Tried this last night, it was alright. I think my biggest complaint was that the steak was such high quality that they used it so sparingly that I kept forgetting it was there.

No one, not a single soul, is going to stop me from taking my future burritos, taco bell or otherwise, and grilling them in my own pan with cheese. Not sure why I never thought to do that before.

Taco Bell is always hit or miss. Sometimes it’s nice and fresh, and well put together. Other times it’s skimpy, lukewarm and unsatisfying. Probably the most inconsistent restaurant chain I’ve been to

Get a quesadilla because those have to get heated in the oven first then it is pressed in a very hot grill to toast it.
I feel like it always hits. Even when it’s cold, it’s good. At least the menu items I like are.

On Taco Bell’s website the seasoned rice is an extra option for 55 cents, its not standard.
Taco Bell screws up a lot of orders, pretty sure they gave him rice by mistake.

I was literally just having the Grilled Cheese Burrito. While seeing this. The 4th burrito wall has been broken Review Brah. But it's Taco Bell, there's not a lot at steak here.
Oh man, I love the grilled cheese burritos so much even though I think I lose a year off my life every time I eat one. My experience with Taco Bell steak usually makes me wonder if it's the same grade of meat reserved for brands like Fancy Feast, but this sounds like it would be worth trying.
i’m personally not crazy about this grilled cheese burrito arc as it is the official replacement for my go-to taco bell order for several years: the quesarito. the quesarito was so simple and worked so well, combining basically all the best elements of this burrito (the seasoned rice, the steak, the chipotle sauce) and omitting all of the fluff (the potatoes, the fiesta strips, the grilled cheese on top). everytime i get this im immensely disappointed in just how much the new ingredients (especially the grilled cheese outer layer) take away from what is otherwise an amazing burrito. luckily i have figured out that asking for them to omit the new ingredients basically leaves you with the original quesarito so while i’m probably a pain in the neck for those poor workers, my taco bell order is not entirely ruined. regardless, great review as always, reviewbrah!!
I was wondering this too and agree!! I am so disappointed they got rid of the quesarito. I’ll definitely be tweaking it to be more like the original quesarito, that was my absolute favorite menu item! I did just try the grilled cheese steak burrito and the Taco Bell I went to did an amazing job, but it definitely doesn’t need the outside cheese, that might be a little overkill lol

I've been watching your reviews for a couple of years now, but this is the first time I was motivated to try out an item on the same day. The burrito was delicious! All of the different flavors blended together well, and there was plenty of steak (more than I expected). I want to try it again in a few days, but with extra bacon next time. Thanks for the review!

If you ever wonder what gives that rice that buttery flavor they add a ladle of canola oil from the fryer to it kinda weird but it works.

Taco Bell lost me when everything went rice filled. I can buy 25 pounds of rice for $12 enough for 1000+ burritos.
Yeah I hate when you buy something like a grilled stuffed burrito and on one side is a scoop of meat and the other side is a scoop of rice. It's like mix that shit in evenly. In fact on the rare occasion I decide to treat myself to taco bell I'll splurge and place my order with no rice, double meat. It gets a bit pricey but it's worth it.

I actually got a steak dinner at outback today for $9. Every Wednesday they offer the walkabout Wednesday deal. You get a 6 oz sirloin, or grilled chicken skewers, choice of a side, and a beer or soda for $9.
I always appreciate these. Though Taco Bell and I are not on eating terms.
Recently broke up with Jack in the box when they gave me tacos with no sauce and then gave me sauce and told me to "put on on yourself. We are too busy"

6:50 By default, it's not supposed to come with rice. At least, I've not seen rice mentioned in any promo ads, nor does it show in the app as a base item when customizing (unless you pay extra to add it in). So if you got rice at no extra charge, then that might have been a mistake in preparation. That said, I appreciate your review, and I definitely want to give this a try. I do wish the bacon would be inside too, not just on the outside.

Steak, bacon, and cheese sounds like a good combination. But it all comes down to execution. I like the size of it. It's a generous portion. But when we look on the inside, it seems like they are using the potatoes and seasoned rice as a cheap filler. I would be much more interested in the steak. But like you, I am a big fan of chipotle sauce. I have had it on sub sandwiches at subway, and it was very good.
I just imagine a concoction of decent quality beef, cheese, and bacon with some sort of pepper-laden sauce, perhaps involving cream. Skip the starches, just pour the mess into a bowl and eat it with a fork or a spoon depending on its consistency.

I liked the grilled cheese but I am hesitant on trying this because of the bacon on the outside and inside and the price. That is a little crazy for a fast food stop.

When did they start making burritos out of rice? Taco Bell used to make them out of beans and beef. Burritos have never been my favorite things . The tortilla tends to get soggy. Now that rice is the main ingredient I like them even less.

I got it a second time, and the staff decided that they'd substitute the tasteless fiesta strips for bacon, and it was the worst disappointment in my life. And of course, the store closed before I could go back to get it replaced. For $7, I felt attacked.

That bacon, steak and cheese burrito that you were hawking had seasoned rice inside.. We are in NJ craving this deliciousness and scoped out our Taco Bell site... This burrito is riceles ( standard ) , and come with rice as an additional charge... Either way, looks delicious and keep up the good job...

I tried this burrito last night. The outer cheese and bacon did not cover the whole burrito like a blanket as appearing in the video but was just a strip going up the middle. The bacon was soft bacon bit quality. I didn't realize bacon was on the outside until it started falling off of the burrito.

I've found, where I am, if you order a Grilled Cheese Burrito and add jalapeños, they'll put them under the cheese on the outside of the burrito like the OG Spicy GCB. I'm about to grab one of these Steak & Bacon GCB's and add jalapeños and see what happens. Pray for my gi!

Gotta say, that burrito looks fantastic. I do love the grilled cheese burrito, but I prefer it with beef. It’s less expensive than the steak, and I find the beef more flavorful.
The online menu doesn't say that it includes rice. I think they just gave you rice extra /shrug

I tried this yesterday. Mine was bad. It was very small and the cheese on the outside was cooked until it was almost black. There was almost no bacon. There was very little flavour. I may have just got a bad one, but i have no desire to try it again.

The problem with the cheese is that Taco Bell's nacho cheese has no flavor. They really need to just switch to movie theater style nacho cheese (the good kind, not the terrible stuff they had before 2020).
