IIRC Spark of Ions isnt needed cuz arc Locks mostly always use an aspect which has "jolted targets create an ionic trace" in its description.. so a free fragment slot to do whatever you want, prolly should use the one which emits a jolting arc wave when reaching critical health.
oh yea? from where did you get such info? The only thing about ionic traces I heard about are their percetages of ability restoration, which is the highest for warlock's rift and lowest for hunter dodges..
Yes, exactly. I really dont know what to do with Well bc I hate that if ur a warlock you are forced to run it, but removing it would be bad since they have basically built the game around, stand in a certain spot and do dmg. Like I always wanna run strand bc its a great dmg super and I love grapple and threadlings, but I cant bc of Well
Completely agree! Too many people say Arc Warlock isn’t good and I simply disagree. It’s easily my favorite for solo play. Granted, Well is best for endgame group activities, but I play solo casual and love running arc. Usually don’t have an issue with most encounters.
note on better already, it starts your health regen which is good but if you take ANY damage even 1 point the regen stops. recuperation is a better option since it just give a specified health gain every orb you pick up no matter if you take damage or not.
I think a couple of people said it, but Geomags. The extended Chaos Reach melts the bosses and can clear ads as well. Stun a champ, Chaos melts, and by the time you get to the boss, your super is back. And Coldheart works well with either armor exotic.
An important note for mods: all Font mods give you a flat 30 to the corresponding stat mod - meaning if you already have 100 discipline, Font of Focus does nothing. And I would advice to use Recuperation instead of Better Already, because health regeneration gets stopped as soon as you take any damage.
Depends on what mods we get next season honestly. But even without using the seasonal mods, it's still a pretty strong build. And you can always change around the mods to give you font of restoration for extra healing. You generate so many orbs with the build. And for stats, I do talk about it in the mods section, but you wanna focus on Resil and Recov, since you will be getting a boost to Discipline through the mods
If you’re discipline is 100 then font of focus would be wasted. Personally I won’t use surge mods unless I’m stacking atleast 2 as I find one, while also having to scavenge for orbs, to be too much of a risk. I would use bomber and outreach and reaper on the class item so popping rift gives you grenade and melee cooldowns instantly although a small amount, arms could be impact induction, bolstering detonation and firepower for orbs on grenade kills and on boots I use absolution with better already and recuperation to get my health back almost instantly in a few seconds after picking up one orb and absolution gives energy to all abilities on orb pickup. Loop is throw a grenade and a melee, then pop rift with arc soul as enemies are either getting damaged or defeated by your abilities or arc souls, you’ll be getting a ton of traces to reset the loop
That's actually a good point, I'm not sure. I would assume that its a flat bonus that you receive on top of your normal stat bonus, but idk. In the video I am at Tier 7 Resilience for reference, should've included that lol
So what is it about this build that lets it compete in the end-game arena with the others people generally look to? It's obvious from the footage that it does just fine, but is that the build or is that just you being a good player?
I'm really not a good player, thats kinda the point of the channel. I am an average player and I wanna show that you can be an average player and do these things like solos and low man raids. That's the content I'm going to keep posting going forward, would appreciate a sub if that sounds interesting to you!
Yeah honestly I was kinda torn on which exotic to use for this build, but Fallen Sunstar just looked better with my fashion haha, so I went with that. Might do a geomag build later, one that's focused on getting your super as fast as possible. This is more a general ability spam build.
@@XepplinTheSoloSherpa Honestly though, with how strong ashes to assets is, I wonder if this build might just generate your super faster than geomags. But even then the extended super duration from geomags is really nice so idk which is better.
Yeah I thought so too but in my testing I was taking less damage from everything as you can see in the clip. So idk if it's a bug or I'm dumb, but either way the bonus to recovery is really nice.
dim.gg/jzaadsa/Equipped heres a DIM link. I changed a fragment because, as someone pointed out in the comments, Spark of Ions is repetitive since that perk is included in the Electrostatic Mind Aspect. @@jmontez06 just gotta keep grinding, took my friend like 100+ clears of EP to get the shotgun way back in Warmind. Honestly I like when certain stuff is super rare. But I do think buying gear after raids has helped with bad luck protection. Good luck!
Use riskrunner and either crown of tempests or geomags to get even more potent results, I've been an arc warlock enjoyer for quite some time now and it's become very powerful
Does crown really work in Master/GM content, though? Back in the day people never used to use things like that in end-game because it's not easy to chain kills at that level
@taa347 yes it does, without it I probably wouldn't have been able to beat the psi ops moon gm or maybe even light blade, the build is incredibly busted
@@taa347 crown is really good for GMs i don't like using Fallen Sunstar because it feels pretty weak. Arc warlock is slept on, mainly due to teams always needing/requesting Well.

I run strand anyways and tell people to find someone else too. I don’t lfg with groups though people lfg with mine so

I wasn't sure exactly how much the Font mods gave you, I just knew it didnt go over 100, so thanks for the info!
Simple and solid guide :D what Bow/Roll were you using there?
Thanks, I appreciate it! The bow roll was Frenzy, Archers Tempo. So it was very fast draw time and decent damage
how will this build do next season? and I assume focus Resil, Dis, Recov?

I love this build but I use Delicate Tomb for more jolt and even more Ionic Traces. It’s genuinely op.
I'll have to try Delicate Tomb, haven't used it in a long time
For this build , would delicate tomb be better or cold heart
I think I depends on what content you are doing. Delicate tomb is better for ad clear and coldheart is better for single target damage.
So what is it about this build that lets it compete in the end-game arena with the others people generally look to?

You should try the geomags with the new buff , it feels amazing

Also a great gun to use is no time to explain because of the perk it has. Basically you can use two extra sets of bullets and be unstoppable
This should have just been combined with geomags. Then it basically would have been what crown is for tickle fingers.
I run a similar build to this with the fallen sunstar but I do prefer vesper of radius with close quarters in pve.
Vesper is also really good, my friend runs that exclusively in GMs
I tought elemantal embrace only works with matching elements

Even if this exotic gives me 3 supers and unlimited granades, I would never use it because of the looks
