Unfortunately i was unable to see your videos on RUclips last times. But i can tell that the quality hasn't changed. Well done👌
Nice Test!! Thank you!!
Just got the 1.0L 155 puma …. Really impressed
Nice review👍🏻
Very nice test! Its a great car
Very good video as always ! But I don't understand that mild hybrid versions seem to have shorter gear ratios compared to the regular ecoboost 100/95 and 125 in the fiesta and focus. That's even more surprising considering that the mild hybrid versions have more torque !
Great Acceleration Bro! i did 8... something seconds! In my Acceleration with this car! Good Shifting!
very useful to know fuel consumption at real speeds, thanks
Good pedal! What's in the tank?
Wohoooo 6 Liter bei 120Kmh. Das ist mega gut. Danke dir für das Viedeo. ich denke das wir uns diesen Wagen kaufen werden.
I think more realistic is around 6.3-6.5 but it's quite good on highways. If I loaded it heavily then it's not so responsive and need reduce to 5th gear to accelerate sometime. But it not feel very weak even under high load. It's quite surprising sometime how good it accelerate with such small engine. It feels little slower than my 1.6 ecoboost 150hp but it's much less flexible in acceleration from low rpm like 1500rpm it starts drive good at 2000rpm
How did like the seats? Are they comfortable and not too narrow?
Nice car
Nice car but I want a automatic version!!
Shouldn't it have digital dials?
Led headlights?
Why no digital dash?
how did you accelerate like that after switching gears? don't you need to lift off the clutch first
Theres a specific rpm where you dont need cluch (manual), just hard to find it, it may be expensive
Very nice car! Does its battery need charge by electricity like plug-in?
No. It charges itself. John 🇬🇧
kolko stojí takové auto?
Oh I was looking for this, thank you very much! Any chance you may get the fiesta with the same engine as well?
Maybe soon or later we will test this strong fiesta :)
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK Thanks!
Can you do ford kuga titanium
Könntest du vielleicht testen, wenn das Auto ein Wireless Ladefunktion, dein Handy rein passt und dazu schreibst welches Modell? :)
also mir hat Huawei P30 Pro New Edition reingepasst und von mein Kolleg noch grössere Handy Xiaomi POCO X3 reingepasst, war aber knapp :)
St line with 16" alloy wheels? Aren't 17" standard for st line?
Winter wheels
Is there any difference between this and the model with 125PS? I am interested in buying one of them!
yes. 1st is the gear ratios. 2nd this car gets above 125hp at 4500rpm and then grows to 150 at 6000rpm. in practice i felt the 155 version to have more pick up and with the short gears it has a better acceleration. if you want to travel on motorways 125 is the one to buy. if you need to overtake cars and trucks on small roads then 155 is the one to buy
@@e7234 ok , thank you :-)!
The 1.0 turbo engine comes with 235Nm of torque. That's incredible.
190 nm by the engine and 45nm by the electric helper. As it is mild hybrid you will get the extra 45nm only if there is battery charge.
Mercedes A45: 500 Nm from 2 liters
i was wrong at that time because there wasn't enough information about the engine. between 1500rpm and 3000rpm in sport mode you get the full electric boost of 40nm making the car go from 190nm to 230nm. To understand what really is happening is that you get 230nm but at power inputs from 30 to 80hp (at 3000rpm). So you really do not notice the electric help. then from 3000rpm to 5000rpm the max electric help you can get either in normal or sport mode is 20nm, so you go from 190 to 210nm at most while there is electric charge. Above 5000 rom my car(focus 155 active) has never used the electric help. you can see this in other pov videos. Above 5000rpm you get only around 160nm without electric help.
18:17 Beschleunigung in unter 8 Sekunden? Wikipedia sagt 9,2s
Vielleicht kann mir das jemand erklären :-)
Official acceleration 0-100 Km/h is 9,2 seconds and you manage to do it in less than 8 seconds! Was it a downhill acceleration?
