I'm mom to 8 adorable and busy kiddos, nacho enthusiast, Utah transplant (and biggest fan!), and your new budgeting, productivity, and frugal cooking bestie! Truth be told, I suck at budgeting. I started The Page Company with a goal to build stronger families, by helping you tackle your overwhelm...even amidst the chaos 😜! You might have seen me on TLC, The Today Show, Rachael Ray, Good Morning America, Dr Phil, Inside Edition, and more. I have over a decade of free content here on my RUclips channel, as well as my two blogs, and also have a shop filled with products I personally invented/created/designed to make your life MUCH easier. Do I have kids? No. Do I live in the US? No. Do I have or aspire to have a kitchen like this? No. Will I ever have a kitchen even 1/2 (or a 1/4!) this size on the UK? No. Did I watch the entire thing and enjoy seeing how you guys live? Yes. 😜😂😁

Lol I just died already when you said that the old kitchen was for a very very small family! We are family of 9 and I have a kitchen that is about 1/4, at best, in total size of your old kitchen! I feel like I deserve an award or something! (And yes, I cook all the time...)

America style. 😅We don't have that in Europe. Americans love big houses. Some of you couldn't imagine living in a "normal" house. Normal for our standards.

@@silviamagdaI grew up in Asia, have lived in England and now live in the US. We can all live in smaller places, but if I have a choice (which I do now) I prefer not to live in a 400 sqft box. We can all make do or adjust or accommodate, but choices allow us to have preferences.

Now we have 3 that live her and I still love having the double appliances..My young adult kids do laundry here. I host the family parties and babysit grandkids Mon thru friday so their parents can work.

Awesome kitchen! I love keeping my herbs and spices in drawers too, and keeping them out of the light makes them last longer as well. But I stand mine up, and just label the top of each jar, which lets me fit more spice jars into one drawer, while still being able to see what's where. It's so fun to see how others arrange things to suit their specific needs - thank you!

We also keep our medicine cabinet in the kitchen! We are a military family and move every 1-3 years, so we never know exactly what the storage situation in the bathrooms of the next house are going to be, so we moved it to the kitchen so that it's consistent between houses. Plus, when we have friends over and someone inevitably needs a bandaid or advil, I don't have to run across the house!

I’m half way through your new cookbook. It is a phenomenal book. I would have loved having your book when I got married in 1963! My oldest grandson is just now moving out on his own. So I’ve ordered your book for him. He likes to cook and I think he’ll enjoy the book and it’ll make it easier to cook for himself. This is the PERFECT gift for a newlywed or young person moving out on their own. Also for anyone of any age. I’m a 79 year old widow and I’m loving your book. This must have been a monstrous undertaking. Thank you for writing it. 🍏🍓🧇🌮🥪🍔🌭🍝🥙🥩

This helped me so much! I’ve been drawing up things for my dream kitchen and there just isn’t much kitchen inspo for large families 😅. One thing I think I want in mine is an in-counter griddle. Seriously, as a mom of 9, 6 of which are boys, we cook soooo much! My husband made SEVENTY-SIX pumpkin pancakes for breakfast the other day and we finally just told them they had to wait for lunch 😂. We lived in 2300 sqft with 11 people my whole childhood. My mom did 6 to 8 loads of laundry every day with one washing machine. We had a kitchen 20 percent of this size. One dishwasher! One 32 in fridge. That previous kitchen would have been my mother's dream come true. It's a shame what people think they need these days.

They pay for quality and they keep everything clean and only replace what is necessary! She is getting most things free or at a low cost! They know they will get free ads!

For the drawer inserts that you said were sliding use “tack it over and over” on the underside of each insert. It’s essentially a special kind of glue that acts like Velcro without Velcro. Squeeze on a squiggle across the bottom, let dry, then it tacks to a smooth surface over and over (you can remove and it will tack again without reapplying)

    • @raquelkucinski657
      @raquelkucinski657 10 месяцев назад

To clarify don’t “glue” it to the drawer. Just apply the glue to the insert- let dry on it’s own- then put it in the drawer where you like.

