Do y'all have some sort of corn casserole on your holiday table every year too?
Yes. I like the one with cream cheese and cheese in it. I usually prepare that.
Absolutely my mamas corn pudding ❤️😉🥰
I’m making the one with jiffy cornbread mix.
I do!! I made it up a few years ago & it seems that every time I make it, I do something just a little bit different! But it's still good! haha
Yeah, but it don't have no sugar in it.
Adding sugar to corn pudding is worse than glazed carrots for me.
Both are naturally sweet and have no need of extra.
A whole cup of sugar is insane.
My recipe just calls for a scant tsp of sugar to enhance the natural flavor.
It also has cream cheese, sour cream, white cheddar, gruyere, roasted red bell pepper, cornmeal, buttermilk, egg, salt, pepper, smoked paprika and a whole lot of corn.
Usually bake off a small dish for myself from the mix with some red pepper flakes and some diced jalapeno.
That sounds good. Send Wayne an air fryer.
That's basically the same recipe that my family has used for years (Baked Corn) and I have given out many times. It is sweet, so I only use1/2 cup of sugar. That way the corn shines instead of the sugar. Use evaporated milk if you can. Also bits of butter are only added to the top before the oven for better browning. We also bake it at 425 because the crust needs that temp to get really brown. The mixing of the wet/dry ingredients is very important or it won't set up well. Just like Wayne said, a must for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
We've been invited to my son's in-laws this year for Thanksgiving. This would probably be a great side to bring to their home. Thanks for sharing Wayne's recipe with us. Thank your Wayne for passing this recipe along to Paula! Be well & safe this holiday season. 🥰🦃 gobble gobble!
This is one of the cutest examples of a husband and wife in love!!!
My grandma's recipe is a "pantry recipe." It's a can of creamed corn, a sleeve of crushed saltine crackers, eggs (1or2?), milk, black pepper. It was a tradition to have it on the holiday table. It's a frugal recipe made with shelf stable ingredients, you can use powdered milk if needed. My grandparents were farmers in north western North Dakota. They had to drive about an hour to get to a grocery store... needless to say it was important to have a well stocked pantry, especially in the winter!
Maybe you could send Wayne one of those Paula Deen air fryers for his submission?
Hi Kimberly how are you doing
🤣🤣🤣Michael showed up with his own fork!!! That looks like something I'm going to make today. 😋. God bless you Mrs. Paula❤️
Hello Billie!
How are you doing?
Hi Paula, I’m from North East Pa. My granddaughter has me make this dish for Thanksgiving. I make enough to fill a restaurant size baking pan. My daughter is having 14 for the holiday this year. Looking forward to that day! Hope you and yours have a wonderful happy and healthy holiday season! God Bless!
This Pennsylvania Baked Corn recipe looks so delicious Paula.
Paula, how much butter, how much milk
@@carolzuanaich3816 1 cup milk or evaporated milk and probably a couple tablespoons in butter.
A little sweet corn with savory other Thanksgiving dishes!! Yum!!
Hey there Paula!!!! Please do the recipe for your BBQ Ribs recipes at your family kitchen restaurants!!! They are the best ribs I’ve ever had!!!❤️
This sweet corn pudding looks pretty!
I sent in a yummy snickerdoodle recipe that’s dynamite!!! You HAVE to try it for the cookie segment in December. 😁 There’s not any out there like it- it’s light, chewy, and soo, soooo delicious!
You had me at

Hello 👋 Emily
Another recipe to try. Thanks, have a great day Paula and team
Hello Mary!
How are you doing?
Love what my Mom called
Scalloped Corn!!
Hi Mary how are you doing
Wow, I never thought to do corn that way, a definite try, saving this one, also from Upland Pennsylvania, thank you Wayne 👍🙏❤️😎thank you miss Paula
Hello Ruth!
How re you doing?

