- This is an unreleased song by Linkin Park that was made around the Meteora era. It can be heard in the "Making of Meteora" video, however this is an extended version. This is a wonderful instrumental and i hope you enjoy.
I do NOT own this music. All rights go to Linkin Park and Warner Brothers.
The Original has been released under Meteora 20 named "Healing Foot", but this instrumental is banger.
It's by Soaring Man. You can find it on his channel.

I don't know why, but this song has this certain vibe to it that makes me feel like had this been included on Meteora, it could've been one of those classic LP songs from the Hybrid Theory/Meteora era.

The demo songs just make me mad and bitter. I can find no logic in why they abandoned such a unique style of music that only they could do, to conform with society and become a generic rock/pop band to sound just like everything else. They were tired of being unique and unstoppable is the only conclusion I can come to. The demo of "Halo" alone is more awesome than anything they have composed since METEORA. I just don't get it...

This was a really quick clip on the Making of Meteora that is now looped to be a full thing. Fun fact: The piano part later got re-used for Robot Boy on A Thousand Suns.

I am like 90% sure this is a very early demo of Easier to Run. Drums are identical, the strings are the same, the piano is a similar melody to the line "Replacing this pain with something numb" the guitars are completely different, but that's very par for the course with LP. The guitars change a lot from Demo to Release with LP. However I shall look into this more

This is a segment off of the meteora making of dvd when mike talks about how long it took rob to track drums I'm extremely happy you did this easily one of my favorite instrumentals. This could have easily been the introduction to the record exactly the way its presented right here. I could listen to this on loop for hours its literally perfect! I had recently rewatched that dvd with the wife a few days ago and was ironically debating on extracting the audio and polishing it up in my software just to make it sound a tad prettier but the way you have it here is perfect!

my guess this loop were prepared for some song type like crawling/easier to run and to use it in bridge/outro ... but they ultimately picked different... bc its not dark loop. its optimistic and kinda "end of song" type of tone ... and these kind of "optimistic endings are in those non rap song where chezz had 99% of sing time ..

wjveryzer7985 there are fan made versions of this demo where they included an electronic intro but this version in particular, can actually be heard in the making of Meteora towards the end. This version is real but it's just on loop because the actual version is just short
