It is not from Kirby's Dream Land. Gourmet Race originated in Super Star, which was released in 1996.
The confusion likely comes from the fact that a few random people on the internet got the name wrong and it spread when dancing to it became a vine trend.
Perhaps the initial error came from the fact that They usually use the Smash Bros 64 remix of Gourmet Race that plays on the stage "Dreamland".
I get so ticked off when people call it the Kirby's Dreamland theme. I would be more forgiving if it was a song that recurs a lot more in the series, like Green Greens or something, but it's Gourmet Race, which isn't even remixes too often when compared to other Kirby songs. it's just a popular Kirby song, so it is regarded as the main theme.
