if there is any info missing, anything not understood, ask in the comments. brain storm, discussions.
torque specs are listed in the manual for specifics. of course they are not shown in the video, which we apologize for not showing.

recommended torque for the smaller bolts under 15 foot pounds should always be inch pounds. to convert foot pounds to inch pounds, multiply 12 to ft/lbs for proper inch pounds.

best trick for installing the piston clips is to use a 4 inch vice-grip brand plyers. its small enough to be able to get the clip ring started easily and it never flies away.
Nice tunes dude..never really here much of that nowadays hardstyle
In what way did you finish placing the rings on the piston?
there is no particular way to facing the rings. however in this case the opening end was faced at the 6 o'clock position
Hola! Cada cuantas horas se cambia el piston y aros? Le doy un uso amteur.gracias es una rmz 450 2018.
for pRo maybe 6 hour amateur u can ride 10hour
Ni caso, el pistón te dura 60 horas mínimo si no le das mucha caña puede que más
What do you do if the spring covers won't slide on past the spring?
you never showed torquing of head bolts and specs
The specs are listed in the manual. Supposed to be
Hey man, I don’t know if you’re still active on this channel, but I have an 07 RMZ450 and the timing chain doesn’t stay in line with the guide. When I try to turn the engine over it kicks the chain off the sprocket on the bottom end. Would appreciate any help.
That is an interesting problem. Make sure the guides are on properly and make sure the stator cover is on.
@@mxchris8173 does the stator cover put pressure on the guides or something?
@@Justin_SVT realistically there should not be a need to have the stator cover off because the inner stator bolt should be installed and torqued down already. If the chain is coming off then the only theory is have without looking at it is the chain is bad or the gear itself is bad. And also the stator cover is what helps find the 2 marks for the timing
@@mxchris8173 the gear itself looks fine, but when I try to turn the engine over a full rotation by hand (and I can’t do that unless the stator cover is off) the guide sort of rustles and kicks the chain off the gear.
@@Justin_SVT that is a very unusual problem. The guides surely cannot be on correctly or something else is pulling the chain off because the rubber guides are what stop the chain from coming off or improper rotation. Make sure the chain has tension
I have a suzuki rmz 450 2007.
It was sitting about 1 year.. it did not start.. cleaned the carb twice.. it started but it is running well only with choke on.. when the choke is off the bike popping and backfiring... Also a little smoke comes out from the carb... What is going on????
Carb clean it with wd40
That is a very good question. Should replace that carb, and ensure you have the jetting experimented on
Turned off, music too loud
I appreciate the feedback
My timing mark on the magneto cover won’t stay aligned ?? Keeps moving
It will never be true, but you want it just before it goes past top dead. In a way, you want it just before it forces its rotation
