The first words ever said on the surface on the moon:
"Contact light"
- Buzz Aldrin
The first thing he did on the moon was pee into the suit.
No. You don't hear it but Neil said something before that
They’re getting so old… but they all look great, what an amazing life these men have lived. 😎
1st real words from the Moon: "Houston, we're completely surrounded..."
1st real words from the moon: "Houston, we're in a Hollywood basement".

The Earth is Flat.
Daniel M Connolly Apparently you're not too bright, considering mankind has known the earth is round (and could prove it) as long ago as Galileo's day. Duh
@@Chief2Moon
Apparently you're not to bright. The earth has no visible or provable curvature and nobody has ever proved the Heliocentric model.
On the other hand, Flat Earth evidence is piling up daily with irrefutable and undeniable proof.
@@danielmconnolly7 So you're just looking for attention and idiocy is your only shot?
Neil: "Engage thrust igniter."
Buzz: "DOH!"
HEY, Next time you make a switch to something so important. Make it a little stronger, and have a backup also.
Well. Buzz was telling a great story here but here are the facts. If the circuit breaker did, in fact, a trip they had two other options. Neil said he really wasn't worried about it. If they had started the engine the odds are the circuit breaker wouldn't have closed anyway. If it did and the pen didn't hold it NASA had another idea to open it again. Note that NASA wasn't counting on a circuit breaker to do or die for the Astronauts. On the other side of the cabin, on Panel 11, was the ENG START OVRD (Engine Start Override) circuit breaker: They also had a manual override button that would override every circuit breaker even if they were tripped.

The felt tip pen or the ball point was the million dollar pen?
So, exactly how did they "air lock" back and forth from the Lunar Lander?
The entire lander is depressurized and repressurized. It was too small a vessel to have an airlock and it had to be very light.
Ask Stanley Kubrick.
@Moon shiner the same way you depressurize and repressurize an air lock. They pump the air into a holding tank, then release it back into the cabin when they get back. An airlock doesn't release air into space.
Moon shiner Better lay off the moonshine, its affecting your cognitive abilities
@@Chief2Moon Nonono Dallas!. Fact is there are too many 'anomalies' in the entire Apallo myth. And even someone who has never looked at it - when they do glance, the question starts. Item: a 360 ft tall rocket weighing 3000 tons blast off (a handful of ppl warching, the crowd 10miles off see lotsa snoke fire and hear thunder and thats it) and, ahem rocket goes faster then a bullet to get into leo, with 1st, 2nd, then 3rd stage emptying and falling off mt, until finally a 45 ton craft is left orbiting at 17500 mph! Now it took 3000 tons fuel get to leo; where on earth is the fuel to
a) speed up to 25020mph, TLI, or escape velocity and
b) overcome earth gravity to 'fly me to the moon'?
A Ton of compressed air weighs 1.5 tons (containment and piping) ... where did the 'stronots , ahem, bm etc?
Actually the breaker was on. If he had tripped even with the switch attached they would have had to deal with it. NASA already had another plan just in case. No big deal in the end
Amazing!
These men were so brave! Can you imagine? One mistake snd you are stuck until you run out of oxygen.

Cool story bro.

