    Red Sox fan here. This dude is amazing. Great leader, great contact hitter, and possibly the greatest defensive catcher to ever play the game. Much respect for Yadi

    I am a Red sox fan but Yadi is one of my favorites. Papa Molina should just have 12 sons and monopolize the catcher market.

    best catcher of all time... his track record speaks for itself. 2 rings, 3 penants, has made the playoffs in almost every year in the majors.. not to mention all the personal achievements of multiple gold gloves and a silver slugger award..

    • @NandoTater
      @NandoTater 10 лет назад +2

      Four pennants in ten seasons, but who's counting...

      Richard Angevine Johnny Bench: 2 rings, 4 pennants, 10 Gold Gloves, 2 MVPs, '76 World Series MVP, 2 Home Run titles, 3 RBI titles, Most RBI in the decade of the '70s... But, Yadi is one of the greatest catchers in MLB history. Possibly the third best, behind Bench and Rodriguez.

    • @NHLGreatestMoments
      @NHLGreatestMoments 8 лет назад +1

      +Richard Angevine No. Still behind Bench and I-Rod, by far.

    • @caleb4958
      @caleb4958 7 лет назад +1

      for sure behind Bench, personally i think he passed up I-Rod, they both hit better but yadi is better defensively

    Yadi is so good at his position it reminds me of Ozzie. To me, he is simply just better than any other catcher and is in his prime now. Ozzie had that Wow! factor and so does Yadi. Go Cards!

    ontop of that fact molina has been in the bigs 4 years longer then posey. when posey came up mid season of 2010 half the season he won rookie of the year for a little more than half a season played, and took the giants to the world series. trust me posey when its said and done and you compared awards and who has the most hardware posey will dominate molina. what posey did in 2 seasons of play is more than all of molina career

    well see at the end of the year, like how posey went on a monster tear after the allstar break to edge molina out for mvp, posey last year. this last month is batting 360. compared to molina 290. same thing happen last year when he beat molina out.

    Look, When its all said and done Yadi absolutely dominates buster in terms of defence and I dont think its as close as people make it seem like. When have you seen Posey pick off a runner like molina does on a regular basis? Posey is a great defensive catcher dont get me wrong but Molina has him by a landslide. P.S. Have you seen the cardinal pitching crumble while he's been out? it's incredible.

    i did you a favor bro and voted you down. you really don't want people to know you wrote that, it's embarrassing. yadi won the platinum glove both years it's been around. also, i do want to add, while yadi definitely deserves the accolades, you have to give a little credit to their pitchers for the quick deliveries to allow him the opportunity to throw out would-be base stealers. he's more than just an arm and bat, he handles the pitching staff beautifully and frames pitches like a genius
