Bring them back! I found them only on this 2022... I bought the last 2 albums and they became two of my all time favourite, it's hard to accept to not being able to seem them live :(
The first time I saw them was in college station. There were 4 people in the...well, crowd isn't the right word...floor. There were people on the floor. My buddy who was a DJ for an A&M radio station, my buddy who was just there to get out of the apartment, and Me, and a hispanic girl that followed them around. A groupie, I guess you'd call her. So I'm sitting at a table, smoking my black and mild, and the girl comes over to us and she is freaking out with excitement. jittery, hyper, doing the hand waggle that girls do that looks like horizontal jazz hands, and just bubbling over with energy. She asks us if we've ever seen them before (and you can tell if someone has or not, because they'd be standing to get closer if they had). I say "no" of course, and she goes on a 10 minute squeelfest about how these guys are the greatest band ever... typical fan-person stuff. So I nod and politely edge my chair away from her before she explodes. Then the stage goes dark... A muffled sounding prerecorded message comes on in a 1930s style voice and yammers a bit while the guys set up in the dark. I can hear them kicking around beneath the 1930s voice, then even that cuts off and there is darkness and silence again... for about 5 seconds. The stage EXPLODES with sound just the loudest and craziest stuff you've ever heard. If it's in a pattern called "music" I can't tell. The side lights slowly fade in, and the guitarist and bassist are absolutely going nuts. They are jumping, they are shaking, they are smashing the strings like they just got back from space and found out we were out of bananas. About 15 seconds later, a pattern starts to emerge from the sound... it's heavy, brutal, and still chaotic, but it's hard to hear because I'm staring at the guys flipping out on stage... Then the side lights dim a bit and the center light spotlights Darroh. While the other two (4 if you count everyone else) are going berserk, he is standing in front of the mic stand with a cigarette and calmly taking a drag every few moments or so. He has one hand propping his smoking hand's elbow up and he is almost totally motionless aside from the puffs he takes. The juxtaposition of people rocking so hard I've got 9 and 1 predialed into my phone just in case it's a seizure, and Darroh standing there cool as a cucumber, almost motionless, burned that memory into my head like a billion watt bulb. I'd never seen ANYTHING like that... it was so unexpected I was almost paralyzed with shock. Then Dance of the Manatee started, and Darroh did his thing, which also blew me away. By the second song, the DJ, the bored friend, the groupie, and I were ALL at the edge of the stage rocking our brains out. And that's my "first time I saw FTM" story. The next show they played had 30 people there. The next had 150. The next was so packed they had to keep people outside. We started the arm linking and waving side to side during the middle of "A Seafarer's Knot" and every show, more people did it, until their final show there had all 1000 of us in rows, packed like sardines with our arms on each others shoulders to each side until we got to "raise our glasses up high". Every show is a different amazing memory for me. I even got Darroh to sign my shirt before their second show down there, which I still have. (although it doesn't quite fit anymore)
EsJay W. Pair'A'Deez I saw them back in 2011 months before they broke up. I was like 20 at the time and had strep throat. it was incredibly amazing even though i felt horrible. to this day they are still one of the best bands I seen live. hopefully one day they'll come back.
@merlopick Piss off....This is a true live ROCK SHOW! Just because your live Justin Bieber show's have all of the vocals overdubbed to fix the inconsistencies doesn't mean he's any better (not to mention he couldn't hit most of these notes!)
THANK YOU!!! everyone's so obsessed with darroh, yea he's amazing but langley and cliff like... and what about the drummer?! i forgot his name but i think he pwns everyone in the band! so yea, matt is amazing though
@Dillbob1 Yes, he's very original in his singing and he has a wide range, but he's very inconsistent and screws up a lot which is something I find very inconvenient for a professional singer.

I miss this band, so god damn much
fairtowrestleabearonceistrue
Wish they had that bridge in the original song :/ the album needed more of those phenomenal growl/screams. So unique
I listen to this song everyday like 4 times FTM is the most talented band ive seen in years
Best version of this song
I hope this channel never gets removed.
One of their best live performances!!!

EsJay W. Pair'A'Deez forgot to ask but what bar was this at?
12 fucking years ago...goddammit time flies
Here is the picture you asked for, this is the equation that matched I have nothing to do with it!
Jesus, I haven’t watched this in years. It’s been too long.
i get the chills when i hear this song
it is that awesome
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
I wish the song had the screaming part on in the middle on the album versions....both ISF and Fables
also if you think about it no one really has the vocal capability of darroh which is why he gets noticed
and i like that interlude or bridge thing that they play in the middle
pissed they dont still do the breakdown :(

walls of jericho all the way, but i like this one alot too...ah screw it it, they all kick ass
these guys kick much ass
I'm curious to know where did he "mess up" at? I love how even through the dogshit audio quality his high notes pierce right through!
FTM for life!!
true true but still, darroh usually is the only one to get noticed
@merlopick They make up for those occasional slip ups with their enthusiasm though ^^
goosebumps

Drummer Brett and Matt are awesome people too.
So you're one of those people that think that you have to have experience in a field to recognize talent level in it?
is there a FTM song that sucks. I THINK NOT!!!!
@Dillbob1
Yes, he's very original in his singing and he has a wide range, but he's very inconsistent and screws up a lot which is something I find very inconvenient for a professional singer.
it sounds liek the guitar is out of tune...singer is amazing tho :)