I really miss you on tv Ms Paula Deen! I used to watch your show EVERY Saturday morning! xoxo
I grew up with this same recipe but we called it corn pudding or corn custard. It has always been one of my favorites!!
Have a similar recipe given to me but far less sugar. Gosh we Americans consume way too much sugar!
Hello Sherry!
How are you doing?
As a Yankee, that looks really good !!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Wayne!
Sounds really good. Will try it. I agree sounds almost like a sweet edible. Maybe back off the sugar to 1/2 cup. Looked delicious. Thank you Paula & Wayne. God bless have a great day.
Hi Kim how are you doing
@@waynegilbert4858 I'm doing best I can with the cold weather we are having in Radford, Va. Right now. How about yourself? Have a nice Thanks Giving !!!. Grateful for all things. Give the Lord the Thanks & Glory. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I'm wondering if anyone has a NEW broccoli 🥦 holiday dish this year??
Sugar, flour, corn are three type food a diabetec should not eat.
Perhaps I'll switch to *stevia* & that'll help take a lot of carbs out.
I've always loved those types of dishes.
Thank you, Wayne. 🇺🇲
Sugar n carbs challenged
Your better off eating real food
The chemical's used in sugar free are more harmful than the real food you're trying to avoid
All diabetic substitute has a chemical that causes stomach gas, which applies pressure to your organs
Have a heart attack history
This is very bad for a week heart
Anyway do as you wish, best to you all
I'm eating it
My Aunt made one similar added cinnamon. Love me some corn pudding
I am going to a FriendsGiving on Saturday..
taking my Mother's Bread Dressing! May add Corn Pudding now!!
Michael likes it. He's gonna come back for seconds!
☝🏻💁🏻♀️In the mid-south, Texas, we use jiffy cornbread, add chopped green chilies, and cheddar cheese 😉👍🏻
That’s my recipe too❤❤❤
Looks yummy. I do prefer a recipe without the cornbread mix
Hello Julie!
How are you doing?
Add a can of diced green chilis!
Looks and sounds delicious.💗
Do you think it would be more savory if the sugar was just left out? Isn't creamed corn sweet? It sounds like an excellent dish, but all that sugar!? I can tell by Paula and Michael that "made by the recipe" is great, so I might have to adjust it to no sugar right away. Thanks for the recipe Wayne!!
Here in mid PA., we had a restaurant "Country Cupboard" on Lewisburg that had the most delicious corn on their menu. It had a top of corn flavored pudding like 2" on it. Anyone know how to make it?
I have had a similar - but use box of Jiffy mix following ingredients, add 1 can each creamed and whole corn and small package grated cheese - people will fight over it.
@Randy Romines What you're describing is the way Paula made her corn casserole back from the Food Network days. I still make it for Thanksgiving to this very day 🙂
Paula, your's is so delicious to me but this dose look good. I think I will make both of them.
your's and his. All of my family loves your recipe......
Hi Donna how are you doing
We also call that corn bread pudding in Pennsylvania. It's one of my favorite side dishes.
That looks so good. I think it would be good with chopped up jalapenos and a little bit less sugar. I'd have to put a little Texas in it. 😂
Looks Amazing!👍❤️
Hello Malissa !
How are you doing?
Dish looks like the Mexican Corn Casserole dish
Which has cornbread too
Thanks Wayne
Paula
What happened to those cute bright colored air fryers? They were great looking.
I can’t wait to make this 💓
The cutting boards on your oven are awesome! Where did you find those?
This I could make right now
Paula is funny and entertaining. That is why I watch her videos. I wonder though why she doesn't use more fresh as opposed to canned vegetables.Rachel Ray always uses fresh.
Cause she's not Rachel LOL
Looks delicious!
Gotta add this to the Thanksgiving repertoire 🌽
Hi Katie how are you doing
My next Txgvg side dish!!
Thanks💖
Looks delicious
I think I'll stick to the southern corn casserole without all that sugar LOL
Omg love you Paula!! And Eddy.
yummy
Hi Jill!

Hello 👋 Jill
How much butter (melted?)?
We love you Paula🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Love thơse glasses Paula!!

Born, raised in PA. Never heard of this.
Shared a recipe on email and will write a card today. Do live videos on my food blog daily. Made airfyer chicken for myself last night
Thanks so much
Looks like cornbread to me. Looks good though 😅❤
Hi Brenda!
How are you doing?
I make corn pie from my man once a month
How much milk??
How much butter??
One cup of milk and you can use evaporated milk, butter looks like 1-2 tablespoons to me .
Hi Rebecca how are you doing
LOL Michael approved. I’ll be back.
LOL
i think Paula didnt like it ..but is being polite
I think you are right..Miss Paula didn't appear overly thrilled with this recipe.
It is alot of sugar. I wonder if we could cut it down to a half a cup?
You could even cut it down to 1/4 cup.
Now Paula I’ve watched you long enough, I even met you once in person (the Big Food Show out of Fort Washington PA.) and I feel I know you as well as any fan out here. I don’t feel that, even though you were perfectly sweet and that you liked that dish at all. It’s ok Paula, everyone’s tastes are different, and we all have that right…love you Paula💕❤️💕.
Please put those bowls out again!!
Good morning Mrs Paula Deen today's my birthday!!! Dylan Clark
Happy Birthday Dylan!!
The title should read Pennsylvania Dutch baked corn. This is an Amish recipe. Not sure they'd use all that canned crap though.
How much butter
Until your heart tells you to stop. 😁
Dear Paula
You really need to get a different style of eyewear
Please
Monk fruit
Laforme. French. Dont say the “e”! La”form” lol
Thank you for the great videos. However, your face is too pretty to hide behind those large glasses. Smaller, wire frames would suit you much better.
This is just the recipe on the jiffy cornbread box but with too much sugar and not enough butter.
SHE'S NOT THE BEST COOK IN THE WORLD
Hi Marsha!
How are you doing?
@@spencerhen.595 I'M ALRIGHT. HOW ARE YOU?
@@marshamassengale9300 I'm fine thanks for asking....
You were dissing his recipe before trying it. You kept talking about your casserole.

Paula has claimed corn Jiffy casserole as HERS for decades. She raves how everybody all across the country tells her how good it where ever she goes.
Well it is not Paula's recipe. In the 1960s Jiffy put the exact recipe on their box. Furthermore the grocers later printed the Jiffy corn recipe and had it next to where they sold their boxes of cornbread. A shopper could simply tear off the recipe sheet.
Yes Paula dissed his recipe. But it worked out well for her because she slipped in her air fryer commercial. She never can miss a chance to make more money. .
That looks so unhealthy....so much salt. Sugar and GMO's ...
hair person ...do better
Not very good for diabetics
