    I just went to the post office today to pick up one of these little welders and I'm glad I did after watching your video. Thank you.

    As a new welder I bought the Mig250 4in1 welder with the intention of someday use gas. For now I'm using it as flux core on 110 volt plug. The only complaint is I can't find a settings chart. The dial system seems different than other machine. Both V and A dials are 0-10. Only the A is displayed on a digital screen and I understand it's also associated with the wire speed. I'm assuming "A" is showing me amps. V only a 0-10 dial.on my machine. In my first tests, I was able to get a nice penetrating bead with the provided .035 wire and the settings V=5 and A=110 on 1/8 steel.
    I realize this is probably one of the hardest things to do but I'm now trying to butt weld 22 gauge steel. Still on a 110 volt plug, I bought some Lincoln .030 at HD. I've got both the dials turned to 0 ("A" digital reading at 20 ). I'll try again tomorrow but I was getting a lot of blowout. Any setting suggestions on these 0-10 dials or a chart? Especially now for 22 gauge steel? Thanks

      Did you buy a Simder Mig 250? Because I've never seen one of those. You might want to check out my review of the Vevor Mig 250, it could be that the controls are similar. Sorry, but that's all I've got for you.

      That's a great price for a decent little all around welder. And honestly, I wasn't even aware these were still available.

    can the wire speed be adjusted?

    • @3rdpig
      @3rdpig  Год назад

      Yes, but not by itself. This machine is a synergic welder, meaning wire speed, amperage and voltage are all adjusted together with the knob on the right marked "A". The knob on the left marked "V" gives the user some fine tuning for voltage alone.

    Hello, I recently purchased this welder and was wondering if you have any pointers about the Voltage settings to the Amp settings? Thank you

      Yes, please watch the video below, I made it just to answer this particular question. I know I made it using the Vevor Mig 130, but it works just as well with the Simder Mig 140 and all other similar Chinese flux core welders. Thanks for watching and let me know if it works for you!
