I'm on the market for a tablet for taking notes and the m5 lite was one of the three finalists, but the fact it'll never get android upgrades made me discard it. And it's a pity because for taking notes it works pretty well for a reasonable price.
Can you draw on this? I mean use this as an alternative/ secondary device for on the go illustrations. I use medibang on my main machine (ASUS transformer) and I think this device might have an advantage in terms of portability and battery life over a surface pro like device if it is usable on android version of medibang or other similar software.

When you buy the tablet, it will not come in with plenty of extra pen nibs. Also, the pen nib will start breaking when you press the stylus hard, so I had a hard time drawing without seeing little fragments break.
Does this tab also helps in marking the PDF files and making note/comments on some important information in PDF file? Since I'm an Lawyer I need that for many Laws in pdf mode.

Would it detect our skin if we lean our hand against the screen to write or would it still detect the pen and ignore the skin contact as long as it is nearby? (for example Samsung tab A pen, it would ignore the skin contact as long as the pen is close enough to the screen)

So what i do is i edit the file, then click the share button on the top right (looks three dots connected in a kinda triangle) then select "share to app" then click pdf and all pages. Then click share. Metamoji will ask which app to share to and i usually select gdrive since it's the most accessible document sharing app for me. Hope this helps!

It should be fine. I would recommend iPad 10.2 since the aspect ratio may be better for reading. It's like reading a normal sized book vs reading a very vertical book.

For a cheap tablet, as long as you got the right app (doesn't work well in some apps as shown in Squid) this works well.

For study purposes (mainly to read and write) which budget tablet will be more useful, Mediapad m5 lite or Apple I pad 6th gen?
Both are good. I probably recommend the iPad more because the Apple Pencil provides a better writing and drawing experience

M5 Lite glass is extremely slippery and replacement pen tips are difficult to fine.
