Maiden.

After SOMEWHERE IN TIME I kinda lost interest... then when Bruce came back with BRAVE NEW WORLD I think that album is phenomenal!
Paul Dianno Was a Great Singer and Both Iron Maiden & Killers Are Class Albums 100%, But Bruce Dickinson Took Iron Maiden To The Next Level and They Would Not Have Reached The Pinnacle Of Metal They Now Stand On, Dianno As a Vocalist Is Not On Bruce Dickinson's Level.

I loved the ORIGINAL Maiden. Saw them when I won tickets. They were awesome. Then I saw them with Bruce open for Priest and it was OK. I appreciate that theyve stayed together after all these years. A testament to their love for their craft.
My favorite line up : Adrian/Dave/Steve/Paul/Clive...! So obviously Killers is my favorite album...! Too bad he didn't participate on NOTB...and no matter what any people may think Paul woulda sounded great and woulda handled it ! Any fans that don't think he didn't have the "Chops" or couldn't sing those songs are delusional...it was the drugs that brought on the unprofessional behavior that ended his time with Maiden ...! Cheers Ralph... Maiden ruled with Dianno !...and even though Dickinson is a twat he's a great singer too...love most of his stuff with Maiden !

I really do not like the Paul Dianno stuff and I much prefer the Bruce Dickinson era of Iron Maiden but it wasn't perfect. Iron Maiden dose not have prefect albums the highest I'll give one is a 7 nothing else you can burn the songs I like into a CD. Iron maiden just has a lot of boring long songs I really do not like (Who likes Empire the clouds? Nobody!) I like the hits that everybody knows and 5 deep tracks I like it's just my opinion
I can’t listen to the first 2 Iron Maiden albums anymore. I don’t like Di’anno’s voice since Bruce! And no! Harris is not about money, otherwise, Maiden would have a bombastic and polish sound. This is the truth, and I don’t listen to Maiden for a long time. I’m much more a Death or black metal fan. Paul Dianno is full of shít!
Bruce Dickinson has a bad voice for metal I think they’re original singer was much better.
