The stuffed cheese bread has always been hit or miss depending on how much cheese they use and the bake. It's weird, just like their pizza, you'd think Domino's would have everything so exact by now that you'd get the same quality each time.
I mean, you can say that about literally every food place in general, even high end restaurants. It always depends on how much the employee cares when making your food, and with the near minimum wage domino's pays their employees, there isn't much incentive to give it your best effort, some do, some don't, my local domino's always hittin, but that's just location, i've been to several that are worse than cheap frozen pizza's.
@@Akzeriuth2 True words here. My dominos is pretty much always good, too, but the dominos the town over is just awful. The human element is the most overlooked factor in any restaurant.
@@Akzeriuth2Correct. My local Dominoes is great about 90% of the time. The burger places usually can be counted on for consistency with the burgers, but the fries could be hit or miss or even missing. And my Taco Bell is all about timing. Never order early, you'll get the leftovers. Never order at night, you will get a mystery bag. Avoid the unhappy weekend crew. Monday thru Thursday 11 - 4 is best here. Burritos are bigger, fresh, and warmest. Probably a manager around.
Dominos policy states they must weigh out every ingredient before placing the pie in the oven. Every item on the menu has an exact amount of each ingredient needed.
The problem is 95% of Dominos don't use their scales, they eyeball everything and most of the time they either over top or under top and both sides of the spectrum is not enjoyable to eat UNLESS it's right their in the middle....

As a Dominos manager, they didn't put enough cheese on top.
When I worked there, we used to make these all the time, with different combinations too. My favorite was a cheesy bread with Alfredo and spinach inside 🤤🤤🤤
Hell yeah with some chicken and murooms in that!!! If dominos was smart they would create a make your own stuffed cheesy bread... but who are we??? We are just stupid employees/customers...

Interestingly the stuffed cheesey breads as a whole just debuted here in Canada. Was shocked to hear you have had them for a decade in thr US as they are a new addition here as of only like a month ago. Before that they just had bread sticks, cheese bread, garlic parm bites, and cinnastix. I agree the bacon and jalapeno one is fire.

Honestly, they should have been marketing this as a stromboli. That's exactly what it is
Ehhh, not really no. Stromboli is with pizza dough or Italian bread. Domino's cheesy bread is more of a French bread. It's also not *nearly* as stuffed as I'd expect of a Stromboli, there's more bread here than cheese or pepperoni, it really is just the cheesy bread w/ like a dozen pepperoni thrown into it. I very much enjoy it, have had it a few times now, but it's not stromboli at all.
Yeah I tried this and it was all bread. And overcooked. I was seriously not impressed. If this was a Stromboli (and it's trying to be be). It failed badly.
I'd be willing to bet that Domino uses pizza dough for their breads. Regardless it's just structured just like one, which is what I said. @@ino_mation
@@johnnicol8598 My Dominos varies. Mine was good but I'll stick with the cheese bread instead. I feel like they give you less cheese in exchange for that pepperoni.
Unfortunately they charge about $1 for a cup of marinara dipping sauce. I wish it was 30 cents.
Burger King now charges .30 cents for additional itsy bitsy teenie weenie sides of various sauces.
I, for one, wish it was free!

@@andrewnicholas9079 They’ve definitely gone downhill. I only go when I use the app, you can get a free large fry with any purchase. So I get a $1 iceee drink and my free large fry. Some locations a large fry by itself is $5 these days. The $3 whopper ain’t a bad deal either on app.

I generally consider Domino's the best of the "Big 4" (Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesars), so this item looks pretty good. I just think they should have put more emphasis on the cheese and less on the garlic.
Little Caesars is the best and less greasiest. I'd rather eat Dijiornos than the others which are very unhealthy and greasy. The Little Caesars cheese sticks are superior to the Dominos cheesy bread also.

Whenever I go to a fast food drive through I begin my order with "HELLO everyone! Ladies and gentlemen, and everyone watching..." just so they try and attempt to give me higher quality food.

The differences in quality across Domino’s locations is staggering. I’ve had this twice, both from different Domino’s, and have had two massively different results.
One of them I got was baked perfectly, great level of garlic, layered cheese, and enough pepperoni to cover the whole thing.
The other time I got it was basically just slightly cheesy bread.
I've discovered this too, and I suspect it's franchise owners cutting corners to line their own pockets. A location near me started skimping on cheese so badly that a "double cheese" pizza was pockmarked with bare patches. I was fed up enough that I complained to corporate that I'd never return. Two months later, I redeedmed a free pizza with points because, why not? That regular pepperoni had twice as much cheese as the "double cheese" I had attempted to order before. So complain! You might actually be whistle-blowing.
Many fine diners were lost in the Cheesy Bread Wars.

I got this the other night, didn't catch this review until after but it was literally my experience with it. I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was just fine, actually one of the better new fast food items I have gotten in a while. I would definitely order it again.
I think the Dom's marinara would go a treat with this, but it also stands on its own because of the garlic and pepperoni. The sauce cups are $0.89 extra each here in Alabama -- but at least with the marinara you are getting 2 fl. oz. of it instead of the 1.25 fl. oz. of the other sauce cups.

Thanks for doing my request! Not sure if it was intentional or if you planned this but I tried this a few weeks ago and it was complete opposite of what you said lol mine had loads of cheese and garlic and literally only 8 pepperonis inside so I guess it varies on the location. They advertised that they gave out free marinara dip if you got this item so idk why you didn’t get one. Final note it literally tasted like regular cheesy bread and I was hoping for a more pepperoni flavor so I gave this a 3/10 and a 3.5 with the dip

I got this. No cheese on the top of the bread and the entire bread had about 5 slices of Pepperoni. I guess it depends on how your Domino's makes it.

I liked the this cheesy bread when I got it the other day. Didn't get a sauce with it, but it's not too salty unlike the tater tots Dominos did, which definitely need a sauce. The pepperoni bread does have a tendency to split apart in layers though but other than that it was good.
Tried this out a couple days ago. First time trying Domino's cheesy bread so I wasn't expecting just how cheesy and soft it would be. Not a negative but different for sure and not a personal preference. The amount of pepperoni was a bit lacking however, but I'm grateful it wasn't super greasy. Well done but not for me personally. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Interesting to hear your review. I'm a Domino's fan, but I thought #1 it could use more pepperoni, and #2 it was like eating cotton; I highly recommend the marinara sauce too. You're also right about minimal cheese taste, despite how visible the cheese is. If you know what you're getting it's fine, but it wasn't something I'll get again. Glad you enjoyed it!