How did a plastic pen, complete the circuit? His metal pen would have been a suitable substitute, considering plastic doesn't conduct electricity. I've never been a "moon landing denier", but this story just doesn't add up.
11wanny11: They used the plastic pen to push in the circuit breaker because the original plastic plunger had broken off. The metal part that makes the actual electrical contact is behind the panel. If you listen CAREFULLY he tells you that. His account is entirely logical and in accordance with the known facts.
@Tekkun Olam Have you been so moronic since birth, or did you sustain a major brain injury at some point? Or are you just trolling? No rational, intelligent person believes that NASA pays people to post online comments.
Buzz sure wears a lot of jewelry.
Burt Wonderstone well, he’s sitting on the largest net worth of any of the astronauts
In the film studio he means
What ridicylous lies! Gettng rid of backpacks wasnt throwing em out and 'closing the door'! A very detailed scenerio was 1) both astros in cabin, connect lifelines then shut switches to PLSS's and take them off 2) bkpks size/weight say they must be carefully not to damage door seal be out outside then somehow thrown by astronaut off lander. Buzz is bs'ing saying they THREW the pks out from standing! The hatch only 32 square inch! It also near impossible to seal door anyway!
man...that poor guy, and crew..having to hold in the truth about what they saw up there. I mean cmon...they all look just like they did on stage 50 yrs ago during the first press conference....tense...nervous, tight lipped...not happy and jovial or reminiscing like they should be doing...its so obvious that they do NOT wanna be talking about the landing. They have never liked talking about it
Too bad he didn't find the circuit breaker that would engage those 'sure of themselves' fools that claim we didn't go to the moon.
The lie still continues
Sounds like it was a casual trip to the desert, lots of pens to be had and sleep seemed to be the number 1 priority. Come on guys the jig is up you could not have done this thing unless there is something you haven't told us about yet? Such as the temperatures on the 'moon' and in the 'vacuum of space'? The whole thing is nonsense to believe that these guys all travelled through the Van Allen Radiation Belts and are still kicking here in their 80's afterwards. The amount of radiation they would have been exposed to is enormous and would have killed them instantly in their unshielded craft- that let moon dust in through the cracks! as Buzz says in this video when he lied down on the floor to sleep 'Oh the dust!' So really? You really think they did huh? Man it's just sad.
Walking nonsense, all the your-likeminded. Don't try science, not your thing.
"The whole thing is nonsense to believe that these guys all travelled through the Van Allen Radiation Belts and are still kicking here in their 80's afterwards."
Well, not really, since they specifically took a path away from the thickest parts of the van allen belts, and it wouldn't be enough to kill you instantly even if they had gone directly through. Even standing next to a sphere of plutonium about to go superciritcal and explode while releasing a fatal flash of radiation would take hours to kill you (some unfortunate american scientists found this out the hard way: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demon_core ). The amount of radiation the Apollo astronauts endured through the whole trip was about the equivalent of five chest x rays spread over several days.
"that let moon dust in through the cracks! as Buzz says in this video when he lied down on the floor to sleep 'Oh the dust!'"
The dust was dragged in on their space suits, from there the fine particles could easily have gotten almost anywhere, especially the floor after bringing their suits in from being nearly covered in the stuff after a while.
How do you know Van Allen Radiation belts exist? Did NASA tell you it exists? So why do you trust their word when it suits you and when you think it confirms your already existing beliefs but you don't trust them when they say they went past the radiation belt?
@@paleemperor5379
"How do you know Van Allen Radiation belts exist? Did NASA tell you it exists?"
They didn't tell me specifically, and I'm pretty sure other space programs in different countries have studied them as well. Also, it's fairly simple to figure out that there should be something the van allen belts, since Earth's magnetic field should trap the charged particles like those that create the auroras.
"So why do you trust their word when it suits you and when you think it confirms your already existing beliefs but you don't trust them when they say they went past the radiation belt?"
What? I am not cherrypicking my information here, you can easily find that Apollo took a path through an area of the belts closer to the poles, which it would have had to have done anyway since they took off from Florida which would end up with an inclined orbit.
@@feathered3167 I wasn't responding to you. You've responded to two of my comments in two different threads as if i was talking to you but i wasn't. You're the lying ass. 12 NASA astronauts walked on the Moon in the period 1969-1972, and you need to accept that reality AND the fact that your mind is too tiny to comprehend such a great achievement, for which there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that no one in the global community of physical scientists contests.

Buzz Aldrin is still alive, Neil arm strong is the one that died. It's buzz talking in the video.
Also, I'm not sure how you could get a huge government conspiracy of the proportion needed to fake the moon landings, while the US government couldn't keep what Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky did in the oval office a secret at all.
@@robst247 no prove someone went to moon ..and your hillbilly brain is conditioned to be proud as an American to believe what your government tells u cause your government knows how stupid you are for not questioning what's obvious.

LOLOLOL
We could barely keep up with the motherland, then after a speech by jfk..boom we got them through radiation fields to the moon in a thin spacecraft. Okey dokey guys.
Aaron Michael the radiation fields... right. Wasn't a problem back then because the whole trip took less than a week. It's something that needs more consideration now because we're talking about sending people beyond earth's magnetic field for more than a few months.
There's a great documentary out there that illustrates a lot of fabrications made by our goverment brass. Just ask yourself if in a time when countries were considering blasting the moon with nukes, is it possible the Shepard lied to his flock.
To be fair, Sputnik was little more then a toy technologically. And the Redstone rocket that carried Shepard was actually scheduled to launch before Vostok 1, but because the Jupiter rockets used in test flights had a nasty habit of exploding (great job Air Force) NASA decided to do an unmanned test with a fully-functional Redstone, which allowed the Soviets to win the "first man in space" achievement.
Basically, the US wasn't far behind to begin with, but tended to be more conservative with scheduling and thus fell behind on achievements early. The US was unequivocally ahead once Gemini got started.
As for the Van Allen belts, Apollo went through the thinnest portions very quickly. In particular, Apollo dodged the inner belts. That being said, they did receive upwards of 1 RAD over the course of a flight, which is likely why Apollo astronauts have a higher-then-average cancer incidence rate.

that man is a liar
@Joseph Argibay because he thinks the government lied to us? No, that makes him a nice guy. The a holes bend over to whatever is fed to them.
Buzz Aldrin's story telling, the post mission debreif, the weird behaviour of Neil what makes me not believe in moon landings.
So seemingly weird behavior somehow outweighs the literal hundreds of pounds of material brought back from the moon? That's almost the same as saying that a typo someone made in a story about when they went hunting means they're lying even though they brought back a dead deer with an arrow lodged in its heart.
Learn about the man himself, Neil's life was full of tragedy up until the launches. He was a deeply introverted man. Also, the press conference was held after a mandatory quarantine period after the three astronauts returned to the earth and they were all quite exhausted by this point. If you see the footage of them before being quarantined, they are all quite joyful and happy. I used to think it was a hoax too, but the more you really look into it, the more you'll find overwhelming evidence they really went.
Buzz how's your conscious feel lying to all of Earth ? Does it eat at you knowing what you seen on the Moon and not telling the people ? Thieves like you keep humanity in the dark ages old man !
