Most likely the Bathroom is made as part of a former backstairs area, as a solution to no bathroom at all, and "toilets" in the yard downstairs. Many elderly buildings in Cph had arrangements like this!

My family a few generations back were Danish. Never been there...yet. Someday I'll get to Copenhagen to see the history! Glad you had fun.
