Hello.I'm from Bangladesh and Emma Watson is my favourite actress. She has proved that fame and beauty aren't everything, humanity is also important. So she has visited a developing country and thought about it's development. I'm very proud to think that my favourite actress is a real human🤗🤗🤗
Wow, not only beautiful, classy, down to earth, sweet, and has a good heart and humanitarian. And brave going to a dirty, impoverished counry like that when she doesn't have to and very wealthy. Talk about marriage material. I would marry her in a heartbreat.
im from bangladesh... m so thankful to emma for wat she's doin for countries lyk ource! im also amazed to see her go to those places! realy i know how they are lyk... she inspires me to do something good someday too. go emma :)
It's agreed that buying Fairtrade clothing is sometimes not always possible for low income families but if you look at things like Fairtrade tea, coffee and bananas you'd actually realise that it's more or less the same price as non-fairtrade tea, coffee and bananas and quite often much better quality. I too struggle to buy Fairtrade clothing but it really helps if you don't buy those cheap bits of clothing here and there and instead save up and buy just a few Fairtrade items
Exactly as said above Description. Great video and really eye-opening about this factual workability as it's hard labour for little an opportunity these people does. Keep it up and up-to-date.
I completely agree, it is really inspiring! :))) but why didn't You put this earlier?? We can obviously see that this is not a new video because of Emma's hair!!
Emma has millions of pounds now, she went to stagecoach so she must have been well of as a child. She may not know what it is like living in a family on minimum wage trying to break out of your own poverty cycle. Buying non-fairtrade items is not a choice, it's a chore. Emma is a real role model, and no doubt she understands some people aren't wealthy, but maybe she forgets. This month it has been so hard to put food on the table let alone buying expensive clothing. It is simple not an option.
I buy from Amway and everytime you buy something you give a sum of money to Unicef which is great. I also try to buy fair trade products like tea and chocolate and what ever. I Would love to buy FT clothes like these and I would really much like to design FT clothes as well. In my country we have something called OD(Operasjon Dagsverk/ Operation Days work) and it's a day where you take free from school to work and earn money which goes to education in countries like Bangladesh. It's really great
@downbytheharbour I think you're saying that some people simply cannot afford to buy these clothes? Of course Emma has had a, sort of, privileged life growing up, but remember it's not like she was born into an immensely wealthy family where she didn't have to work for anything. Being an actor/actress is most definitely not the most strenuous line of work, but it also requires hard work and commitment. You must understand these products are not marketed towards people barely making ends meet.
Other people don't think where did their clothes come from and now I realise that it is a hard work, so if I buy from People Tree, do my money reach the main manufacturers, I mean the women who make the material, the one who are showed in this video? Maybe You can interview them and ask(to prove), do their living condition change if I buy these organic clothes from PT? I don't have many opportunities to donate or buy from PT but now (because of this video) I WANT TO BUY, want to help. THANK YOU!
Sorry Emma watson I missed spelled it wrong my bad just take care of your self and your heart ❤ and body safe for the best 👌 Emma danielle you both have to be strong 💪 and careful with this virus and be true to your self
Emma watson protect your heart ❤ and body okay 👌 college is your life with studying reading books and all so be strong 💪 Emma danielle should do the same but you have it all beauty 💖 smart as a young woman in college now dating you have to be careful with this virus keep Paris close to you okay 👌 focus on your future Emma and study hard 💖
Empower people to help themselves. It's the best way to give people dignity, and go some way to alleviating poverty. For that I applaud People Tree and their supporters. HOWEVER, People Tree's clothes are not cheap and many low income people buy fast [primark] fashion because it's what they can afford. What we need is for Fair Trade clothing and other FT products to become pervasive so that they can become more affordable to the average Mr and Ms Public.
@MathewTitus I don't think a lot of people know about people tree anyway, which is unfortunate. I've told a lot of people, and everyone I've told have never heard of it before. It's horrible because some of them actually buy £60 jeans or £200 boots, not knowing where they came from. These women don't get enough credit.
Emma watson as a young woman how now's a lot of different countries a round the world 🌎 as humana terrain working with a lot of people ❤ out there how whant to make a living for them selves you now how to make every thing feel really good about them just look into your heart ❤ and beauty ✨ so that this virus can be over and done okay 👌
@ThievNWalrus Yeah, it's the same with the meat industry. A lot of people try to forget what it's like, which I understand as it's a horrible, horrible thing. Although, if we thought about all of the injustice of the world we would go insane. I think that in a world where things like this aren't regularly shown, we forget about it quite a bit. That's the real injustice
@downbytheharbour : The are enough people in the industrialized world capable of buying fair cloth. Most of the people in the western world earn enough money.
It's not because people don't care, people do care. I'm 16 and would love to buy fair trade clothing, but it isn't cheap. Emma hasn't really had to worry about money. Jumpers/trousers/tops for over £50. I don't have that kind of money. Seeing this just makes it all the worse because I can do NOTHING to help because I've got nothing to give, I feel horrible when I buy non-fairtrade things, but the difference is not pennies. If it was then I would get it, but it really is not.
@Fisheye2k Yeah there are loads of people that could buy it, there is no excuse why those who can afford it shouldn't. But you can't say that FairTrade isn't expensive. And in this economy people aren't going to be buying £50 trousers when they can get them for £10. I wouldn't say most people. A lot of people maybe half, but no more. Most if not all the people I know see the appeal with fairtrade and would love to help out but if you don't have the money you shouldn't be made to feel guilty.