This is so very cool, and I love that all of this works for you! I am laughing though, because my husband works in appliance repair, and he said the BIGGEST mistake people make with custom kitchens is having appliances built in cabinets like that because they are outrageously expensive to repair and soooo hard for techs to get to the parts that they need to get to in order to fix them. It's also harder to perform routine maintenance, like cleaning the coils. But darnit they look so good!

Hats off to your fun new kitchen! So glad you've been able to get all of these useful features while your kids are all still young and at home! We had 8 kids (no twins) in 10 years (from '87-'97) and I would have LOVED to have even half the size of your kitchen. But, we made do with what we had. It is fun to live vicariously through someone else though! Although, I think I can one-up you on the waffle makers! We had 3, but since everyone grew up and left home (they do that!) I downsized to 2. Some commentators might find all of your features excessive, but they probably have NO CLUE as to what it takes to run a household with 10 people in the family. I've seen kitchens like yours in other videos - the major difference is you actually USE your kitchen, whereas some of those other kitchens are just to look at. So good for you! I'm glad you were able to get all the features and space you wanted! BTW - I love your water fountain! You can always redo the floor in the future! And don't mind the "haters" - they're either jealous or don't know what it's like to be the mom of 8 and do all that you do! Keep it real and don't buy into the idea you have to "live up" to your audience's expectations. Always "think Celestial" and be true to yourself. Love ya!

Heyooooooo people, including Jordan and her family, are frugal for two reasons, to survive and to be able to afford the things they want. Frugality is a tool to get you where ylu want to be. If you've made it, you've made it. Nothing wrong with someone being able to afford nice things.

We had a vacuum cabinet in the kitchen but it didn't have power. But back when I was a kid -- ya know, before the invention of dirt 😉 -- there was no such thing as a cordless/rechargeable vacuum. Take it out, plug it in, drag it around, put it away. Great kitchen

First! I have been a HUGE fan of Jordan and have had so much respect for her for years, BUT... Just pointing out, Jordan has invited the Fr*nke "Parents" to ALL of her Outlandish Neworking Parties. They're friends... and talk about parenting in a number of the same concerning ways. A good person would address this. But... They also support T1m Ba11ard, so.... I've never been so disappointed in a creator and family that I really grew to love.

I don’t normally comment on videos, but I just felt the need to say something in this situation. Just because somebody is an acquaintance or is invited to parties, does not mean that she knows every mobild detail about her private life. What an unfair comment. Do you know all the details about your acquaintances personal lives? I would go as far as to say, do you even know the intricate details of your close friends lives? I’m gonna go ahead and say that’s a hard no. And you wouldn’t even know how she would handle the situation now, because she hasn’t been given the opportunity being that Ruby has been in jail. This comment would have been more appropriate had she been released from jail and continually been invited to Jordan‘s house. Just some food for thought.

    • @mcdancepants

Agreed. This comment is ignorant and unfair. I'm not LDS, and do not think that their members should have to answer for a rogue member's actions.

I think this is a completely fair issue to have and it would be nice to hear her address it since they have worked together and discussed parenting. I do personally feel that she interacts with her children differently so I hope that it’s a much healthier home but in all honesty nobody ever knows.

@@skylerwilde4399 They attended her lavish parties and share the same religion! These are a bunch of people that only do these vlogs and sell, sell, sell! They would be scared shitless to live a normal life where both parents work and struggle to do everything! Their church keeps them going because they need to keep up their status to stay up on their level in their church! We only know what we see is right! Ruby's family is still going on making their videos as if nothing ever happened! Money grubbers!

Look for undercabinet knife pull-downs. I've had them and previous kitchens and liked them a lot. Out of sight of toddlers, off the counter, organized. 👍 Mine were knife block style, which I prefer, but most of the modern ones are the magnetic strip style.