Car is light, wheels are small. I am sure it is on flat road. Maybe some tail wind and also you can consider speedometer error.
it has very good winter tyre with Goodyear Ultragrip, it was so good grip that almost no ESP blinkin while acceleration. thats why it was so good acceleration grip and it was on very flat autobahn A67 north of Mannheim Germany
I do not know how they do it in Germany but in Poland the tests are consistent with the manufacturer's data. In this movie acceleration is better, top speed is higher and fuel consumption is lower.
9.2 official for a fiesta with 155 bhp. I think official figures are very wrong. Even 150 bhp Octavia (bigger car) does officially 0-100 in 8.4 seconds.
If it was in a flat freeway, then that acceleration time is pretty impressive, especially for a 1.0 3-cylinder installed on a Focus!
I would have a manual transmission
Wow, consumption is certainly not really low but it’s impressive fast isn’t it?
Fuel consumption seems fine for me, hybrid do save some fuel while at acceleration. For example while you accelerate you see like 20-30 liter instant fuel consumption, with hybrid does save some liter. Thats good for city driving while many stop and go traffic
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK i am going to buy focus kombi. But only this engine is available then 2.3 st. Is it ok? Now driving 1.6ecoboost 150hp.
I lookedat skoda octavia but this one looks much better for me and i like ford. Bmw 3 touring is small in comparison to this one and expensive. All match for me in this car just worried about engine.
looks pretty good to me, lot of horses drink a lot of fuel. The good thing compared to old gasoline engines is that you can achieve very low consumption with slow speeds and eco map. With an old engine is literally impossible to stay below 6l/100km unless you are downhill.
@@FefyGT I owe the focus kombi 1.0 155hp mhev since 2 months. So far drive 4300km and my avg consumption is 7.3l / 100km. Highway driving 120-130km/h without lot braking and acceleration is quite decent around 6.3-6.5 l / 100 km.
Every acceleration consumes lot of fuel i would say it consume more fuel in city driving than highway at 120-130km/h speed. If you want reach 7.0 in city driving i am not sure if it's possible but for sure can't disable start stop which sometime is annoying and don't start engine when needs to be started. In general I would like to have 1.6l with 200 hp in this car. The st line makes it quite hard (suspension) but because of this handling is very nice. Now comparing to titanium mk3 from 2011 titanium was very soft and comfortable. The bad thing is driving at around 3k rpm makes the exhaust quite loud so driving 140km/h on highway isn't soo good.
Un 1.0 che va più di un 2.0, però!
When launch in India
I dont know, ask ford dealer in india
Why hybrid?
because of europe emissions law, car manufacture musst below 95 g CO2/km thats why nowadays many new cars has smaller engine and hybrid engine, if they dont make below 95 gramm they have pay big fine in million euro
But this car is not hybrid. It's only petrol.
look at speedometer in the screen with battery symbol
Wheels the size of casters but a B&O stereo? Weird spec! At least by american standards
Its because winter tyre, but the winter tire was the best i ever drive, so many good grip, almost no esp blinking while hard acceleration, very good in corners. Called goodyear ultragrip
Thinner tires give better economy. Also these caster-size wheels are good up to 200 km/h, so I see no issues. As half of the time we spend in stop'n'go traffic, at least we can listen to some good music. I am pretty sure there are enough Americans who would agree with me. With age, your priorities will change.
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK regrettably we in the US no longer get the Focus at all only the Kuga ...Im very tired of these tall less agile cuv things. If the Focus was still available I would be buying the gas 1.5t ecoboost ztec this year... No Ford for me now. VW Golf it is . Thanks for yor review...also we get lower quality versions of most major brand tires in the us as well. Goodyear offers far better tires in Europe. BTW we dpnt even see the fitting of rear fog lamps or single side parking lamps here either..
Not the best. Small engine loses it after 100kmh
not hybrid
Mild hybrid (48V battery)
